We went as a couple. The place is filled with good photogenic spots. You can click alot of good pictures here. The place is best suited for couples since most of the youngsters are spotted there having the best of their time. Even we, as a couple was astonished at the activities teenagers were involved in! It's not at all a family area. Friends in group can visit but might regret of being single😆 It's the best place for youngsters mad in love, you will get bit of privacy too and most of the couples around won't be spying at you. Overall a good place for couples to roam around.

A Fine Evening walk space and Relaxation spot in the middle of the City, Covered with mangroves and Light woody forest around with lot of Planted trees and herbals. Entry fee is 20 per person and Open from 9 to 5.45 - 6 A Good Place for Evening walkers, Inner forest is a space for people who needs a long talk and personal walk space with their loved ones. A small Juice point is available near to the Open theatre and Kids play area. Restroom is not so Clean and Neat but okay Make sure you don't drop any plastic there already a lot is dumped in and around NB : Make sure you give privacy upon you and others 😋

Nice place for morning walk. An eco and bio park in the heart of calicut city. There is an open gym and walking track. It's like a Forrest in the middle of the city It's free to enter till 8.50 AM. 9 AM onwards there is ticket for each adult - 20 Rs

Well maintained park. Note: if you are going there with friends like me :p, or if you are single and want a peaceful evening, you are going to regret it. For two benches there are couples having there good time.

Good place to spend evenings for sit and relaxing inside the park among the trees. No parking space especially available for vehicles, need to park along road side at our own risk. Entry fee is Rs. 20 /- . Park is not well maintained. Lot of sitting places available as small huts and chairs. A small cafeteria is located inside the park. Children playing area is also there inside the park. Park will close at 6:00 pm. Mangrove forest is found full of plastic and waste. Need a lot of improvements to suit as a bio diversity park.

Take a walk through the nature. This park hasn't disturbed the forest ecosystem much like other parks.Especially for couples it is much good no moral policing.There will be a ticket to get entry. Overall a good experience!

A place rich in biodiversity at the center of the city, set up made here as a park was a great idea to preserve it from encroachments even though it had to compromise little towards the ecosystem prevailed here. Initially it was well maintained with proper care and maintenance however the current situation is pathetic. You can just walk through the path created along the sides of the mangroves and can sit there for sometime and enjoy, that's all..Time restrictions are there too and people who like to have a greenery and calm atmosphere can preferably use this location. For birding this will be an apt place as you can see more number species here and it is an area to be protected..

I went here with my friends last week, this is a very good place for couples not friends. There are many great photogenic spots here to shoot pics. You can see almost all the area are nearby closed here, authority should take some steps to rejuvenate this place.

One cannot walk a few metres without stumbling upon a couple. There is a canal cutting through the eco park that is home to several aquatic species of plants and animals.

A huge mangrove forest hidden within the city. Must visit for a stroll through the jungle. Only drawback is the cringe couple gangs that you can find throughout the place. Not adviced to take kids.

The area is nice, however, being a Biopark would have been nice if plants and trees were named with some details. We went there thinking we will learn about some flora! But, this park seems like a lover's spot! Went on a weekday and all we saw were couples occupying every nook and cranny! Would not really recommend if you are planning to visit with young kids. However, if "romancing" outdoors and wanting to get caught is the thrill you seek go for it 😂 .The park motivates with all genres of romantic songs😆 So visit to seek that much needed twisted thrill!

Well it is best for couples,you can hear songs while you are roaming around there and the place is very calm and quiet where you can relax and can spent a lot of time at low cost..It is also suitable for family where there are kids park to play , lot of stone seats to sit.The nature really blessed that place with lots of tress, fresh air,...

I had went to Sarovaram bio park along with my friends. The park is very well maintained and is lush green with a lot of seatings. The park has children play area. The park is more suitable for couples who want to share intimate moments with their loved ones. So I would not recommend going to biopark with friends. Overall its a nice place for one time visit.

Nice place for a walk. The forest inside is awesome . From the busy city when u get to walk in to the forest, you feel you have stepped into another world.the trees give you the feel of real forest. The walking area is surprisingly big and there is plenty of sitting area and enough dust bin to keep it environmental friendly. You can hear the silence of the forest in its way. If It is raining,the feeling will be on another plain. Strongly suggested for all visitors. Overall i give 5/5. The vibe you get is similar or may be a bit higher than ur walk in Kuala Lumpur airport jungle broad walk.(for reference of international travelers )

The place looks amazing. When I am go there in morning before 8 AM it feels beautiful. But when I visit there in day time it’s a pace with lots of couple’s with 18+. So I am preferred there to visit morning.

Not maintained properly..... Just a jungle with lots of trees & full of darkness.... Best for early morning walks... Nothing more... Not reccomended for families.... Because more than 80% are couples... So either we disturb couples or the couples make the families feel uncomfortable....

