Disappointing
Hotel
Experience
Due
to
Unpleasant
Receptionist
Behaviour
Me
and
friends
recently
had
the
opportunity
to
at
a
hotel
for
a
marriage
all
the
way
from
Bangalore
,
and
I
must
say,
my
overall
experience
was
quite
disappointing.
While
the
facilities
and
amenities
were
satisfactory,
my
stay
was
significantly
dampened
by
the
behavior
of
the
receptionist.
Upon
arriving
at
the
hotel,
I
had
hoped
for
a
warm
and
welcoming
atmosphere,
as
one
would
expect
from
a
reputable
establishment.
Unfortunately,
the
receptionist
I
encountered
seemed
disinterested,
unwelcoming,
and
downright
rude.
Their
lack
of
friendliness
and
professionalism
truly
left
a
lasting
negative
impression
on
my
entire
stay.
From
the
very
beginning,
it
was
evident
that
the
receptionist's
demeanor
was
far
from
friendly.
They
barely
acknowledged
my
presence
and
seemed
more
interested
in
talking
to
their
colleagues
than
addressing
my
needs.
Their
dismissive
attitude
made
me
feel
unwelcome
and
undervalued
as
a
guest.
Furthermore,
when
one
of
my
friend
approached
the
receptionist
for
toiletries
they
appeared
impatient
and
acted
rude,
ended
up
by
asking
how
many
of
you
are
here,
guest
are
not
Allowed
why
you
need
only
one
soap
will
be
provided.
We
had
booked
the
room
for
whole
day
but
we
stayed
for
just
30mins
to
get
freshen.
And
this
was
the
situation.
Perhaps
the
most
disheartening
aspect
of
this
encounter
was
the
receptionist's
refusal
to
address
my
concerns
when
I
attempted
to
express
my
dissatisfaction
with
their
behavior.
They
brushed
off
my
complaints
and
made
it
evident
that
they
had
no
intention
of
rectifying
the
situation
or
making
me
feel
valued
as
a
guest.
As
a
traveler,
I
believe
that
the
receptionist
plays
a
vital
role
in
shaping
the
overall
perception
of
a
hotel.
Their
behavior
sets
the
tone
for
the
entire
guest
experience,
and
unfortunately,
this
particular
receptionist
failed
to
meet
even
the
most
basic
expectations.
It
is
truly
unfortunate
that
the
negative
attitude
of
this
receptionist
overshadowed
what
could
have
been
an
otherwise
pleasant
stay.
I
sincerely
hope
that
the
hotel
management
takes
note
of
this
feedback
and
takes
appropriate
measures
to
ensure
that
future
guests
are
not
subjected
to
the
same
unprofessional
treatment.
In
conclusion,
while
the
hotel's
facilities
were
acceptable,
my
experience
was
greatly
marred
by
the
unpleasant
behavior
of
the
receptionist.
I
would
caution
potential
guests
to
consider
this
aspect
before
choosing
this
hotel,
as
the
lack
of
quality
customer
service
greatly
affected
my
overall
satisfaction
during
my
stay.
