"It was a hidden treasure located on the outskirts of Jakarta." One sunny Sunday morning, I embarked on a bike ride along a new route. Following jalan Jatiwaringin, I made my way towards jalan Raya Hankam. It marked my first venture into this particular area. After approximately 55 minutes of riding, I decided to take a short break. It was during this pause that I happened upon a sign for 'Rumah Perubahan' (RP) and 'Jakarta Escape.' Having previously watched several of Professor #rhenaldkhasali's podcasts, my curiosity was piqued, and I felt compelled to explore this area further. From the exterior, it appeared to be a private residence, surrounded by a high fence and a grand gate. After obtaining permission from the security personnel, I was graciously allowed inside and escorted by another guard on a motorcycle. The property was adorned with numerous Javanese wooden gates (gebyog) and towering trees. To my astonishment, I discovered an extraordinary gem on the outskirts of Jakarta. I had the opportunity to meet with the Marketing staff and gain insights into the sprawling 8-hectare estate, complete with training facilities, lodging accommodations, a restaurant, café, and even a swimming pool. Armed with this information, I continued my bike ride, visiting the tempeh-making site, a spacious hall suitable for traditional weddings, and engaging in playful banter with some friendly deer. I then proceeded to the Pengilon restaurant at Rumah Victoria, making a mental note to try their cuisine on a future visit. I explored the Galea Belangi area, featuring a stylish Javanese-modern wedding hall nestled alongside a crystal-clear swimming pool. My journey concluded at Rumah Turki. The experience was nothing short of enchanting, providing a much-needed respite amidst lush greenery and refreshing air. I plan to return in a few weeks with my family to relish both the environment and the culinary offerings at Pengilon. I extend my heartfelt gratitude for creating such a serene oasis at #rumah_perubahan

A large complex with many cluster area / spots for many events, i.e wedding, training, including also corporate events. The concept is natural and foresty... You can family time also here....

Spacious place! Car parking 10K per visit, we change 200K for food voucher and get free access to bamboo forest & free animal food. There are shuttle bus 10K/person, sadly facilities not too clean.

It's a good place to get away from the busy schedules and escape from the hectic city routines. The place is very refreshing and it has a mini zoo and some other attractions. You don't have to bring food nor drinks, since they sell them at a reasonable price. Car parking fee: IDR 10,000.0 Entrance fee: IDR 25,000.0 per person. Infants: free

It’s a hidden gem in Jakarta! Perfect place for gathering, having family picnic, or even kids activities. There is sunday market on every weekend which is using coupon for every transaction (cashless). Occasionally, they provide “Petualangan Cilik” (Kids Adventure) program for your lovely kids to learn science by the nature. It’s highly recommended to visit Bamboo Forest with extra cost 30k per person.

Good try from Prof Rhenald Kasali and his team to create such a place. There is a lot of room for improvment to begin with. The construction, the cabling system, how the staff is trained, and especially the design planning and signages/wayfinding system. The whole look is got to change, since Prof Rhenald is top of the notch people in the academics world we currently have. The place is thoughtful but only halfway, so it kinda unfortunate.

A well preserved natural environment with a lot of outdoor activities to choose from. A leisure time in mini forest to teamwork capacity building program.

New place to spend weekend. But maybe in the future Prof. Rhenald Kasali wants to make this place more disabled and wheelchair friendly.

new family place alert!!! if u have younger kids who love animals and love swimming, then this is the perfect place for u!! went there last weekend and it was amazing!! the entrance fee is technically free but u still need to pay 50k per person to get the voucher. u can use this voucher for any rides, food, attractions in the venue! I only pay 500k even tho there are 12 of us, and I got to use the voucher for horse rides, animal feeding, archery, buy drinks (soft drink is definitely overpriced), buy some food like takoyaki (best one I've tried so far! and it's only 20K each if u bought 2 package!). swimming pool also available for use (I don't know how much u need to pay for it). I will definitely comeback next time! my girls was having so much fun!

Wide parking space with tranquil green space. Fitting the description as Jakarta Escape place. Good vibes with cafe and venue for various events.

I love every part of this center. This place is suitable for people who like to interact with nature. There are a lot of facilities to make you comfortable such as a swimming pool, wild animals, vegetation, and so on. In my opinion, this center is highly recommended for tourists from within Indonesia and other parts of the world.
