Good place for conducting all kinds get togethers and for having food. Neatly maintained area especially the restrooms kept clean. We booked the open area for our family get together and it was really a good experience. The food provided was really great, especially the pepper and normal barbeques. Dessert was also very nice. The staff were very friendly and polite. Overall a great experience and highly recommend for a try especially during this pandemic situation where you can be with your loved ones safely.

The restaurant is not up to mark like his name. The behaviour of staff is not good and you have to wait atleast 1 hour after order your lunch. In a big dinning hall they provide single a.c neither roof fan nor toofan fan.

Good Ambience, Nice food. Arrived late at 10 pm, even though they given all those items we ordered. Special thanks to Asokan chettan, their staff... He is so dedicated and customer friendly..

This is the second time in Taste of Kerala with an "Hmmm... Okay" experience. First had chicken biriyani which was ok with less quantity. Today we ordered the below. Hot N Sour Chicken Soup (150) - Tasted like fish curry French Fries (100)- OK kerala Porotta (25)- Fine. But not fine for the price Chicken and Pineapple salad (200)- Good Fresh Lime (30) - It was a just a glass of cold water with a drop of lemon. Al Faham 1/2 (275) - Good Dhahi Murgh Kebab (250) - OK The property is really good BTW. But again... you wanna try it? hmmmm okayy...

Hello all Am Visited this hotel by reference of my car dirver. And his suggestion was too truly The atmosphere around the hotel is awesome. We ordered butter chicken, chapati both are too yummy. Specially chapati is Very soft and teasty. We also also ordered snapper fish deep fry that was my first fish i hve ever eat other than paplet. We also ordered chicken macho soup that is also yummy. Also have some drink like fresh lime soda and Mint leaf lime soda We spent around 1340 rs for 3 person and its worth for spending 1340 for lunch

One of the good dining place near Kovalam. The place is big and has ample sitting available. There are varieties of veg and non veg food options available. We mainly tried 3 different types of fish curries, fish fry and Chicken chettinadu. Overall the taste was very good and we loved the authentic Kerala style cooking. You can come by for at least one meal here while in Kovalam.

It was our last on trip to Trivandrum last Wednesday and before heading towards aiport we had lunch here. Everything we ordered tasted awesome and the service by Sharath was really great.

I want to give zero star. Worst food ever. There are too many insect in rice. Waiter behaviour is very bad. Not talking properly. Even manager is also rude and nonsense. Dal dry taste is very bad. When I am telling that insect in rice so they told me don’t eat and go. Very rudely behaviour.

Very disappointed. We ordered 2 soups, 2 starters and 2 main course. Except soups and a starter, rest all dishes were flop. Especially the chicken dishes were very bad in taste and too much salt. Even the juices were bad. Mosambi juice was bitter and mint in mint lime was kind of odd. Overall I felt it was waste of money. They have good parking space. Ambience is good. Toilets are clean. But that's not the primary purpose of visiting restaurant.

Our friends came to know about meen pollichadthu, the way saju waiter bro took us explained the fish varieties and its method of prep was amazing and definitely one of the best place at Kovalam for vegetarians too for panner dishes!

The food here is just amazing and the service good. The ambiance is great and the place is managed well. You can tell the quality of ingredients is good and you can feel safe to eat and travel. The staff is really friendly and can guide you in right direction once they know your requirements. They have ample parking spots so carrying our own vehicle is possible.

We coincidentally visited this place, had no idea it would turn out to be great culinary experience in Thiruvananthapuram Located close to the kovalam beach, the place offers both indoor and outdoor seating a long menu that has your regular North Indian curries but also the authentic Kerala dishes. The seafood sadhya is a recommended dish We also tried the Kerala style fish curry, chicken curry, methi paneer, gobhi manchurian and the Kerala parota. Food is fresh and prepared with mild spices. The prices are reasonable Would recommend this to all looking for a good spot in Kovalam/ Thiruvananthapuram

We had our school friends get together in Taste of Kerala , Kovalam . What a fantastic experience . Great food and Excellent service . Wonderful ambience and ample parking space . All of us enjoyed the “Samudra Sadhya “ which can’t be missed out there . Staffs are very friendly and provided attentive service. I had visited thrice in my short vacation and really had a great time over there . Strongly recommended the seafood . I bet you won’t be disappointed.👍👍 Thanks to the entire team and I wish all the very best .

Authentic south indian food served on banana leaf. The quality and quantity of food is good. Ambience is also fine. Service is good and polite. Had veg thali and also ordered chinese. Both the cuisines were good. The price is very reasonable, its overall a budget restaurant. Recommend for authentic local food. Overall a good experience.

We went for a late lunch and the food was delicious. Chatta chicken biryani, large fish Tali, beef masala, pomfret fish all very nice. Clean and hospitable place. There was a dedicated server for our table. We will be back. :)

Food: I'd definitely try the butter crab . The fish dishes were the best I've had in the area. This place is a recommendation from the locals. The atmosphere is nice for families or large groups of people. If you are sitting outdoors, definitely opt for agarbatii to shu away mosquitos and ask them to turn on the overhead fans. The only real downside is the order time took a bit longer than expected. I would remind the waiter every 20 mins or so.

Saw this place while coming back from Kovalam beach in the morning (around 10-10.30). Looked all fancy but once the food came it was just average. Their breakfast menu is not even a menu, they just say by mouth dosa, aalo poori and one more item. That’s it. Only 3 categories of food for breakfast. Seating- inside outside both (breakfast seating is mostly outside). We ordered two dosa and aaloo poori. I like aaloo poori and dosa was just ok. Food was mostly bland , 3/5. Lunch dinner menus may be good but breakfast totally average. Menu other wise looks good specially for fish and non veg items, can try that.

Very healthy and tasty thali we found in kovalam. Food is ample and service is impeccable. Meena our waitress took care of us and made us feel comfortable with her service. The staff are courteous and provide hospitality. The place is very ambient and has a great vibe of a typical Malayali restaurant.

3 or 4 people can easily share a single samudrasadya that costs around 1100₹... It consists of a large bowl rice and and so many see food dishes in a palette.

If you are a sea food enthusiast and you are in trivandrum , kerala, you should definitely visit taste of kerala restaurant in kovalam trivandrum. You get a wide variety of sea food delicacies and their specialty is the "samurai sadhya" where you are served in a single plate prawns fry, fish fry, fish thoran, squid masala, fish pickle, crab, anchovies fry , prawan chammanthi podi, etc...it is sufficient for 2-3 people and depends on how hungry you are!!. They also have normal veg thali meals and non-veg fish curry meals. They also serve Chinese and continental dishes, however it is best for authentic kerala style sea food preparations in fry, curry and baked in banana leaf. The waiters offer excellent service and special mention of Mr. Ashokan who offered us wonderful service. Their lunch is available from 11:30 to 3:00, however by 1:30, you will find difficuly in finding a seating space because of the huge rush of customers.

very tasty cuisine, food was very light and many varieties, Samudra samayal was awesome, ambience of the hotel also is too good. Good experience the dishes of Kerala for the first time with family.
