Hotel took full payment from my credit card 1 day before arrival, then reversed the payment so I had to wait 1 week for funds to be returned. Then argued with me that it was my banks fault not there's....most establishments would normally take a $1 transaction to establish the validity of your card, the most worrying thing is that they have my credit card details on record. Then had to withdraw extra funds to pay the room bill before I could check in, leaving me short for my stay in HK furthermore the hotel required a HKD $500 key deposit, why prey do they require this deposit considering they have already obtained my credit card details and proven it's validity. Then my girlfriend and I were put in a twin room when we had clearly booked a double, I brought these matters to the receptionists attention in an amicable manner and was rudely and abruptly interrupted and told I was being unreasonable to expect a double room considering they were fully booked. Got to the room which was nothing like the pictures shown at the time of our online booking and clearly had been smoked as it stunk like an ashtray, bed mattress is thin and bed is just big enough to fit 2 people. Service is absolutely atrocious, worst hotel I have ever stayed at...and I have been travelling extensively for over 10 years and 30 countries

About a 10min walk from Prince Edward MTR exit C. Good location because great dim sum places are near the station and there are shops along the way. McDonald's opposite the road, circle k convenience store and supermarket also 2min away from hotel so its really convenient! The room was okay, cosy for two people. We got a room with two beds instead of one double bed so sleeping at night was comfortable. Room was clean, toilet was clean. Walls are a bit thin though, so sometimes you can hear your neighbours if they talk loudly. Rooms probably a bit smaller than the pictures online but for the price we paid I think it met and even exceeded expectations a little bit!

VP APARTMENT, not a hotel as they claim they are, trust me, is by far the worst accommodation we've had as a frequent traveler. We were booked from this lousy stinking apartment, not a hotel again, from August 19-22, 2019. Staff are not courteous at all, inefficient and unreliable when it comes to simple directions around HK tourist destinations. There was flood just in front of our door that my companion slipped and almost hit his head on the floor, and when we made that known to the reception, there was no apologies or actions taken by the management. Beddings are as dirty as gross. And the worst part of their so-called customer service, they refused to provide us bottled water on our last day. Very BASIC and yet, we didn't get any as a paying customer, considering that we were booked with them for more than 3 days. Unapologetic, arrogant, lousy, inefficient accommodation and staff. Never trust this property if you want a comfortable, accessible and stress-free vacation in HK! And never trust AGODA, too. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE A ONE STAR!

Simple, nothing fancy & very reasonably priced. The receptionists were pretty friendly & helpful.

That’s not an easy task to find good rooms at reasonable price in Hongkong. A good room it’s never less than U$ 200. But this time the company book at VP and I was surprised with a clean room, soft cotton sheets and a shower, that distances two foot from the toilet piece... Yeah, sometimes the shower is over the toilet. So, if you’re looking for a place to sleep, that’s your place.

So far so good for one night stay. No shave no comb. Sound block can be improved

Location was a fairly short walk from Prince Edward and Sham Shui Po stations, and it was also walkable to Mongkok. This means that good and affordable food is always near. There’s also a supermarket (Wellcome) and MacDonalds across the street. Room spacious by Hong Kong standards, and the room looks clean. We got a room right next to the lift but there was very minimal noise disruption. Room cleaning service was good because we always returned to a neat and clean room even though they did not always change our beddings. The hotel’s concierge was also helpful and luggage storage service was available after our check-out timing at noon. A downside was the lack of TV channels to watch, and there was only 1 other power socket available besides the one for the TV. Overall I am a happy camper as it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this place to my friends visiting HK.

Good location for backpackers, not family friendly. Staff and owner are friendly but the rooms can use some daily cleaning, they never changed the sheets during our four day stay and the beds are the worst I've ever slept in and I've stayed in many cheaper hotels.

The room is kinda small and the facility is barely simple, not much place for large luggage... Around HKD460 a night, which you can get a better room in HK. Location not quite friendly, not close to MTR, it is the middle of Shum Shui Po and Prince Edward.
