Went here with friends from Belgium whilst visiting and they all love this friethuis so said they wanted to go. But, I am a vegetarian so prior to going for a takeaway here, we called and asked if they had vegetarian options, which we were told 'yes we have veggie options; salads and a veggie burger' so we go and I order the bicky veggie (since I didn't see any veggie salads). However, once we got back to our house to eat the takeaway, mine was packaged open with a meat burger pressed against it and since they were touching in the package, for me and most vegetarians, thats cross contamination and no longer actually vegetarian. I ended up wasting my money on a burger I didn't eat. If they are packaged together with meat, it is very likely to me that they may also be cooked and prepared in a way that isn't entirely veggie so I am unable to trust eating here. They may be perfectly tasty and be a lovely place to eat for those who are not vegetarian (and since it was so busy I assume its very good) but for me and probably other vegetarians, it was not suitable like most fruithuis' in Belgium. I would have preferred to have been told "no we don't have veggie options so I could have eaten elsewhere.
