This beach is an emotion!!! And my last visit with family was a truly memorable experience. While the beach was quite crowded, I found that the atmosphere was still peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights of my visit was the sea bridge area, which had a really nice vibe. The bridge offered beautiful views of the ocean and the surrounding area, and it was the perfect spot to take in the sights and sounds of the beach. Despite the crowds, I found that Calicut Beach had a way of drawing me in and creating an emotional connection. Whether it was the sound of the waves crashing against the shore or the warmth of the sun on my skin, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Calicut Beach. It's a beautiful and peaceful destination that has a way of drawing you in and creating an emotional connection!

Its really a beautiful place. Recent renovation works, artworks, murals and statues makes it to next level. You can also find modern cafe with good interiors and music near by that. Kite running and fighting also possible there. And local food items and cold drinks are also available.

Calicut Beach, also known as Kozhikode Beach, is located in the city of Kozhikode in the state of Kerala, India. The beach is known for its clean sand and clear water, making it a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is also a popular spot for evening walks and picnics, and there are several stalls selling snacks and refreshments. One of the main attractions of Calicut Beach is the Lions Park, which is located near the beach. The park features a children's play area, a garden, and a walkway that offers a beautiful view of the beach. There is also a lighthouse nearby, which offers panoramic views of the city and the surrounding area.

A very nice place to spend time. It is an interesting tourist destination of Kozhikode. People from different place come here to spent time,to play, to swim and likewise . Different types of tasty street foods are available here, on the beach and roadside. You can see the sunset in the evening, which is splendid. Some times different cultural programs and exhibitions are conducted here.

Beache is really good and worth visiting. However, getting the parking is the biggest challenge during weekends and holidays. We tried to find parking both the ends. Finally we got as someone was leaving. And you can find water games towards north side of the beach. Spread boat, kayaking and bullet boat were there. Since it is in January month there was no paragliding.

I've heard it's one of the best beaches in Kerala. But last time I visited it does not meet my expectation, To be honest i have great expectations but all I can find is lots of plastic waste, Flowing waste water from the city sewer and very crowded. Even though it's one of the best spots in Kozhikode to spend the evening. If you walk along the beach and move to a less crowded part the beach is more quite, clean and peaceful.

Nice and clean beach. Swimming is not recommended here as sea is mostly rough here. You have small local eating joints. You can also enjoy coffee in Starbucks. Better to carry some snacks if you want to stay here for long. Commuting is easy as there are autos available in the auto stand. Good point is they ply by meter. Had a great day here and enjoyed the time with my family. I will really recommend this place to go with family.

One of the best beach experiences. It’s sooo lively with kids flying kites and enjoying in beach. Sunset views are just stunning. Couldn’t leave this place at all. Along with the sunset hues there is moon and star, the beach waves hitting the shores…best experience. I am definitely going to go back here. Next time will try for a full moon day. So many toy shops and snack shops are also available.

Kozhikode beach is most renowned beach in Kerala. This beach exceptionally astounding with pleasant eatery close by. The view is particularly beautyfull in the evening & night when group of individuals come there. A grade inn Sea Queen is situated there which is an unquestionable requirement visit for every one of the travelers. The beach is spotless and has legitimate guest plan as well.

It's one of the most prominent beaches in Kerala. People generally visit here in the evening to witness the mind-blowing scene of the sunset in the backdrop of Arabian sea. It best destination to spend evening with the family and the friends. The street sellers and small tea shop pour color to the beauty of the beach. There are few restaurants around as well from where we can have traditional kozhikodan dishes

Its a neat beach to spend the evening. You can walk through the beach side which has the stone structures and sitting space all along. You will be able to get into the sea only on the extreme end as one end is filled with stones. Tasty snacks, juices, Tea / Coffee are readily available. Vehicle parking is done on the road side causing jams during holidays and weekends. We exited city to highways through "meenchanda" We're you get fresh fish at very lucrative rates.

We went to this beach which is walkable distance from Kozhicode railway station. This is a very beautiful beach and the beach is very clean as well. It is very crowded and its difficult to find parking especially close to sunset. There are lots of places to sit and relax and enjoy the waves hitting against the rocks or washing of your feet. There are lots of small food carts to enjoy great sure food as well. The place is also really safe since there is always police patrol that goes around all the time. We went there at sunset as well as late at night and still there was a lot of crowd at both times. It’s a very serene place to enjoy a clean and beautiful evening

Kozhikode beach is located about 1 km away from the city of Kozhikode is an excellent beach for sunset watching . Lots of folks go to the beach to watch the sunset. There are food places nearby where you can get yummy seafood, like mussels. If you go to Dolphins Point early in the morning, you might see some playful dolphins. Plus, there's a cool lighthouse, two piers that go into the ocean, and a nearby aquarium with marine animals to check out.

