One of the worst experiences in accommodation. After a very very long drive we arrived in Korce to spend the last 2 days of our road trip to Albania. So, we decided to stay somewhere luxurious to relax and have the chance to have a body massage and spa. We booked the junior suite for 142 euro per night. THE POSITIVES New hotel with very nice decoration. The whole hotel has an industrial mood with a lot of concrete and raw type wood. Nice furniture, small sofa, closet, bed with nice linens and pillows. THE NEGATIVES. CLEANNESS Average. Photos attached. SHOWER Having a shower was a little strangling. The water was licking to the floor near the bedroom (there was a second floor drainage, but still we had to whip the water with a towel). Hot water was a mysterious phenomenon. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot. We managed to solve this problem by letting the second faucet run during showering. SLIPPERS The hotel provides 2 pairs of slippers for your stay. We found in the closet, 2 pairs of used slippers. We asked to be changed with new (unused), and they brought us 2 pairs of used slippers again. The receptionist informed us that they always provide new ones. SOUNDPROOF None!!!! None!!!! None!!!! The housekeeper started working at 7.00 am, opening and closing the doors from the neighbors rooms, dragging trolleys and heavy baskets full of linens to the corridor. That lasted for over 2 hours. We could hear every conversation outside our door. At 8:20 am outside our balcony, a guy was fixing something to the rooftop of the cafe bar of the hotel, making also a lot of noise. The roof was at the same level as our balcony since our room was at the first floor. As a result, we had no privacy, since the guy could see everything in the room (bed, bathroom etc.) BREAKFAST At the time of our visit, there was no buffet. Is fully acceptable since we felt that there weren't many guests at the time. So he had to select between 5-6 choices of the restaurant's menu. We asked if we can have more than one choice per person, and the answer was that it was not recommended since it would be too much food to eat(!). We preffered not to make it a big deal and order one choice per person. So one of us selected the "tower in" item which was the only one written in albanian language. Since we can understand some albanian, we ordered this specific dish, since it was just bread, butter, cake, croissant, jam, honey and fruits. But, when the dish arrived, there were only 2 small croissants, very small portions of butter jam, many fruits BUT no bread and no cake. We had to ask, and the answer was that they ll bring us some bread but they ran out of cake. So let's eat whatever is left!!! STUFF Do they know that they are working in a 5 star hotel? Seems like they are doing their job... incomplete. No smile, lack of hospitality, no willing to help. At least, that was the general picture. I guess nobody cares... SPA We never tried, since we left as soon as possible PRICE The hotel is located in the city of Korce. Travelling over a week in Albania (Sarande, Vlore, Berat, Durres, Skoder and Korce), the average price of a city hotel is 80 to 90 euros for a similar room and services ever in more popular cities. So, in conclusion, 140 euros for just a nice interior design, just only that and nothing more of what a 5 star hotel should provide, is totally waste of money. We are hotel owners for the last 20 years, and while we are traveling, we like to be supportive and understanding, since we know how difficult is to operate properly a hotel every day. Some mistakes are acceptable and part of the routine, but when this becomes THE routine, then something is going wrong. Surely, NOT RECOMMENDED.

We stayed in Room 14 and it was amazing! In gallery has very nice Wabi-sabi style design as I understand. Each room features different style and the terrace offers a decent view of the most beautiful church in Korce. The room is very comfortable and spacious. Shower room is also nicely designed and functioned. Also, overall hygiene is up to the standard which made us feel more comfortable to stay there especially during covid time. The staffs are really nice! We forgot to take our jackets and they sent them by post super quickly once we asked. One small suggestion for service in terrace bar/restaurant area. The staffs working there could have been a bit more communicative or friendlier 😅 Overall I would highly highly recommend people who travel to Korce to check out this lovely hotel 😊

In Gallery Spa & Hotel in Korca is one of the best in Albania. My wife and I approached the hotel and were greeted by a grumpy lady. We asked about the availability, room types and prices. She simply said we have different rooms that start from one hundred dollars and above depending on square footage. When we asked her to explain more, she said its better if you go online and book. Anyways, we had some coffee, went online and booked one of the best rooms they had. The room was amazing. Spacious, well designed with a wonderful view of the boulevard. The bathroom/shower is very nice and convenient. Comfortable bedding sheets. We also used the pool in the basement and that entire experience was very relaxing. What a breathtaking romantic design. The restaurant located at 5th floor is amazing as-well. We had dinner and breakfast there and every single dish was delicious. Check out is at 12:00. As we are closing the door to take the elevator down, a few minutes before noon, the phone started ringing. I assume it was the receptionist... not sure what he wanted to say but we were on our way out anyways. Slight some indirect pressure from their staff. At the reception, the gentleman shoved a piece of paper on my face stating that I have to pay in Albanian Leke. For a second, I was confused. I had paid on Expedia and I am not sure why I am being asked to pay again. He was not having it, even though I was showing him the receipt and payment on my phone. He went to the back to check with someone and came back telling me that I need to pay in Albanian Leke. I was 100% certain that I had paid but didn’t want to create a scene and I simply did what I was told knowing that we will have to sort the differences out later. At the moment I had no Albanian Leke and I definitely was not going to let them rip me off with their Euro/Albanian Leke or US Dollar/Albanian Leke conversion. It was extremely inconvenient, and this is not the way that 5 Star hotels treat their guests. I went out to find an exchange place in the middle of the rain. Unpleasant experience. I had to call Expedia & Hotel to explain that I had paid twice for the room. Finally, their manager apologized and asked for my banking info so he can refund me. I did receive portion of the money as it seems like I was the one that had to pay $30 transfer fees. As a guest, I did not deserve this kind of treatment. Anyways, unpleasant experience… 5 stars for the hotel. 1 star for the hospitality. Average of 3 Stars is what they deserve! I would have preferred the other way. I have been to many hotels across the world and did learn that the warmth of the people and their hospitality is what makes the stay beautiful, not the cold feeling of concrete.

