It's the old Cricket ground in moratuwa still the same no improvement the school children practice and morning traning done by coaches the toilet are not good lots of dogs and cats all over taps are broken .This ground need a great attention and if they do it my this government its will be lovely.

The ground was later upgraded to international cricket standards, and formaly is known as Tyronne Fernando Stadium located in කටුබැද්ද, moratuwa.

Great place for Meets.

One of the best grounds in Colombo suburbs, but, nothing improved from 90s. Must bring few tour games at least, women's internationals, schools finals etc.., and give something better to passionate crowd of Moratuwa.

Excellent place for sports

The ground is also known as the Tyrone Fernando stadium and use to be one of the best grounds around in the area . The ground was actually an international stadium where Sanath Jayasuriya has his best one day bowling figures against England 6/29 in 92/93, where Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets. The ground is mainly used for Premiere League matches,division 3 and school matches. The ground is popular for hosting the St Sebastians vs Prince of Wales big match. There are a few outdoor practice nets and also an indoor net facility which consists of 3 nets. Sadly due to poor management times are not maintained adequately.

This is a good cricket ground. But administration must be care regarding this place before situation get wors.

Internationl Cricket ground but not maintain properly

Not having enough parking is the biggest problem. Next is the basic facilities for players and spectators which is very poorly maintained. This used to be an international ground but sad to see it's position now.

International cricket ground situated in moratuwa. Even many schools hold their sportsmeet there. But facilities are a bit old. Pavilion seating is also old, not modified upto current standards. Anyhow situated at a very convenient location near katubedda junction by the side of galle road.

One of most famous and old cricket stadium in Sri Lanka. Now use to host domestic and school cricket matches. Has to improve some facilities.

People use early mornings and late evenings for their physical fitness.. But can have cricket 🏏 matches with prior bookings

Formerly Tyrone Fernando Cricket stadium. There's a gym as well. Can buy food in the evenings from the restaurant at the pavilion.
