Best beach, clean and long. We almost spent 7 years of our life living close to this beach, hearing the sea waves sound at night and enjoying the morning and evening walks. Also the clam time whiling with relatives and friends.

We went for sunset, the beach is clean and calm. Beautiful beach, less crowded than other Beaches in Chennai. You can enjoy the amazing sunrise and sunset view. Lovely place for relaxing with your family and friends. I have gone for 1st time and Feels like should visit again & again. It would probably be a good idea if you are visiting this beach on a weekday.

Best place for people who want to see the Sunrise and fresh morning walk or evening to chill out with friends, it's not so crowded, very peaceful & secured beach. I highly recommend this place....

This place is among the tourist attractions but if you want that peace and calmness and want to just relax with your partner, family or just by yourself then this is the place to go to. You will find local eateries nearby as well as a shawarma place. Enjoy your day!🫶

Much neater and cleaner beach compared to the rest in Chennai. Quite safe locale and a good place for walking and jogging. Pet friendly spot.

The best beach in the city. Very clean and well maintained. Try visiting it after 9PM when all shops are closed. The crowd will be less and you can have a peaceful time. Suitable for families as well at that time. If going for snacks, a pani puri shop is famous over there. Must try!

A personal favourite! The distance between the land and water is less thus making it easier to reach the water. The beach is clean compared to other beaches in the city & less shops and less couples, which I totally prefer. Hope this place stays the same!

Sadly, just when the Omicron variant of the coronavirus is beginning to rear it's ugly head and there are signs of infections exploding, people have abandoned masks. Those begging approach you and come very close, and none has a mask, risking themselves, and those they approach. Fortunately, given it was Monday, there weren't too many people, and it quickly began to empty as it closer to 10 PM. On the positive side, there wasn't much litter.

A decent beach with ample bike parking. You have a food street nearby where you can buy food at a budget.

I loved it. It is a nice place and family can roaming around with kids. Unlike other beach it has enough parking area and peaceful.

Good small beach. I have not seen much crowd there. Residential area is very close to beach. I don't think there is anything for accessibility. We can go a bit outside to find shops. By the way there are some boats there. There were fierce dogs. I was shared of them.

Relatively free during the day. It gets a little crowded in the evenings. Gets very crowded on weekends. Fairly clean place with ample seating and some small trees for shade.

Very good beach to visit with family and kids. When you go with Family try to stay in the area where light is visible. Lovers will disturb you if you go to the dark places. Try to get butter milk from more thatha. Visit after 8 pm to avoid crowd and have some peaceful time during weekdays. Weekends car is not allowed on the road to beach. Have to park and walk for 200-300mts.

Very calm and suitable for family as there is a police booth located right at the beach. Less crowded gives space to enjoy the sea breeze. Best beach for families to visit on New year eve as there will be full police protection and guidence throughout. 'More Thatha' is icing on the cake. Must taste if you visit this place.

This area is being used for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler driving test. Those cones for 2 wheeler will be placed 4 feet apart. It is moreover a pleasant pleasant place to walk since it's just near beach.

A very good and nicely maintained beach in Ecr stretch. The best maintained beach in Ecr stretch. Can spend good quality time in evening with cool breeze. There are ample amount of benches. Also there are many eateries shop, the items are also tasty. Best time is to go in evening and relax the nature, enjoy cool breeze and have the eatables around it.

Very nice beach and can enjoy the environment. But it is dangerous to go into water even prohibited by police warning. On the paralel road cement benches are available to sit and watch or take rest after a long walk. Could have provided shades in case of rain.

The route to access beach is narrow and the beach and some roads accessing the beach doesn't have much of light fitting so night time enjoyment isn't similar to Marina or Bessy. There are some shops for food games etc, the shore breadth is smaller compared to either of later ones. It's short walk, clean well maintained and good to enjoy in morning and evening with family.

Nice. But, still it can be maintained neatly if Corporation of Chennai decides. The climate is excellent and one would be able to spend good time.

It's more than three decades... I have witnessed the beach slowly getting commercialized. Earlier: Pure sand Olive Ridley used to hatch eggs Can find Catamaran & Small Boats Green carpet of Weeds Good amount of free space Play football, volleyball, practice karate etc., Very clean without any plastic waste Now: Not so pure sand No Olive ridley's Traffic congestion, Parking congestion Too much of people Plastic wastes and other wastes found despite regular cleaning All these days one thing never changed is my love for this beach. Still it's good for morning walk. A very good walkway is provided. A well managed walking association is actively working towards the integrity of beach. Kids are still getting excited to play in this beach. It's our turn to actually give it back to beach, by keeping it clean, traffic free and pollution free.
