Hotel Vasantha bhavan is a kind of “Okey” restaurant for me, located in Court Road, SM street. The food quality is not much good but definitely not bad, it’s an average in the sense of taste and also in neatness. And I think the price is little bit over when we compare to the taste of food they offer. It’s an Average restaurant in my rating ***

Good restaurant to have breakfast. The taste of the food is really good here. If you're a South Indian then you will definitely love this restaurant. You must try poori which is served along with potato. You may also try masala dosa, Tea and Vada. Don't miss this restaurant when you visit calicut.

As compared to other Veg Hotel their speciality is a payasam with the Meals @Rs.70 As compared to other Kozhikode Hotel taste is just like extreme south of the Subcontinent.

Very old restaurant in the City. Kept clean and hygienic. Nice employees. Very tasty Masla dosha and Ghee roast. Poori is un avoidable delicious item. Idly and Vada is amazing combination with various chatnies. No wheelchair available. Parking facility is not sufficient in front of the restaurant.

The food is fine. But it's not at all hygienic! Was urgent to use the bathroom but was not even usable...there were pieces of sh*t unflushed. Awful experience!

Nice veg restaurant. Food served there is very tasty and resembles Tamil Nadu food style. Sambhar, chutney all feel fresh irrespective of the time. Vada is hot and their snacks all feel fresh unlike other restaurants. Waiters there are the best. Takes the order really quickly and food arrives very quickly thus almost no wait times. And the best part is they not take any tips from customers and serves customers very nice and friendly, very rare to find such waiters in any restaurant in Kozhikode.

Average food and high rate Masala dosa and a tea rate 70+10

Worst hotel in calicut... Few years before it was so good... Dont know what happend... latest review : Has improved a lot. Last time I posted the review was around 7 years back. food quality has improved and the price is also very moderate compared to other vegetarian hotels.

A nostalgic place. Father's office used to be in court road. We used to walk to Vasantha Bhavan to have good Masala dosa and coffee. I went to Vasantha Bhavan today after so many years and felt great.

The rice they serve is made of brown rice. For those who don't like Ponni rice and rice, there is no other food. I felt very sad. Went in to have a meal
