Near diyatha uyana. Entrance ticket fee 100/- for wach person. Couples mostly visiting here. Lots of wetland plants planted. Aware about reptiles. Suspended bridges in walking way. Nice observation area. Different type of sky walk area. Well constructed classrooms, canteen, toilets which are clean & tidy bt there is no service in canteen area. Little small area than beddagana wet land park.

This urban wetland park has a nice trail with a watch hut and a few spots to sit and rest along the way, which you can cover in about 30 - 40 minutes. Interestingly, it has a restaurant area, a conference hall, and a couple of classrooms in the middle of the wetland which can be hired for functions including weddings, corporate events and teaching, etc. Activities are allowed in the evening and night as well. You may inquire the landscape division of the UDA for more details. The entrance is located in the Nippon Avenue, just about 150m from the Polduwa Bridge. There's a Rs. 100 entry free for adults and Rs. 50 for teenagers. There's ample parking near the entrance.

I didn’t know this particular park existed and stumbled upon it accidentally. There’s a 100 rupee entrance fee per person and inside the park is a completely different, wetland environment even though it’s a short walking distance to the main road. It’s similar to Beddegana park, but not as extensive to explore. I love the walkways that’s been built and how it blends seamlessly with the natural environment. It’s mostly couples that were at the park when I visited, which is pretty standard. I only wish the walking paths covered more of an area. But I definitely recommend visiting if you want to spend some time in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city without having to travel too far.

This is near th baddagana Wetland Park. The easiest way to go to this is 100 meters on the road under the Battaramulla bridge ( Rampart Road in Sri Jayawardenepura) , . Having a quiet place like this in an urban environment is really worth it. It's really the best place to be free and clear your head.🍃✨🌸 Baddagana Wetland Park 🍀 #Save_the_environment_for_the_future It is a great place to embrace Mother Nature with so much to do such as bird watching and taking a stroll sinking in the beauty surrounding it. It is a naturally beautiful place with artistic landscaping and lush greenery.

Nestled near Diyatha Park, this hidden gem in Colombo is a delightful retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape from the bustling city. My visit here was a refreshing experience, taking about 30-45 minutes to leisurely walk around and immerse in the serene environment. The park is a haven for observing a variety of birds, butterflies, and an array of wetland flora, providing a perfect opportunity to connect with nature in an urban setting. The footpaths are well-maintained and food-friendly, allowing for a comfortable stroll. One of the highlights of this place is its versatility. It can be pre-booked for events and seminars, offering a unique setting that combines natural beauty with convenience. However, it's important to note that for such arrangements, one needs to contact the Urban Development Authority (UDA) for prior booking. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to Colombo, this place is a must-visit for a tranquil and rejuvenating experience amidst nature. Highly recommended for a quick, yet fulfilling, nature break!

Peaceful & calm place Located in the middle of colombo metropolis. This is a place where you can spend free time. A ticket costs around 100 rupees for a local. There are many beautiful locations to take photos.

This is a more valuable place for nature lovers, since a beautiful wetland that is situated in the center of an urban area. Especially, many bird species can be watched in this park. Also the staff of the wetland park are very friendly and the park is well planned. Come and visit this.

Very calm and quiet place next to a very busy Diyatha Uyana. Not a big place like Beddagana. But definitely less crowded and very calm. As usual, perfect for couples.

Good place to visit. But the wetlands, lakes, ponds, birds, etc. are not available compared to Beddagana and Diyasaru wetland parks

Beautiful, calm place but you need careful about your footsteps cz very slippery. There was a woman at the ticket counter. When I coming back she ask about my tickets and got my tickets back. I think its a scam.
