I am adding this review out of social importance. Recently there have been lot of deaths reported due to people choosing to take bath or enter waterfalls without proper caution... The rocks are slippery and lot of recent deaths reported. Reference: Jan 4th, 2:30PM Polimer News channel. Please do use the falls with extreme caution...

The best place to chill . But swimming is restricted there . Don't take your kids there little bit slippery . Before reaching kodanad on the left u can see a board named sundarty road go through that for 2 kms and the the slope right you can see a sinage board by tamilnadu forest department . You have to talk a walk through the slope . When I went the water was freezing cold and rocks seemed slippery . While going don't go alone go with your friends and enjoy the view . Be careful while reaching the waterfalls . The awesome waterfalls in kothagiri is this sundarty waterfalls . Thankyou

It's surely worth a visit! You can experience a mild hiking too through the trail to the waterfall! Just be cautious of slippery rocks. Sad to see plastics and waste on the way. Whoever visits please try to preserve the nature without dumping the non natural stuffs over there.

A good place to bath and create new memories. Me and my two friends bathed and swam there. The water is really cold even though it was a scorching sunny day. After that we put fire near the waterfalls. This place is great to create some everlasting memories.

Hidden and beautiful waterfalls !! It's not an official tourist spot per se -- hence the falls is rarely crowded ( but safe enough).. One of the rare "bathable" falls in Ooty and accessible in almost all seasons.. The natural pool is well formed with 4-5 feet depth and ideal for swimming ( except during monsoons).. The trek to the falls is bit steep, slippery & takes around 15-20 mins , but it's worth the effort. Kids can trek easily as well - just be little careful with them.. ( hard for elders 60+ ).. Had been to the falls twice in past 10 years and we had a wonderful time on both occasions...!!

The road leading to the point is narrow so We walked from the main road to the trekking point which is about 1 km. Getting down to the falls (which in unsldee forest dept management) is steep with few holds (not recommended for the elderly or people with disabilities). Once you get down, follow the path to the falls. Beautiful views and cool water greets you at the falls. Enjoyed being able to experience a local attraction. No entrance fees

Sundatty Water Falls is a go-to place for people who admire nature. I went there around 7 in the morning. The place was quiet and pleasant I could see rays of sunlight through the mist. The water was gently cold and be careful of slippery rocks and wet areas. You should do a little trekking down the tea farm to reach the spot. Won’t suggest a family visit because the place is quite isolated.

One of the best and adventures hidden spot near Ooty, most recommended spot to enjoy. But need to be more careful, as the rocks are slippery and there is no public to help in case of any emergency.