I scheduled a deep therapeutic massage plus a face massage. When I got there they suggested I combine it to one hour. I said okay but I did not get a deep therapeutic massage instead I got an extremely light oily one. Very disappointing. The facial massage was okay but I did not get what I was expecting at all. So I did not get what I thought I was paying for. The facilities are nice and the staff friendly but I'm not sure why they have different massages listed if they will not give you what you pay for. I've had other massages in Saranda and Tirana and they provided what was listed so I am not sure what is going on here.

I would totally recommend In Gallery Spa Hotel to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable stay in Korca. The hotel is luxurious and so attractive. The service is also great, the Spa Managers were so polite, helpful, and I had a positive experience.

    - great location - great rooms RESTAURANT AWFUL! we wanted to eat and the staff was rude. There were other people eating and the restaurant still insisted that there is “no food” (?). When we asked why others were able to eat the answer was “they have a special menu” after that he just walked away ?? not okay for that price of the hotel.

Only because of the restaurant!!! There for the second time, but this time something had changed. I love the rooms, room’s view, SPA and the emotional shower, but the food was so terrible this time! I don’t know if I should go back there anymore😕

Firstly let me say I am taking into account various aspects in writing this review - development of the country, economic state, expectations etc. Like: If I was rating the hotel purely on the physical aspects and it’s facilities, I would give it 5 stars. I have been to 4/5 star hotels in fully developed countries which does not provide such spacious and beautifully designed rooms with very nice spa area. Location is great with cathedral across the street, lots of restaurants and bars and the Bazaar a few minutes walk. Dislike: simply put, the staff and service! The customer experience is as important as the hotel itself, personally for me, more so. Especially the front staff. Every encounter we had with a staff member was not a good one to some degree. From not providing basic local knowledge or guidance, not being able to help with most basic of needs (this could’ve been a lost in translation moment), to an ugly experience with several front staff members, including the manager 🤦🏽‍♀️. Long story short and without getting into details on our situation, complete rudeness to us, expecting us to solve a mishap which was their wrong doing, a lot of yelling between the staff in Albanian in front of us and everyone who was in the vicinity and ending with me asking them to come up with a solution or to call the police so that we can submit an official report and complaint. At the end we got what should’ve been the way right from the beginning. Instead we wasted half an hour and left with a bitter taste in our mouths. Note to future travelers: if you want to have a very nice hotel with a good location but very bad service and rude staff, I would say go for it. If not, please stay away. Note to hotel manager/owner: you have a great establishment. Invest money on training your current staff on customer service and providing local knowledge. Or hire new staff who knows what it means to work at a 4/5 star hotel.

One of the worst accommodation experiences. Smoke: The hotel allows smoking in all its closed spaces despite being illegal and despite the hotel having no proper air filter. The room smells consistently of smoke. Service: Rude and unhelpful staff. The whole customer journey is very unpleasant starting with the booking till the checkout. The only place where the cook (a blonde lady that prepares the breakfast) screams to clients that she won’t cook anything since it is 2 minutes past her closing time despite the fact that no one is arguing or asking her anything (bucket list experience). Noise: There is no proper isolation in the rooms. The music from the bar makes the rooms resemble to discos. If you ask the receptionist what is happening, you just get another rude answer. Highly not recommended

Okay where to start!! Lobby was full of smoke from all the people smoking at the bar! Dark dingy they went for a modern look to the hotel but have failed miserably. The bed was cheap and not comfortable at all. Restaurant had some okay things. The breakfast buffet was terrible. Don't expect 5 star service more like 2

Excellent spa services in Albania. Hammam, massage and facial with Rouena was among the best we’ve ever had. We went to the restaurant upstairs after and were surprised to find an extensive offering of curated meats from Black Angus to Wagyu and Tomahawk. Overall very impressive design and services. Best place in Korca. Would recommend to everyone without thinking twice.

