A pretty pathetic excuse of a hotel. Just an okay 2-star hotel (debatable, with a 1-star) with little to no atmosphere. They pretend its a fine hotel, but reality is far from it. Rooms aren't not upto the mark. Also the hotel needs a lot of maintenance and work for renovation. Also pathetic service by the staff and specially the Manager. They don't know how to behave with customers and are rude to them and also to the staff. Very much disappointed with their service & staff. AGAIN, Overall a pretty pathetic excuse of a hotel.

Great ambience, good service, food menu has different variety and some dishes are really innovative, like Crispy chana Aloo chat. However, taste of food is average, some dishes are very good, but most are just average. We also faced discrepancy in billing, once pointed out, they resolved it, but word of caution to all, cross check your bills and the quantities. Location is not easily accessible at present, and will be no different for at least an year.

I stayed in Hotel Lotus Ananta Elite, Kota from 27-28 / August. I had booked Suite room (Room No. 405 & 406). I would like to say that my stay and overall experience was pathetic and below par. Having stayed in previous Ananta properties in Pushkar and Ranthambore, I am sorry to say that Hotel Lotus Ananta Elite, Kota doesn't live up to the expectations and brand value of what Ananta group is offering in another cities. I believe a serious restructuring needs to be done and the management needs to pull up their socks and needs a significant improvement to provide a valuable customer experience. At its present state, Hotel Lotus Ananta Elite, Kota does not qualify to be a part of Ananta group of hotels. Customer books a hotel by seeing the Ananta name tag but the services being offered here are very disappointing. I would list out few of the things which I experienced during my stay : 1. There is no basic hygiene and cleanliness. The washrooms are dirty and in corners tobacco spit stains are there. 2. Coffee Mugs are not clean and filled with dust. 3. Door lock for Room 406 is not working and the door can be opened even from outside. This is a big lapse of security and privacy. 4. Door lock for Room 405 cannot be locked. 5. The showers in the bathroom is only providing hot water and flow of the shower is also severely restricted. 6. The toilet jet flow controller in Room 405 is not working and jet can only be operated by opening/shutting the main valve. 7. The bath tubs are stained and not cleaned properly. 8. There is a peculiar smell coming in Room No.406. 9. The linens and towels provided are soiled and not cleaned properly. 10. Open sachets of sugar are still kept in the room at the coffee station(maybe from previous guest stays.) Lapse of good housekeeping. 11. Housekeeping/Reception staff are slow to respond and have to be reminded again after asking for service by telephone call. Overall I would say that this hotel is best avoidable. It is only functioning because of its rooftop bar/restaurant , which is overpriced in my opinion. The drinks/cocktails are given fancy names but they just taste very bland and are priced quite high. Better to look for other properties near it while in Kota. I would recommend Hotel Ortus which is similarly priced but is well maintained and service is also good. PS: Even after mailing them twice and highlighting the above issues, there has been no response and assurance from the hotel or Ananta Management. That clearly explains how seriously they value their customers and their feedbacks.

Claims to be a 4 star property, but don't fall for the scam that this hotel is. 0 hospitality, pathetic service & hygiene. We had booked a room for 2, the hotel staff didn't bother to check how many towels, dental kits etc are there in the room. Towels & bedsheets were soiled and dirty.

Probably one of the best hotels in Kota. Stayed overnight for a business trip and loved everything about this place. The suite esp the black bathroom was gorgeous. Had opted for both dinner and breakfast buffet and loved every single dish they had on offer here. Really loved my stay here.

In general hotel is nice, beautiful, stuff is kind. But for me as a foreigner food was spicy, and they made it less for me. Thats is plus point. Thanks for that! And they had light problem for while, even that is solvable. So it was good stay. I got discomfort because of my next room neighbors, that is the only thing i am disappointed with. So they should apply strict rules for that.

Wonderful place for party, fully renovated

I had booked their banquet hall for my baby's birthday event for around 150 people. Overall it was a mixed experience. The banquet hall in itself was good but the most problematic part was my interaction with their sales manager Mr. Ankur Bhatnagar and the kind of service we were offered during the course of the event. He was the primary contact person for us and I think he is too busy a person to be working in the hospitality industry. He would respond as per his convenience even on the day of the event, no backup contact given in case he is not available, no responsibility taken for all the service lapses during the event. Not listing down all the issues experienced to keep it short, but overall I would recommend this place only to people who are willing to take the extra headache of managing each and everything themselves because the staff would just apologise at the end of the event for their lapses or rather point fingers at each other when you finally shout at them.

STAY AWAY!!!! All rooms reek of cigarette smell. I ordered new set of towels that were damp! Hotel Manager is very rude. Most positive reviews here seem too similar to be true. I would stay away from this hotel.

Overall a good Experience, Nice Place, Don't Expect Ananta Udaipur Standards, Property and Ambience are Good, Service Ok , Food Prepration was awesome. I had High Expectations, as I felt delighted at Ananta Udaipur, The Udaipur Ananta is situated on a hill with cottages at waking distance, and Kota Ananta is a single Building Property. Also small Banquet Hall Available for party of arround 100 person.

Very nice Ambience. Beautiful Rooftop restaurant. A wide variety of food and bar range available although a couple of mocktails mentioned in the menu were not available. The parking facility is nice but may fall short on weekends. The staff is very nice and well behaved. Smoking and drinking is allowed there. Food is delicious. Alcoholic drinks are overpriced but overall the price is reasonable as per the environment. Live music can be heard of average quality. A projector based screen is available generally cricket is being played on it in the IPL season. The rooftop is situated on the 5th floor although the lift will take you to the 4th floor only. Overall I should visit at least once. The environment is family and women friendly.

We went to this place a day after the auspicious occasion of Diwali and we were tolerate with the fact of waiting for half an hour as there was a huge footfall. As we dined in the food service was at snail's pace accompanying bland food which was least expected. For a clan of food connoisseurs they should have given some taste in food. Ordered Tadka Dal which turned out to be Dal Palak, famished enough we ate it without whining. On a positive note, the staff is good and well behaved.
