Very pretty city with a marina where you can get to different smaller islands, fish, swim, dive and just drink and see the sight sees, the high Street is nice full of handmade local products, there is a market, silver jewellery and many more, plenty of restaurants to choose from but be aware Greek ruins, museums and other stuff are closed on Tuesdays

Kos old town is just great. make sure to visit the castle and old Agra. mom's kitchen and the taverna next to it in the covered walkway beside the agra were our goto places for dinner and lunch. There is a GREAT ice cream and sorbet vendor on the corner of the front that is worth seeking out . enjoy

Kos Market Hall is actually the square at the center of the city. Just like the original purpose, in each ancient city around the Mediterranean, it is the center for meeting, chatting, trading, and resting. You can find groceries, coffee, and tourist gifts. It is organized very nice and aesthetic. It is a place not just for shopping. You should spend here at least a couple of hours.

A nice market, very much aimed at tourists with lots of souvenirs and a fantastic variety of spices. Some fresh fruit is available as well here

If you think you are entering a large market then you are disappointed, it is just a store. They do have all the local stuff, so it's nice to go in.

The building is nice and it's good for a wide selection of traditional herb mixtures, but not much that you couldn't find in a supermarket

Lots of shops, restaurants, castles, and parks everywhere need good walking shoes with cobble grounds. Also beautiful marina with fabulous views Only downside is that there are not enough public toilets, only saw one and that had stairs, not good if you are disabled.

Smells amazing when you walk in, so many herbs and tasty treats! We got some things for us as well as some gifts to take home. Definitely the place to go for the best variety of herbs and soaps.