Beautiful beach❀️ We visited on weekend and beach fest was happening. The crowd was great. The whole beach vibe is different and it felt really great spending time over there. The shore is having good length which allows huge crowd and other small shops to fit in. Kids and family also gets enough space to have some leisure time. The colorful atmosphere towards evening was such a pleasure to eyes πŸ’― Lots of stores were there. Found good and quality stuffs. The only and main issue was parking. Since it was too crowded we needed lots of time to find a space to park our car. Apart from parking, everything was great.

Kozhikode Beach is the most popular attractions of Kozhikode, which gives sunset viewers an unforgettable sight of Arabian Sea and soothing water, reaching the shore in a rhythmic way. The old lighthouse and two crumbling piers that run into the sea, add to the beauty of the beach and retain its old world charm. beach is one of the few places on earth, which makes one realize how big our mother earth is and how small we all look in front of it. Best for sunset and sunrise views. Beach is polluted with black wastage. So many food stall's were found near the beach with some different dishes. Recommended for viewing and enjoying the humidity there. Better not to go inside as the beach was not that much clean. No entry ticket. No wait time. Usually crowded on weekends. Vehicles should be parked on road itself. Try out different kinds of foods here.

This beach is about 2km form the bus stand and the railway station, I went by walk from KSRTC. It's a decent size beach well maintained and clean and has a good amount of history to it. This was the port and harbor since anytime and was the major point in world sea trade routes. In case you land hungry here, no worries there a number of stalls on and off beach serving some local delicacies. Evening time is crowded and but there is ample room for all to stroll around and to sit and relax. Yes it has both car and two wheeler parking.

It's just a beach, nothing special, nothing exciting. If you are visiting Kozhikode and you have enough time then you go or else there is nothing to go. Not recommended. Dirt all around. Government should first remove street vendors and settle them on the beach road instead of let them put shop on the beach area. Because of that only beach is so dirty and smelling. A beach in a city should be clean, wonderful and exciting and should be worth visiting but sadly our Governments never give priority to panning and maintaining anything that can attract tourists but they don't care about anything, you come or don't come they do not care. This is the attitude normally most of the tourists places across India get from the State as well as Central Government.

Definitely, this beach will Seas your day. Kozhikode (aka Calicut) beach has always been a prominent place for conducting public meetings. So, over crowded in weekend days. Pros: 1. Easily reachable. 2. Stunning views. 3. Friendly People. 4. Unique Restaurants. 5. Stunning Sunset. Cons: 1. Over crowd. 2. Limited Parking Space. 3. Low maintenance. 4. Lack of Privacy. 5. Riddled with trash and plastic waste. For me, a T-shirt, a pair of shorts, barefoot on a beach and I'm happy. So, I recommend.

Clean and beautiful place for recreation.People of all ages visit here for recreation. I have observed babies along with their parents to very aged people along with their children. There were even people on wheel chairs enjoying the beauty of Kozhikode beach. (Calicut beach). It was an awesome scene to watch the sun set. There were many stalls from where one could buy tasty snacks and juices. The crowd visiting the beach makes it an interesting place for those who love to mingle with nature and the crowd.

A nice little beach in Kozhikode. A beach is always a great spot for relaxation. Whether it’s for an early morning walk or an evening sunset, you can never find anything better than a beach. There are a number of small shops along the beach. The lighting gives the place a beautiful touch. There is always people on the beach. Was surprised to see that there was a small crowd even at 2am. It’s a neatly maintained beach. If you are around Kozhikode, then don’t miss this beauty. You will also be able to enjoy some local snack along with it.

It's not a private beach 😎 Yet Beautiful place 😍 Good and nostalgic 😍 It's a really good place to have a great time. Nice for small fun activities with children and beloved ones, easy to access for food and safe stays near to the beach. It's a famous beach in Kerala. I experienced it's a crowded weekend. Small shops are here to serve small snacks and cut fruits πŸ˜‹ However, you definitely love this place. Day by days, many explorers have visited here. it is a great spot to absorb the last visuals of the day😁

Fun place to chill out with friends and family. The best time to visit is summer in the evening around sunset. The beach is fairly clean, not too crowded. The water, the salty wind, and the sound of shore everything just add to the beautiful view of the sea touching the horizon. There's fast food, ice cream, water etc. on the beach itself. There are lifeguards for your safety on the beach. Children are safe and can have fun on the beach.

