Only Mall in Kottayam...🥲 This one is not a great mall as only 2 floors are functioning.Top 2 floors are vaccant. Joy Alukkas, Jolly silks, super market,watch shop, bag and shoe shop, Bakery. These much shops are only there... Nothing is there to attract or entertain. You can visit here only for shopping.Thats why most of the time this mall is empty...😔

When I compare this mall with the place it is situated then I'd say that this is not such a bad mall after all as the way it is set up is extra ordinary. The best part that I love about this is the free and spacious parking for the mall customers. This mall is worth the first visit!

The first Mall in Kottayam Mall of Joy Kottayam is a great shopping destination that offers a Limited range of stores and products to choose from. The mall is clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes shopping a delightful experience. The food from Joy mall cafe was good. and there are entertainment options as well. The ground space is good enough to conduct event, program/ flash mob etc. The staff is friendly and helpful, and parking is easy to find. Please exercise caution when turning onto or off of the main road to ensure your safety and the safety of others Overall, Mall of Joy Kottayam is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a fun day out.

It's the biggest shopping mall in kottayam. Though it doesn't have many branded shops, there are some good options for clothing like Park Avenue and Mufti for men. Then there is Jolly silks. There are some mobile stores and electronic gadget shops inside the mall. There are two exclusive samsung stores. There is also a lenovo laptop store. Apart from this,there is a DC books store for books and toys. The mall also has a hypermarket at the top which is good for grocery shopping. They have a few cafés inside the mall. Baker's Cafe is a good option, so is baskin Robin's for icecream . At the time of writing, the food court was under renovation. Overall, it's a good place to hang out with friends for a while. Mall of Joy is located at the heart of Kottayam town, close to Baker Hill. This is the biggest shopping mall at Kottayam town.. There is a big super market & many outlets of branded textiles, jewelry, book shops, restaurant etc. functioning inside the complex. However, there is no Cinema hall in the building. There is sufficient car / 2 wheeler parking spaces at the cellar of the building.

I used to be a happy customer at mall of joy until an awful experience I had last month. The experience I have had to face changed my opinion about the place. Just like any previous visits to the place, I was so stocked and excited to get there, but the experience went awry in a moments notice. I got to the place with a couple of my friends. We've been of the belief that the place was open to all, and whether they want to shop or not is out of the question. But if they have this "customers only" policy, then they should have made it clear via a sign board or something. At first we went shopping but couldn't find the specific product we were looking for, so we decided to just take a stroll around the place, but soon we noticed that a janitor was trailing us in a much creepy way. Being tired of this behaviour from an employee we decided to exit the place; but things didn't end there. As we headed out, one of my friends stopped at the ATM, so the rest of us just stood there waiting. A guard who saw us hanging out, came rushing, shouting at us, asking us, what were we doing inside. He didn't even wait for a reply and went on yelling at us that if we don't have anything to buy from inside, don't we ever dare coming back and that this place is not for public display and don't hang out here anymore... This experience now has a real bad impression on our minds.

It is a dead place. There is no vibe or life inside it. The word Mall of Joy have to be changed to some other name which is more apt. I visited MOJ back in 2017, the whole place was packed. Fully active. There used to be a restaurant on the top floor ( must say, the food was too good).

Partially closed due to covid rise in Kottayam. Most of the shops are closed , some clothing shops including jolly silks and joy mart is only open currently

Mall Of joy is located in the middle of kottayam town at Baker junction just few walkable meters from CMS college.Only 2-3 floors of the mall is occupied and functioning.The half of two floors are occupied by jolly silks. A super market(joy Mart),Small cafe with limited varieties of cold&hotbeverages,snacks(Baker cafe),Polonica beauty parlor,Vismay clothing,Joy alukkas,a watch showroom,An opticals,bag-purse and foot wear showrooms,mobile accessories&repair shops,Jockey showroom etc are only functioning now in 2 to 3 (basement,first&second) floors and the rest of upstairs floors are vacant without functioning. The mall is cleanly maintained,quite and calm atmosphere.For basic Needs/requirements and for the time pass short exploration the mall is best👍.. ATM,Parking,Escalator&lift facilities are available 😀 Hope the mall develop&fills the Kottayam with EnJoyment & JOY in future😍

The mall is Nice, But Please provide some chairs or benches for genuine customers ,it's so sad that we have to come back to the car to sit. After spending hours with family. You can open food court and children play area on the top floor things will change. Footfall will definitely go up.

Nice construction.But no Medical shop there ..if available ready to rate 5 star. Basis need to improve .

Super market was good. Quality products.. less crowded shopping Mall.. Bake cafe was good. Juices and sandwich was good.. very calm and quiet place.. compare with other shopping malls, shops was very less.... Good selection for Dress items... Staff was also Good...

There aren't many shops. There isn't any food court. Just 1 eatery which was too small with limited options to choose from. Doesn't have a mall experience. Only good to go if you want to buy something specific from any of the shops. Not a place to hang out. Parking space available.

Now the shops directly by Joy mall is getting better. A good super market, a good cafe and bakery. Ofcourse good jewellery. And some stores for mobile, watches, toys, Spects, eye testing, footwear and bags, Boutique.

