Very worst experience. Don't believe the ratings and reviews in Google. They may be paid reviews. I recently stayed there and below average property. Rooms are like the 10th century build. Dirt and dust everywhere. No intercom to call reception and restaurant. Only one item was served per course meal. Example if you prefer bread for breakfast, they will serve only bread, no other choices. Not worth for the money. Family members got very disappointed. Simply we can call boozer's paradise, since at nights people will keep knock your door. Family travellers please avoid this for sure. I am adding photos too.

We checked this hotel in a booking site but then we called and inquired about the rooms and prices. From that point onward, we had a good impression on the hotel. The operator was very calm when taking our booking. Even though we called few times to clarify somethings, they replied very calmly. We were on an impression that this hotel won't be clean and will be uncomfortable for us but after entering to the hotel premises, it caught all the attention. The Garden was so beautiful with it's plants and flowers. After we entered the room, the first thing i wanted to check was the washrooms. They were well maintained, spacious and very clean. The room had heaters, fridge, cable tv with a large double bed and it made me feel more comfortable We booked as BB for two days and the Breakfast had no artificial flavors which impressed us. The staff was very friendly with us and freely gave guidance tips to visit the attractions. The hospitality was at it best! Please do visit this Hotel if you are searching a reasonable price ranged Hotels in Nuwara Eliya!

My foreigner friends and I informed this hotel before we were coming. But no one was there to accept us. The next day we were going to Horton Plains at 05.00 am and asked them to pack breakfast for us. But they didn't. We left for Horton Plains at 4.55. At least we didn't have a bottle of water. So, foreign friends, don't go to this hotel. I say these things with responsibility.

We spent one night here and glad we did only one! Service was good and the food was good. We booked a super deluxe which was a few bucks more. Wasn’t worth the pay at all as we had to climb up the second floor carrying stuff. Carpets were dirty with and water wasn’t consistent. Water heater wasn’t working as well. Wouldn’t recommend this place as there are many better places around with better facilities for more decent pricing.

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tea Bush Hotel in Nuwara Eliya and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and exudes a sense of calm and tranquility, which is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby each night. The highlight of my stay, however, was definitely the food. The restaurant serves up delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, as well as a range of international dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience at Tea Bush Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Nuwara Eliya."

Beautiful eyesight surrounded by Gregory lake view from front and tea bush Mount from its behind. Ample parking space for vehicles and greenish garden to walk is available. More than that you will meet beautiful people there, especially Ajith who is the manager. We were delighted during the entire journey at Nuwaraeliya even though we had delayed our train for 3 hours. These hospitable staff were there to welcome even at 9.00pm. We were planning to go there by 4.30. Delicious foods we had, transport facilities arranged when we needed. It's a great vacation for us because of this hotel...thanks everyone...

Cozy room with clean linen and bath towels. It has the view of Gregory lake from far. It was a old colonial tea state bungalow built ages back, however they refactored without harming the original design. Rooms are not sound proof. They have enough parking. Restaurant were closed on the day I went. Staff is very friendly. Downside is their view blocked by Araliya red hotel.

This is a hidden gem in nuwara eliya.. an old colonial tea estate bungalow converted to a cozy little boutique hotel.. We got a comfy little room overlooking Piduruthalagama mountain.. had our own private courtyard with garden chairs to sip a glass of wine in the evening enjoying the mist .. staff was very polite and accommodating.. can't comment on food as we went on room only basis.. clean bathrooms with hot water.. suprr close to the city center but still a calm surrounding as the hotel is situated in the uphill. definitely worth the price we spent for our 2 night stay..

We visited this hotel for breakfast and lunch and celebrated our daughters birthday there while our family trip to nuwaraeliya. I have contacted them two weeks before the visit and asked them whether we can celebrate our daughters birthday and take breakfast and lunch. They agreed and kept contacts by email and phone calls untill we leave the place. We requested pure vegetarian and non veg meals together and they arranged it well beyond our expected level.. very helpful and understanding staff.

Visited here early November 2022 after 20 years. The food and service was good. The staff there are really nice too. But what put me off was when I booked a room I expected the room to be in the main bungalow but instead it was in a completely different building 3rd floor. And the room was just worn off and the carpet was Soo dirty with stain patches everywhere. I didn't make a fuss to the staff as it was just one night and I checked out at 10am the next day. I expected that homely I got 20 years ago. But sadly the place needs a good uplifting. The bed was comfy though.

Cute place. Very nice terrace and view. Tasty food. Polite people. Rooms are stuck in 80's, water is or freezing cold or boiling hot and equipment is basic. We were (literally) only guests in the hotel that night, so it was a bit spooky.
