    I started with Resistance in December 2021 & when I was starting I was at 99.8kg. With less than 2 months of training with Shaqir I was able to reduce 12kg. Resistance is that one gym I’d recommend anyone who are seeking for a proper NO JOKES GYM. 💪🏽

    I started my fitness journey with resistance and saw myself getting better physically and mentally. The trainers in resistances are very hands on and guided me every step of the way. Thanks to them I went from having a unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy one and lost 8kgs.

    I am a U19 player and I play first class cricket at NCC It’s been 2 and half months since I joined resistance gym and I have seen progress in all aspects of my game whether it’s fitness or strength and condition. I have seen progress in my deadlifts and squats it’s been really helpful as a professional cricketer and I really recommend resistance for everyone out there ⚡️

    Hands down, the best choice I’ve made is training at Resistance. I started training under very knowledgeable and supportive trainer K. Gowtham, the experience was exceptional. 🤩 I would have stopped at one squat, but he kept encouraging and pushing me to do better 🙏🏻😇 Now I can do more..!! His effort to make me fit is awesome. His words of encouragement inspired me during difficult times. I am blessed to be trained under him. Thanks for being patient with my progress, encouraging and inspiring 💫💐 Highly recommended for those who seek for a real transformation in your body and mind 🤩

    I started resistance after tearing my acl in my knee due to a football injury and needed to start rehabilitation. Then I was guided by my personal trainer Ashok who is helping me to get my knee back to 100% and make sure I will be able to lead a normal life again and even become the best athlete i possibly can. The gym is surrounded by positivity with my trainer and other trainers too who push you to become the best version of yourself while doing it in the safest way possible. I have been in rehab for the past 3 months now and I can genuinely say it has been life changing as not only was I able to walk and run again after only 2 months but I have also been able to reduce 10kg just by following their program and maintaining the diet they provide me with. By keeping this up I have been told that I can start playing football again at the end of this year and I just cannot contain my smile when i am at the gym everyday working my butt off knowing I am improving myself day by day ♥️.

    I have been attending Resistance Gym for the past four months and have had an exceptional experience. Led by the knowledgeable and supportive trainer Ashok, I have managed to lose around 7-8 kg. The gym environment is welcoming and motivating, with friendly staff who feel like family.     Join this gym if you really wanna commit and see genuine results in the effort you put in, you can't ask for a better set of trainers.... they offer group training and personal training and they make the program on an individual basis that's best fit for you, even if you are a beginner or an experienced athlete their program will really push you to your absolute best and give you the best possible result. Highly recommend this gym..really changed my life for the better ⚡️⚡️⚡️

    This place has a positive vibe; Trainer K. Gowtham is very understanding, and most importantly, no body shaming and easy-to-cook nutrient food. For the past few months, I have had a blast in the gym and something I look forward to four times a week. My body and mind feel great. Thank you for pushing me to do better. ✌️

    I joined resistance 3 months ago I was not even able to do a pull up its was really affecting my game as i play cricket now i have really good improvements with a great coach and even better motivator resistance is the perfect place for athletes and any individual who wants to achieve their goals.⚡

    I have been doing a three times weekly online training with Resistance for half a year know and I can 100% recommend. Shaqir brings energy and dedication to the session that is beyond compare. Training with Resistance pushed my boundaries, helped me to achieve my goals and ensured that I had fun in the process!!

    Coming from an athlete’s perspective, I believe this is the best gym you could find in Colombo. It’s not your typical gym with many machines but one with so much space and every equipment that a sportsman needs to train himself to achieve his goals. The trainers will consult you 24/7 and make sure that you take your level of playing to the next level in the shortest time possible.

    Joined here recently. Actually a fantastic gym with knowledgeable,motivating and friendly trainers which help all the members to reach their fitness goals and to stay healthy. By far the best gym around. Resistance is an awesome place.

    Best gym with some amazing trainers. This is my first time coming to a gym and from the start they made me feel like wanting to come everyday. Starting from the basics and proper technique they helped me from the start. I recommend this to everyone who wants to learn the basics and techniques properly and start their new fitness journey.

    Resistance Gym and their trainers are definitely one of the best in the country. These guys know their way around both the gym and people. Would even make the laziest get outta bed to workout! These guys keep you motivated and inspired all the time. If you need a personal trainer or group training session do try them out, rest assured you would always come back!     On my first day at Resistance Gym, I was instructed to do push-ups and pull-ups. Initially, I struggled and could only manage one pull-up, and my push-up form was incorrect. However, after attending Resistance Gym for the past three months, my experience has been exceptional. With Trainer Gowtham's guidance, I have made significant progress. I can now perform 6-7 pull-ups and push-ups with proper form. Additionally, I have successfully lost around 5-6kg. The gym's environment is welcoming and motivating, and the supportive staff members, including Shakir, Ashok, Durryan, and Infaz, have been invaluable. Gowtham's personal support, along with the dedication of the other trainers, has played a crucial role in my physical and mental fitness journey. Gowtham stands out for his exceptional care and support. The gym is well-equipped and well-maintained, although they mostly avoid using air conditioning. They believe that training without it is beneficial. Overall, I highly recommend Resistance Gym to anyone seeking a transformative fitness experience.

    I used Resistance Gym, Colombo whilst on holiday in Sri Lanka for a few weeks. Highly recommended this gym , the trainers know what they are talking about. My goal was to improve my endurance and strength,which I found increased since using this gym + coach. I will use this gym on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

    The most satisfied service and positive approach. very good gym with result orientated exercises. Instantly picked up on the level of my fitness and adjusted the workout to suite me while pushing me to my limits. Very motivating and inspirational , easy to communicate with and most reliable for all types and athletes! having living in london and visiting srilanka and being at resistance gym has been the best experience so far and highly recommended!