Without a doubt, In Gallery Restaurant stands as the finest dining establishment in town! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the extraordinary view that stretched out before us, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the delectable meat dishes. The flavors were simply divine, and each bite was a celebration of culinary excellence. It's evident that the chefs at In Gallery have a true passion for their craft, as every dish was prepared with precision and care. Beyond the incredible food, the servers were an absolute delight. Not only were they knowledgeable about the menu, but they also offered helpful recommendations that enhanced our dining choices. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel genuinely welcomed and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. In Gallery Restaurant not only excels in its culinary offerings but also provides a captivating ambiance that leaves a lasting impression. The combination of great food, stunning views, and impeccable service creates an unforgettable experience. If you find yourself in town and seeking a dining destination that exceeds expectations, look no further than In Gallery Restaurant. We left with hearts and stomachs full, eager to return for another exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️🥂

I am not putting a five star review with a little bit of regret because the rooms were excellent, the restaurant breath taking and the spa incredibly nice. However, in such a place you expect perfect service and my experience in the spa was deceiving. My masseuse was a man, which is not a problem but I would have liked to know in advance, and even though the massage was nice (very deep when I asked for a relaxing one), he was very rude to me at a time when I needed to be relaxed. That’s not what you expect for a massage, such a shame ! The restaurant was however the best we’ve had in Albania, a must do !!

Perfection! The ambiance and vibe of this hotel is actually very unique. Artsy with a modern yet natural accents. The dark hallways contrast the bright airy room in a way that speaks to you as only art can. And the pool is extraordinary! It's like swimming in a modern art installation. I loved it!

Place has been recommended and reserved for us by the local hosts from Villa Verde. However we couldn’t choose better places than this restaurant. Restaurant is on the 5 floor and has beautiful view. Is very uniquely decorated with lovely fire place in the middle and all attention on little details, Kind of surrealistic, kinda gothic style with dark shaded lights that complete the atmosphere and goes great with atmosphere and the decor. Is not another chain restaurant.. while you’re in enjoying the great n tasty steak perfectly cooked from high quality meat you catch up the way of feeling that owners expressed in their desire. Is something different from what you already know is worth the time n money you will spend there. Service and waitresses are very well prepared and educated about what and how they should serve you as a customer and surprisingly they have right attitude and they seems to like what they do . The only problem is parking, can be very difficult to find a spot so you have to be patient and calmly wait until someone else leave.

A hotel without customer service across the entire customer journey: From enquiry to check-out. They allow illegal smoking in the entire hotel. Poor quality food and the only hotel I’ve ever been where the cook refuses to make anything at 11:00AM. Low quality for an excessively high price - it's better to book an AirBnB

From the internet I found the idea of the hotel, the style of the furniture, the design, etc. very interesting. When we arrived, parking was a bit of a problem as we had to wait for a spot to become available. The room was very cozy and comfortable to sleep in, but there was little light in the room and it was tiring. The pool, it was to say that it is, we did not have towels for the pool. Breakfast and service was ok. Ps: An apple Korça or an apple juice or jam would be fine😊

What was good: The design, the location, the potential to make the spa experience a good one. What wasn't: let me say first that this review is based on the price range of the hotel. Such prices put the hotel in the category of high value luxurious ones. It definitely does not offer that. I mean not even the basic things such as ready and fully equipped room at check in, reservations for the restaurant and SPA, etc. We all know that the good hotels are not only about the design, or the location. They are mainly valued about the experience they offer to their customers. Let's make this review as accurate as possible to help other future customers. I booked a room for the price of 150 Euros. The booking is a bit of an hassle because there is no online booking so you have to go to the bank where the hotel holds the account and deposit the money. We arrive at the hotel Saturday after 13.00. Bit of a problem with the parking. The hotel does not have their own parking lot, so you have to find a spot at the driveway. On the weekends can be difficult to find one. Next we do the check in, we go in the room, but it was not clean and ready. We wait downstairs a bit and then go and check the room again. There were no slippers, and the robe was missing the belt. We ask at reception after talked to the cleaning ladies. It took a while for them to find a pair of slippers so we could go underground to the SPA area. The SPA area itself was a nice one, but again the hotel lacks management. The staf is completely and utterely confused. I had booked a couples massage and confirmed it at the check in, but when we asked about the masseuse, the staff at the SPA area told me that the masseuse had called sick this day and the reception should have had notified me. Nobody did. Same thing happened with the restaurant. We booked a table at the reception with three persons present at that moment. Considering how confused they were, I asked for them to confirm me the reservation otherwise I could find another place to have dinner. They all confirmed my reservation. At 8 pm we go upstairs for dinner. The restaurant staff surprised and confused said we didn't have reservation. After some discussions they could find a way to sit us in a table. When we go in the bedroom around midnight, the hotel was having a techno party at the bar one floor below us. Needless to say, we could not sleep. After I complained around 1 am, the staff embarrassed said that in 30 minutes the party would be over. Breakfast was ridiculous. Basically just nuts and dry fruits. We asked for an omelet, so at least they offered two basic ones.

We spent 2 nights and we don't regret our choice. The hotel is modern and the room nicely decorated. We got a great view from the bathroom and lot of space in the room. The breakfast is amazing and we can choose anything from the menu. Great service and freidnly staff. I would love to come back again.

The hotel has the most spiritual vibe I’ve ever felt. The food is amazing, the views- incredible, but above all I LOVED the team and their caring support. It’s fun, it’s eclectic, authentic and I believe suits best for contemporary couples as well as business. Families with kids were also happy to be there as children are taken care of and run free, as Mother Nature intended.
