If
you
go
to
Kos
Town,
you
will
end
up
here
anyway.
This
is
the
hub
of
the
town
itself.
The
harbour
is
large
and
dominated
by
the
castle.
The
area
is
surrounded
by
restraints
and
bars,
most
of
which
are
way
overpriced.
My
advice
is
to
go
a
couple
of
blocks
away
from
the
port
for
better
standards
quality
and
prices.
Most
of
the
ferries
to
the
other
islands
leave
from
here.
The
internal
Greek
ferries
will
leave
from
the
right
as
you
look
out
to
sea
at
the
other
side
of
the
castle
and
the
others
which
involve
Turkey
or
passports
leave
from
the
terminal
on
the
left
side
of
the
mouth
of
the
harbour
as
you
look
out
to
see.
In
the
evening,
the
circular
part
of
the
port
is
filled
with
daytrip
boats,
etc.
