Lovely sight to visit which is free. Take your time reading the history inside. Bring a snack and enjoy the surroundings.

Went there early to avoid the crowds and it was quite only another couple there taking photos. It has been reconstructed a bit but its still an ancient site. They say its closed on Tuesdays but the site is open no gates and is free. Other sites have fences so you can't get in but they can be viewed from outside. I gave it an extra star as it's free 😀

I was amazed that you could walk around these ruins without buying a ticket. We always love to see some history and culture when we are travelling and it was easy to amble around the ruins but there wasn't much information about what they were.

Loved this odeon, the information around it and how it was partially reconstructed. You can walk underneath it, too, which is pretty impressive and shows a couple of pathways used in the past. Access is easy from the road, entry is free.

Small (750 persons) Roman theater. Free to visit, you can also go inside and walk around. Walk also around the building left to see a nice mosaic floor. I noticed a small group of smalll bats inside, hanging and flying around. Free to visit. Go also across the street to the west diggibg site and to the right, Casa Romana (not free btw, but worth it!)

I did not expect much here but i was surprised, place is renovated, you can go inside where is described info about Odeon. Definitely i can recommend this place. No entry fee.

The fact that this was free to visit, without any guards or "do not enter" signs made it that much closer to connecting with the place. As long as everyone is respectful of the amazing ancient ruins we have the fortune of seeing, we can keep sites like these free and open. You can walk around the Odeon and pretend you're addressing an imaginary audience, like how the ancient Greeks and Romans used to. It's in quite good shape, built in the 2nd and 3rd centuries by Romans and part of the Ancient Town of Kos. Most of it has been restored, but the first nine steps are the original marble ones. There are a few public parking lots nearby if you plan to go by car, but I haven't seen any public toilets.

I had the opportunity to visit during an event and loved it! It was free of charge and I felt in awe that I was sitting in an actual Roman Odeon that so many before me in the past had also attended. I went back the next day to also take some photos in the light of day.

Cheap to get in, only €6 each. It was informative and interesting to walk through. The only reason we gave it 4 starts is because they went through so much work to restore the house, and now they are not keeping up with it. The mosaics on the floor are fading and covered with dust. There are rescued items laying around in the outside areas that would be better suited displayed inside.

Easy to access, parking nearby. This is not a huge site but is well worth visiting to take in some of the history of the island, very clean and well restored, not overcrowded with tourist so was a very peaceful visit, was a bonus getting to see the Roman mosaic floor right next to it. One for history buffs!

Amazing place well informed for most languages and just in awe that this is situated and not as busy as expected. Tucked away set back from the seafront by a few hundred metres well worth the trip! Great and well worth the wall as the Roman Casa was shut so was not pleased at that. This is also free and just amazing with the weather. Not much nearby it nor detailed as much as I supposed.

The Roman Odeon of Kos is a captivating historical gem! Immerse yourself in the echoes of ancient performances within its well-preserved walls. The intimate setting and impressive acoustics make it a must-visit. A journey through time, where history comes alive. A true marvel on the island!

Blink and you miss it. Park for free very nearby, little gate and short folly to get to it. Free to enter anytime can see ancient mosaic if you go to top of steps and look over to your left.

It is a small site but historically too important not to be visited. Built in 2nd century it was meant to be, primarily, a place where music events would be held. It is believed that it's been used for senate meetings. Entrance is free and pretty well kept considering the fact that they don't charge for the entrance.

For €6 it is worth a look at. Enjoyed looking at the mosaics and wall art.

Nice, small roman theatre. Feel the history. Visit also inside, cooling there from the heat of sun. Free entry. Opening hours, check their page. Take waterbottle with you.

Amazing place if you know the history, but it's not really well taken care of, I actually couldn't believe they allow anyone just to walk over and around such historic buildings and mosaics.