Parking is a plus here. The supermarket here has to stock more items. Few shops have shut down. Well maintained clean and hygienic conditions. I have given one star because they don't have a functional restaurant here.

This mall have very limited shops like one Jewelry, clothing, foot wear, mobile, grocery, watch and coffe shops etc.. This place is not crowded at all. The cafeteria at the ground floor is a nice one with many options for drinks and eatables both dine in and take out options are available. Grocery shop is a good one with few vegetables ad well (no meat and fish). Good parking space, ATM machines for those who planned for shopping are available. Its not crowded as well so anyome can visit the place and spend some time with a good coffee and some snacks without worrying about the car parking, then some grocery shopping / cloths/ jewelry ....

Mall of Joy is a not so bad place tbh. A nice shopping complex. It has a variety of stores, most of them are of the group that owns this place btw. Still not bad. It has clothing stores, a jewelry store, a supermarket and many more.....

Actually it is not Mall of Joy anymore, it has become Jolly Silks. Only a few shops are there now and only 2 floors are occupied. Maybe they should find some way to bring it back to life, since it's the only Mall in Kottayam.

As there are no malls for Kottayam people it's definitely an option. But this is not actually a mall compared to the classic ones. It only has joy super market,jolly silks,.joy jewelry shop , watch shop and a bakery . Nothing special.

I am not going to extend this review . Mall of joy is an average shopping mall. Nothing to impress you from architecture to shopping shops.Average yet convenient. The way it is build might catch your eye only if you are in the top. Elevators are spacious. Parking is spacious.Not at all crowded. The inside of mall is not that spacious when in crowded times its gonna be very difficult.There is no place to sit unlike others malls in ernakulam. Not even a single area /bench . It is very hard to spot the rest room sign boards are wrong and crazy. One cannot compare it with the malls of ernakulam. One can tell its a average mall of joy.

In the heart of Kottayam and a finely constructed mall with ample parking space but there isn't just any entertainment or shops that can really pull crowds. A theatre, some food joints, places for leisure all can add more people in.

This review related to bakery only. Yesterday I ordered brownie piece cakes, hoping they will maintain the same quality as before. But the item was not at all fresh, hard & seems older more than couple of days. Waste of money.

Small Mall with the beauty of Joy's outlets (Alukkas) and few other shops. A 5star style Resturant, kids gaming area with 14D dynamic theater.. all at affordable rate also a good good to visit daily supermarket. Well maintained, clean, lots of security guards and staffs, Parking space. Etc. at Town center.

The one and only so called Mall in the town of kottayam. But it was a failure in terms of being a proper mall. You can call it a mini mall . But you can't find any theatre , any food court ,etc which made it less attractive. The only thing functional currently in this building is only the supermarket called Joy mart and a Joy alukkas jewellery and Jolly Silks and a couple of shops in the ground floor. There are news coming up like theaters are under construction on the top floor of the building. You can amble amount space for parking. The supermarket is a good one with amble amount of stock and a variety of items. The total infrastructure done is just top class and maintained well. It wasn't a success only because of improper planning and a bit overly 'joyfication' in each and every store inside.

Baker café at mall of joy! A good cafe with some good items. Have a wide variety of sweets, sandwiches, burgers, muffins and juices with shakes available. Price seems reasonable and both quality and quantity is good though.

That was my first time in Mall of Koy. It was a good experience. Good ambience and spacious.

Very poor mall. The parking area was the only saving grace. The jolly silks had a sale , so that was attractive. Else very less shops. No benches or waiting areas and other amenities. As compared to lulu, it is in a very sad state.

The security guard standing at the front was very rude and was showing his aggression on the customers. I genuinely came into the mall after 6 months expecting the services to be better. But if this is the case the experience at mall of joy kottayam is and will become worse . Thanks

Its a nice place. But we had a bad experience from clothing store. We bought couple of items from store but we havent got one shirt when we checked in home. Actually i make sure with them i hope every thing in pack and they said 'yes'. Same day we flew back. Soi havent got chance to follow up.

Before the pandemic, it was a lovely mall as it was always buzzing with students and youngsters. But post pandemic, many of the shops inside has relocated making 3 of the top floors vacated and empty. Now the vibe is just not right. Hope it improves.

The in charge of supermarket behaved so badly and rudely for a piece of wrapper broken by my child price199 , if you could not behave properly to anybody you have no right to give service to people publicly. He called us thieves tried to say things so abruptly we have shopped all our time from mall of joy could lakhs of rupees of purchase and never expected this from them. Its not about money its about behaviour !! try training your in charge or whoever it was !! The guards there are outstanding plus staff upstairs are well behaved !!

Not too much crowded.most of the shops are closed.but the mall still maintaining its standard.good car parking facility.and good and clean atmosphere.if you go to the mall you can have everything a to z for a family from one place. The mall is situated at the heart of Kottayam town.

Mall looks like ok. Clean and neat. But the toilets need a little bit standardisation. No wipes or hand dryer available after hand wash.
