A classic of Hong Kong architecture by Jose Lei. Interesting blocky shapes and shadows for nice pictures.

I visited Hong Kong Cultural Centre because they were hosting the Hong Kong International Film Festival. It is a clean, organized and well equipped centre, with a huge theater where they screen films and hold conferences. They also have a bookstore and a Starbucks inside, and in the dame centre there are other cafés and bars to have a bite or simply a drink. Outside the views are astounishing, having the Kowloon bay in front of you and seeing Central district in the other shore. At night it well deserves a visit to enjoy the festival of lights and the skyline.

I haven't been to the HK Cultural Center for many years. I am happy to be there again . The Concert Hall is one of the best in HK. I have enjoyed a wonderful concert on Friday night.

The buiding is very nice. There are so many spots for taking picture and instagramable. The area is accessable with bus and can walk from avenue of the star.

You can explore this area since you are already at the harbor area. I didn’t go inside the center since I didn't have any plans when I discovered this place. Hong Kong Cultural Centre has a great structure on the outside for an instagrammable spot from each side.

I just happened to come to a calligraphy exhibition, and every poem is of great significance. You can also go out on a boat here and watch the fireworks this time. The environment is very relaxing and worth a visit.

Hk philharmonic orchestra will perform in this centre. Acoustic is good. Seats are bit tight but bearable. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

A bit aging center of the exterior and the lobby. But the hall itself still very clean, grand and functional.

The Hong Kong Cultural Centre is such a beautiful venue! You can visit the centre even if you are attending a show-performance and the experience is great. They usually have some Art galleries in the public spaces, hallways, lobby and surroundings; including the outdoor plaza. Talking about the outdoors, you can walk around the center to find some great sculptures and beautiful views of the Hong Kong Bay. Good photos guaranteed ;0) 100% recommended 👍

Combination of modern architecture with memories. I'm glad the Clock tower was saved, it was one of the landmarks I remember about 50 years ago.

There was an Asian highschool breakdancing competition here last weekend. Great displays of moves and stuff. It was a two day event and the place was rammed full.

Big, well-maintained and nicely-managed venue with a number of theatres and smaller studios for various kinds of performances in different scales and forms. There are always a lot of things going on in here, where it is sufficiently air-conditioned, brightly illuminated in a well-designed, centrally located building complex. I love watching different shows and concerts here, which are always pleasurable. There are exhibitions sometimes, and even some outdoor performances were staged! The little shop there is also a point of interest, where they sell some unique stuffs, although not with low prices, it is always worth having a look to see what they are, and to appreciate some innovative designs or beautiful art pieces. Box office is big with many counters, which could help the line move faster during certain time. I strongly recommend this place to anyone, no matter for a classical concert or a musical production, or for a play or Cantonese Opera show!

Okay main room, a bit of a shame to have the clics from the aircon permanently, including during performances. Seats are comfortable and the sound is very good. Went for Il Trovatore (Verdi's Opera) and had no problem with the acoustic, which was really excellent.

Service was efficient and staff polite. We ordered 2 set dinners.1main course with salmon fish and the other a roast duck leg confit which was disappointing as it turned out to be a rubber duck. The duck tasted more like Chinese Air dried duck and was very tough. The waiter apologized and asked if I wanted to change it but I declined as I do not want to be late for a concert. He did relayed my feedback to the manager but had not really responded at all. The waiter had been extremely responsive all the way and had done a good job.

2nd time here and this time to a smaller scale. Surrounded by wooden structure making the sound bounce back with soft and warm feeling.

Hong Kong's largest concert hall. A bit of an ugly monolith from the outside, but it is the premier venue for big ticket performances. Good acoustics.

Good place for a lot of concerts. The programs change regularly so you never get bored. Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Acoustic is good in all rooms.

It is a place where you may fill up your desires and hungers for cultural products and arts. It is still worthy to pay a visit even in idle time. You may experience a calm and silent time in this busy city. It is located at the very end of Kowloon peninsula, very easy to access and to connect to other activities.

Nice area although the museum was closed when i visited. I had to go to the Space Museum instead and spend time at the harbor

Beautiful and clean establishment. The cultural center is worth seeing itself without having any specific event to attend.

Great place to catch an opera or theatrical show with performances on all the time. The structure of the building is architecturally interesting in itself and there is a Pacific Coffee there to keep your caffeine levels up whilst you admire the ongoing community and school art displays they often showcase. Could do with a pre-show wine bar to bring the ambience to its finest.. particularly during the intermission where a lot of people sneak off to 7-11 to get a cheeky midway tipple.

You can get tickets for performances as well as having good Cantonese Chinese cuisines at Sernade on Podium from Salisbury Road main staircase opposite YMCA Tsim Sha Tsui.

Hong Kong cultural center remains a must go tourist place. I would get out at the L6 subway stop and then walk on the surface roads back.

A very nice place for drama performance. The hall is full of modern tech: mobile big size stage settings, lighting and structural acoustic effects.

If you see a windowless premises at the scenic Tsimshatsui water front, you should understand the design of premises is focused on activities inside. It is generally accepted that the Centre is well-equipped on the audio side, but popular concerts are often held elsewhere. On Saturdays and Sundays, you see newly weds taking photos in the vicinity as there is a small Marriage Registry there. I have fond memories of the public performance of my original songs in the open with the Victoria harbour and the Hong Kong island as backdrops on more than one occasion! PS I like the public art at its front entrance.

I like events here. Seen events in the two big spaces now and both looked and sounded great. Access in and out is easy. Getting there is fun on the ferry from Central. It's a shame there isn't more in the venue for refreshments other than Pacific Coffee...although they do sell alcohol...sorta... It still just feels like a coffee shop though.

This cultural center has been built for quite some time. So it may looks a bit old style. However, listening to concert in here is still great and seats are very comfortable. Sound quality is gd. 17th July 2022: absolutely loved the grand concert hall. Even the balcony seats have fantastic view of the orchestra and the sound is amazing. So please to be back after several years due to Covid.

This is the most prestigious performance venue of Hong Kong! It's well maintained to world class standards. Since it's opening in the early 80s, it's been a cradle for local and international performing arts. The location is superb, u can take the most scenic post card photo of Victoria harbor right outside of the center. This is truly a Hotspot of Hong Kong.

I love this buildings architecture- so uniquely brutalist. The inside is spacious and beautiful. In the theatres, the seats are very comfortable and the view to the stage is very good.

A icon in HK and must take a photo with it. It is just next to the star ferry with clock tower next door. The building is nice but actually inside is a bit old fashion. There are many world class performace here and easy to access this venue. There is a starbucks, maxims restaurants.

The orchestras are very good to hear. There is a Starbucks in there too, very yummy. 😍Must listen to the orchestras though.

Looks a bit dated - but it's the contents that matter. Some great events/shows here on a regular basis. Gets particularly busy (and with some especially cool stuff) around the Hong Kong Arts Festival.
