Last year, during my visit to Sri Lanka, I acquired a copy of "පිරුවානා පොත් වහන්සේ" to read at my leisure. Today, while browsing through page XII, I was taken aback by content that seemed to present views contradicting Theravada Buddhism. I noticed suggestions that the "සතරවරම් දෙවිවරු" might have been historical human figures. I hope this can be reviewed and addressed in future editions.

Never order online from this because it is a very irresponsible book store.they told me that, they deliver within 2days.I ordered 5 books one week ago.but the order was not placed untill the required date.They didn't even inform us about it untill we called & asked.very poor service.

This centre prints and sells books focusing more on promoting Buddhism and enabling the Buddhists with less income to buy books rather than having profit motives. They can locate your requests within seconds in this vast store. Centre's own publications are very reasonably priced. Its city store near Thunmulla junction is equally impressive.

This is my go to place for Buddhist and History Books. By far the best in its kind. It is a knowledge store rather than a book store. The staff are very helpful and the books are priced reasonably. If you visit, even without the interest in religion in any way, you will find something for you at this place.