Beautiful park with conserved mangroves and beautiful river view. A place with high privacy, for families to enjoy a picnic n chill weekend. Also an excellent place to walk and do daily exercises, yoga and other physical activities.

The place is very calm full and very relaxing. But don't expect any cute real birds and animals rather than lovebirds 😅. Overall atmosphere is great 👍🏻 . Also you will feel awkward inside this part.

This is relaxing tourist attraction of kozicode,kerala.The park is surrounded by density of green forestry,it is very quite place,There is swings hanging trees.very very pleasant place, morning schedule is very busy there ..after 10 am its a nice place to relax ...One of the most popular spot among the couples. Gives you enough privacy to spend. Suitable for family also. Jogging track & open auditorium is available for public. Can sit, walk or even practice yoga there. There is a children's park & a boating area inside the park.

Very bad. It's not a good place for family visits. I think it's only for couples. When I visited there, so many couples were there. I felt that very shame on them Because all they did was such a nuisance. I wondered how they could behave like this in public places. There were no restrictions. So anybody can enter the park and anything can be done without any fear. 😀😀😀

If you are alone..or have family...go in the morning best..6.30am good time to enjoy the biopark..please don't stop walk or take rest..mosquitoes will bite your a&&. And in the evening .if you know you know...butterfilies are mentally mentally It's good to chit chat and have peaceful space to sit and hold hands or gentle hug or kiss other than that...get a room , . . Sadly won't recommend to a Orthodox family. Need more places like Sarovam. A gem in the concrete jungle.

The canteen needs to be improved. Rest all things are good . Overall it's very neat and clean. Some maintenance required in the kids play area. The open gym was good and had lots of fun.

Great place to spend evening with loved ones. It's situated right in the city and hence is easily reachable. The boating centre was closed and seems closed for a long time. The cleanliness and smell in toilets could definitely be improved a lot!

Sarovaram Biopark is situated in Kozhikode district It's nice to visit There is open gym in park. The negative thing I found that the entrance area is not much clean due to the contaminated water smell.

It’s a beautiful park with a nice walk way, they have some gym equipment too which can be used by the public. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars - I have noticed a lot of spit and people spitting in the walk way which I find quite disappointing given the standard of the park, they should make strong rules prohibiting this

We visited Sarovaram Biopark and was truly impressed by the lush greenery that's maintained inside a busy city like Calicut. Unless one visits the place, one cannot imagine of such thickly packed trees and mangrove growth inside the city. When we walked deeper into the Biopark, we realized we were not even hearing the sound of traffic. Amazing. We met an Arabic lecturer from Faroke college with a novel by Ruskin Bond enjoying his reading in the dense greenery. Other than the fact that the youngsters have chosen this place for their tryst of lovers' cushy mushy meeting place - which was a bit too many, we enjoyed our walk.

Beware of lovers during the day time👻.. Otherwise its an awesome place for nature lovers. Its open for all from 6-8 AM for joggers. Explore the fresh air during this time.

The park has a central circular paved path with lovely summer houses, and a path down to the boating lake. The path extends beyond the boating lake, but was closed for repairs. I had hoped that there would be more signed trails through the forest. A cafe selling cold drinks was welcome in the heat. The park is currently open from 9am-6pm, and cost 20 rupees. A nice place to sit and relax.

It’s a shame that the children’s park in Sarovaram which was once my son’s favourite place is not at all safe for children anymore. Like many other initiatives this one also has become useless and even dangerous due to poor maintenance.

It's my first time to visit Sarovaram biopark. Simply an area that surrounded by green among the city of Calicut. A peaceful and eco friendly area with full of silence.The only negative seemed to be the dirt ditch in that area

Nice ambience especially at early morning and evening.. the place is nature covered. Surprised to see such a thick kinda forest in the heart of a city like Calicut. Great place to hangout with friends and the place is a main spot for couples who enjoy there time being there. Overall really nice. Also there are cycles ride available for some amount. And sadly some sport wete off limits when i went last time.

Well, it's the best to avoid if you are single 😉 IFf you still want to visit, better take headset and play some smooth songs while roaming around here. Mask is preferred as it'll reduce the bad smell of the water around here.

Inside the park there is children's playing area a small stage and sitting area called amphie theatre. The area or park is mostly filled with teenagers and couples in every corners and other places. Good spot for photography as the place is in the nature itself. There is a ticket of 20 rupees for entrance and the park is open till 6.30 evening from morning. The park is open for public in early morning for jogging, walking and all with out any tickets

It's inaccessible to wheel chair users as there are two two steps in the entrance near the ticket counter. But with help i entered the park. The interlocked tiles are also little uneven which makes strolling through the park difficult. Thats the reason for giving a lower rating. Hope DTPC take notice and make the place accessible. Also maintenance is not sufficient as plastic bottles can be seen else where . It could have been a great hangout spot for all if maintained well.

A beautiful mini forest, a park, a lake and a long walk way. All in the mid of a city. Don't think anywhere else in this state or may be in the country... Maintenance could have been better!