I have visited the Calicut beach located within city limits numerous times, and it was a truly memorable experience. This beach had everything that I could have possibly asked for - peace, tranquility, easy access to transportation, and the opportunity to spend quality time with my loved ones. One of the most striking things about this beach was how peaceful it was. Despite being located in the heart of the city, the beach was a serene oasis that allowed me to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was a soothing backdrop that helped me relax and unwind. The beach was also a great place to spend time with my loved ones. We were able to bond over a shared love of the ocean and the sand, and we spent hours playing in the water, building sandcastles, and taking long walks along the shore. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Transportation to the beach was incredibly easy, which made it a convenient choice for our day trip. We were able to take a short bus ride from the city center to the beach, and we didn't have to worry about navigating unfamiliar roads or finding parking. This made the day stress-free and allowed us to focus on having a good time. Overall, I would highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient escape within the city limits. Whether you're looking to spend time with loved ones or simply enjoy some quiet time by the ocean, this beach has everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating day.

One of the best beaches in kerala where we can spend time with family and friends. Nice ambiance and the beach is so clean. You can find lots of food outlets near the beach. Weekends are a bit rushed and busy.

While the beach offered beautiful coastal views and relaxation, the beach has lack of cleanliness. The absence of clean restrooms or shower facilities made it difficult to freshen up or rinse off after a swim. The absence of designated trash bins contributed to the litter problem, as visitors seemed to have no convenient place to dispose of their waste.

Kozhikode Beach is a bustling hotspot with a lively atmosphere. It can get crowded, especially during peak hours, but that is a testament to its popularity. The variety of snack stalls, cool drinks, and refreshments ensure that you won't go hungry! The beach is well-kept and clean, providing a pleasant environment to relax, take a leisurely stroll, and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery.

Nice and clean beach. Swimming is not recommended here as sea is mostly rough here. You have small local eating joints. Had a great day here and enjoyed the time with my family. I will really recommend this place to go with family.

Kozhikode beach is an emotion for the locals. This place is crowded irrespective of the day and time. Weekends and holidays are usually filled and you may find it difficult to find parking. There are a lot of eateries providing multiple cuisines nearby. It's an absolutely refreshing place to catch a sunset and increase your serotonin. You can even set up a picnic vibe. There are walk ways in case you don't want to get your feets dirty. Swimming is usually not entertained.

To be honest.......this beach is overrated.... Full of plastics and wastes. Lot's of people and it is overpopulated. Busiest beach πŸ˜…... also beach is too rough it's impossible for swimming and water activities. There is no proper maintenance and beach is full of dirts and dusts. Sewage water will be flowing directly into sea and one can observe the color of sand it's dark brownish black means it's too polluted. Only rating for the vibes and chaos of beach during evening, lots of food option covered with dust πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‚, traffic, shopping. It's a one time experience if you are visiting Calicut for first time. . Kerala has many silent and calm beaches to enjoy !! πŸ˜‰

A very open beach with beautiful sunset view but the beach is very crowded if you go by late evenings plus the heavy traffics especially on weekends. Sunday’s it is better you stay from this area. I mostly enjoy weekdays at here.

What a vibrant place to hangout! We visited on a rainy Sunday morning and yet there were hawkers and public alike. The food stalls are a must try for all visiting Kozhikode for the first time. Be it the ice oratthi, mussels fry, quail eggs or the peas- egg masala.. each one was delicious!

The soul of Calicut, very beautiful and good vibes only. Too rush in weekend and very difficult to find a parking lot for our vehicle. One of the best beach in kerala. And one of the popular and most people visiting beach. Need some basic spots like clean and well maintained washrooms, and rest rooms. Because too much people are visiting each day.

Easily one of the best beach and marine drives in Kerala with amazing crowd and food spots to experience. The Freedom square structures are one of a kind you won't find anywhere else. 10/10 recommend

Calicut Beach stands as a picturesque haven, where golden sands meet the rhythmic waves of the Arabian Sea. This enchanting locale seamlessly blends natural beauty with cultural vibrancy. Strolling along the shore unveils a tapestry of local lifeβ€”vibrant markets, traditional fishing boats, and the warm embrace of the coastal breeze. While the beach offers a serene retreat, occasional crowds and cleanliness issues slightly temper the experience. Nevertheless, Calicut Beach remains a captivating destination, inviting visitors to savor the essence of coastal living.
