loved this place...a hidden treasure. Great food ! we each ordered a different item...plus cheese curds. shared tastes all was wonderful. definitely on our return soon list.

Never been there until the remodel. We really enjoyed it. Excellent food. Excellent service and drinks. The place is really nice. We will definitely go back! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Tried Lakelife last night and it did not disappoint! We started with the corn fritters and the Bavarian pretzel. Both were outstanding. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken wrap and he said it was great. I got the pesto grilled chicken sandwich and it was amazing and huge! It had two chicken breasts on it. I didn’t eat the bun because it was so good even without it. I also got a side of the grilled veggies which were very fresh and fantastic. We will definitely be back!!

New restaurant. Recent opening was highly anticipated in the area, and it was busy! All 8 of us felt the service and food was great! Excellent menu variety. Love that we can drive OR boat to this restaurant. Indoor seating and outdoor waterfront dining. Decor is amazing!!

Even in the middle of Winter, this place makes me feel like i’m chillin’ out beachside. Breakfast was great, not too pricey, either. Best part was they were playing some 80s pop over the speakers. New Order, Robert Palmer, Men at work. Hell yeah!

This was my first time visiting as I had a really great experience at another restaurant in the area and wanted to give this a try. Nice little small town atmosphere and wonderful place on the water. The service here was absolutely outstanding, very attentive servers. I had the steak sandwich and cornbread casserole. Honestly, the steak sandwich was a big let down it was just kind of thrown together and there wasn't much flavor to it and it didn't seem very fresh. The cornbread casserole also tasted like it had been sitting for a while. There were a lot of items on the menu and I honestly thought this would have been a safe choice. Like I always say because this was my first time here I don't want to judge until I get a second opportunity at a second plate, so I'll definitely be back! And hopefully the food matches the service.

Very good food and service! Went for lunch with my team and really enjoyed. They have a couple vegetarian options as well! Very tasty and a nice place as well!

Great takeout pizza. I'd explain this bar as on the rough side, run down but nice that people can pull up in boats. Staff always friendly. Good prices on pizza.

Absolutely amazing, fun environment. Clean bathrooms. Great service and great food! I got the Barbee grilled cheese and it's probably the only thing I'll order again just because it was so good. Cheese pull was 10/10. Would definitely come again.

It is kind of expensive and the Lady that runs the joint is less than pleasant. She lets her dog roam around in the resturant and it's food and water bowl is behind the bar right outside the kitchen. I'm sire that is health department approved....

A great little dive bar with really good food, especially for the price! I didn't know what to expect with the avocado fries, but they were amazing! The spicy cheese curds were also great! I've never been disappointed with anything I have gotten from here. They have a good beer selection and cheap drinks and karaoke at times and a jukebox at others. I didn't get good cell reception, but they had free WiFi! I don't really appreciate the smoking inside, but that's not their fault so much as just the laws being different in different states so different expectations from locals.

We loved the patio and watching the boats. Food was good but pricy.. Later in the evening it becomes very active with bands and young people. Service was good.

Sat outside on a nice deck overlooking Barbee Lake, having a couple of cocktails watching all the boats cruise by. We had Ellen as our server and she was excellent. She was very attentive and we never had to ask twice for anything we needed. The appetizers and entrées were hot, made to order, and very tasty. I had the steak sandwich with mozzarella and grilled onions, with a side of cornbread casserole. They also have live entertainment. This place is really cool and I will definitely be a returning customer.

It was a great first experience eating at Lakelife Bar & Grill. The cornbread casserole was excellent. Servers K and S were so helpful and courteous and made our meal more fun! Good luck S! The chicken wrap was delicious too. We ate outside and it was very enjoyable.

Food is really good but a little greasy. Have been there 4 times and service and atmosphere are what brings me back!

Fun atmosphere and nice outdoor seating. I really like my food and felt like everyone in our group liked theirs.

Service was alright. Drinks could've been filled more often but she seemed busy, so I let it go. Atmosphere was relaxed. My daughter liked her The Captain burger. My Bison Burger was good, but a bit overcooked (I asked for medium rare, but got medium well). Will likely return to try again.

We have gone here a couple of times for lunch or dinner and it wasn’t bad at all. Pretty pricey but we do love the atmosphere. However, we had high hopes for the breakfast buffet and it was absolutely awful. Everything was cold and there were literally 6 items to choose from for $13 per person. Our bill was $37.24 and even the coffee was horrible. Our server drop off our drinks off and we did not see her until we were ready for the bill. We will be back but. It for breakfast.

Fantastic lakefront spot. Great bar food. Excellent service. Extensive menu. Will be back! And the ceiling upstairs is a gorgeous "underwater" environment. 🐟

Really fun place! Wide selection on menu and a fun casual decor. On the Saturday we were there, they had live music outside.

AYCE Breakfast buffet…. $13.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids. Scrambled eggs, bng, sausage, bacon, French toast, hash browns. Special drinks for $5 ea. Seat yourself and serve yourself. Waitress comes around for drinks etc. Friendly, fun atmosphere and lots of locals.

Ate lunch by the channel. Pleasant atmosphere, good wait staff. Enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork and the breaded tenderloin. The side of cornbread casserole was good also. Will return some weekend to enjoy live music. They do accept credit and debit cards but be prepared to pay a 3 percent extra charge for the convenience of using a card. Best to pay with cash.

We had a party of 10, including kids and the host was very nice on sitting us quickly. Brent was our server and he provided excellent customer service skills. The restaurant is very clean and provides a nice environment indoors and outdoors. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and a large drink menu! I can’t forget the salad bar is laid out very nice and a lot to choose from! I will highly recommend this place and will come back again to eat

This place is small but plenty of room to have a great time! I had a bunless mushroom Swiss burger and it was cooked perfectly! The service was great! They checked in often to see if we needed anything. The entertainment (The Strays) are always a delight to see. Great time dancing! And they have outside seating too. People told me that they'll also bring their boat to grab food.

The remodel is outstanding. Melanie is an engagingly great waitress. Our first two meals here were fresh and delicious. The vegetables certainly were never frozen. While I will miss the old Barbee Landing and it's hole in wall appeal, the Lakelife Bar and Grill is a much better destination, with better views, staff and dining experience.

Very nice remodeled restaurant and bar on beautiful lake Barbee. Very clean and very good wait staff. We were served quickly with great recommendations. Drive in with your vehicle or golf cart or motor up to the dock in your boat. Great outdoor seating as well as inside seating. Definitely a place I will visit again when in the area

Absolutely love this place! Some many different walks of life hanging out and no drama!!!! Just a really great hometown/lake bar!!!!!

Good place to go and have a few drinks great service and even better food.

Place still allows smoking. Chicken gizzards were the worst ever!!!!! Hamburger was ok at best!! Waitress was ok, but when I said they could have the gizzards back, she didn't adjust the bill at all! I will chew on raw fish from the lake before I ever go in there again!

Great place. Don't bring kids weekend nights. Food is really good, typical bar fare done right. When live band, loud for my taste (based on 3 separate nights not one), this is a bar/ grill, not a concert venue. My current opinion great place, ownership needs to make sure the place can be a performance space while still providing a place to drink/ eat/ talk. Thx!
