This is my go to place for working after office hours. They have an exceptional upstairs area designed for working. They even have a small library offered for free of charge. The food is priced reasonably. My favorite is their egg salad sandwich 🥪. The coffees are good too. Overall a great place to focus and do your work without loud music and loud chatting. One thing to improve is the upstairs table highest. Table tops are of the same height as the sofa. It's a little difficult to work bending over 💻 🤷🏽‍♂️ They sometimes don't check the orders via WhatsApp + forget to bring your order 😅

So far, the best coffee chain in SL. Reliable. Fair prices. Caring about customers than most of other restaurants. Staff is friendly. Wide variety of coffees, premium meals. They accept cash, card payments, qr payments including frimi. Other than dine in, I Ordered more than 150 times in uber and pickme, all the orders are 100% accurate. Most importantly, i love to see such dedicated people(i mean staff) works there including management. Highly recommended.....

Fair price for good coffee. Lasagna was really good but small portion size. Death of chocolate cake is not that good and never try again. But the cleanliness and vibe around the place is really good . Son giving then 3.5/5 . Things can improve : Portion size

This place has a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. The staff is very friendly and provided excellent service as usual. Absolutely love this coffee shop! It's the perfect spot to chill, get work done, and soak in the fantastic ambiance. The calm environment is a real plus. The food here is not only delicious but also budget-friendly compared to other places. Just a small suggestion: Some tables on the first floor seem a bit unbalanced due to a power line. It would be great if that could be addressed. Overall, highly recommended!

It is a really pleasant cafe to visit because it is really clean and has a good vibe all around it. 🍃 There is no doubt that a good coffee ☕️ can be had for a fair price. I found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. Not only were the menu items interesting, 🍽️ but the quality of the food was excellent - and the croissants were especially delicious! In addition, the barista was extremely courteous and helpful, making me feel welcome. 🙏🏻 They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Cool place with a good vibe inside. Went in a day time so I had no mood for a coffee but tried some fizzy drinks. Lemon fizz and Green apple fizz. They were awesome and refreshing. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Gonna visit again to try some from their coffee menu.

One of the best coffee stops in Colombo. I used to come here since its Commencement and they never disappointed me in any aspect. Quality of food n beverages are over par than the most of the high end places in the city. Staff is professional and service is excellent.

We went to Barista Thalawathugoda for breakfast and it was a lovely experience. Service was good as always they have been. I ordered a spiced egg bagel and wife ordered a blueberry muffin. Both tasted nice. We stayed at outside( smoking area) since both of us love natural air.

We went for brunch, it was good and some dishes were average but to spend the time it was good place. If you want to go for coffee out or relaxing this was good place. But 1st floor was sometimes closed and warm but it was good for relaxing if you ask them to turn on the A/C

Food and service was okay. But the place is super small and not enough parking to be honest. Nutella Milkshake had barely any Nutella and we couldn't even taste it. It was more like a vanilla milk shake.

This is one of the places that I go to work. It has 2 floors and plenty of room. A nice place to come and relax as well, since they have a lot of books that you can just pick up and read. The staff here is very friendly. I usually come here when I want to focus or when there are powercuts at home.

I highly recommend it. Their coffees and shakes are so very delicious. Portions are also pretty good. The atmosphere is very nice and their upstair area with books is a nice place to relax on your own. Very handy to get some work done with a much needed coffee.

Staff is very nice and attentive to your requests. Has a great ambience for working. Better bring your own wifi. Didn't try theirs, but read somewhere in the reviews that it's a tad bit slow.

I usually order through PickMe and Uber eats. The food is amazing. The ham and cheese croissant/ ham and cheese sandwich/ teriyaki chicken meal are some of my favorites. The lunch meal with drink has become really expensive. Now it’s 1000/- earlier it was around 600/- The drinks are really expensive and when ordering feels like the cup size is small. So you don’t get the actual drink size when you dine in. Please consider this and revise prices.

Very noisy environment and music played loud. I believe it is for the staff's benefit. We had a business cum coffee meeting and definitely the senior supervisor seemed not to care he was seated in the front by the window and he was oblivious to the customers around. Customers were going through the sliding doors to the rear to smoke and leaving the door ajar, which heated the place up. Suggest a sliding door closer. An awful experience.

All aspects are good but compared to other locations WIFI is really poor. PPl who work from coffee shops should bring your own WIFI if need good speed.

Out of all the barista outlets thalawathugoda outlet is very friendly and homely mainly cause of the amazing service provided by the manager Abhishek and all the staff members. Highly recommended for a relaxing time with friends and family and even for solo dates. Simply it is a place that brings everyone from different walks of life together to create many memories. The food and beverages are very affordable and delicious as well.
