This is a pond attached to the Shiva temple, Bilathikulam, Calicut. This place is serene, and the ambiance is great.

A very pristine lake in the middle of the city of Calicut (Kozhikode). This is like many temple ponds littered across the city. The management of the temple and locals are responsible for the upkeep of the pond. The pond serves are a water catchment for the habitat nearby. Locals savour the pond for morning and evening swims. Super place.

The best feel of bliss at this place with the pond and the temple on both sides. Had enjoyed swimming during college times.

This pond is being cleaned and a 72 Lakh rupee project is undergoing for the renovation. It will be an asset for that area.
