Once the most prestigious hotel in calicut. Now in such a pathetic condition. The owners of hotel have such greed for money that they have recruited foolish bengalis as waiters for cutting the operational cost. You can expect the treatment like you are in a concentration camp and they are giving food for free. Never thought hotel vinayaka will become a ditch like this. All you can expect there is nasty bengalis waiting to insult you.

Went for dinner. It was over crowded. We had, chola batura - was just ok. Chana Masala as not that tasty Puttu Kadala - puttun was not fresh. Kadala Curry was just fine. Coffee - seems to be a normal one - not much captive Service was slow - yet fine by the 2nd waiter. Overall 3/5 since we are not fully satisfied on the food & services. Hope Vinayaka management will these better.

Highly disappointed. Ordered their Paneer Noodles on Zomato. When l was eating it, l felt some non chewable substance inside my mouth and when l took the food out of my mouth, found an aluminium/metal peice (image attached). Had l swallowed it, it would have been life threatening. I had eaten almost 80% of this contaminated food before I found this metal peice and this is no less of a health concern. Negligence in food is unacceptable.

The place is neat, clean and well maintained. There is ample space as well. But I think there is a shortage of staff there and it is going to cost them down the line. Two families left as they were not attended to even after waiting for than 15 mins. The food was tasty and the rates were also reasonable. But the service side, needs to be more focused on. People were waiting in line to get a seat, which could be avoided if the previous customers were served on time.

Hotel vinayaka situated in tali near jubilee hall is a well known vegetarian hotel...we arranged our get together lunch there..the food was good and we enjoyed it.....we had Sandhya. The hospitality is appreciable..service may be improved (the reason may be it is sabarimala season) but overall all my friends really enjoyed it...the day we went for booking i had tomato rice and was spicy and yummy...thank you very much...

Very bad service.. only one person to take and supply the order..have to sit for more than half an hour to get the ordered food... only one person to serve and take the orders.........Not as good as it used to be

Poor customer service and disparity in price against the menu card in ac section. When actual bill came there was Rs 20 difference against each item ordered, which as per waiter was an error because they had wrongly kept non ac menu in ac section. 😂😂. When thought of highlighting the same to someone in hotel management, a person who introduced as the owner never admitted the mistake, and went on arguing that their price menu is the best among veg hotels in calicut and when told that that has exceeded my budget, he was not ready to listen and challenged me to bring bill from another restaurant because he claims to give best pricing. When asked how they are managing Rs 20 difference i was told thats by quantity adjustment.what a great management mantra. This restaurant is run by few people who doesnt know anything about customer management and this restaurant service is a nightmare. Dear friends i. Would never ever visit this place.

Pathetic staff behaviour, they are more intresting in having food for themselves.when I came with family plenty of meals was available infront of us. But without taking care of our orders they are busy in eating meals . And they informed us meals was finished but sufficient meals with sufficient side dishes was staffs are more interested about their hunger. I do garee with that because food is equal for all,but they could have eat it inside denying the customer meals and eating it infront of them with sufficient quantity is Insane Then we ordered or tried three type of biriyani the taste was same for all only charges become high according to the diffrent name.i don't knew about other food stuffs what ever it is due to staffs bad behaviour and their staffs where more keen to eat food for themselves I don't knew weather the owner also was doing the same. I won't take risk to come back here again. Regards

I ordered Chhole Batura and it was not at all good.. that too they gave very less channa curry and added more chutney😕😕.... had a Masala Dosa too and it was not at all tasting good.

I've been there on 10th April 2023. Service is pathetic, food (neyroast) was substandard quality, gobi Manchurian was okay. We requested for forks more than twice, they kept saying we r on it. Told them that the service was bad and they acted as of it was normal, ignored the feedback. Wont recommend this place.

Had the south indian meals, as a group. Place is clean and having a good ambience. Food is good and reasonably priced. Parking space is very limited. Older people might find the entrance stairs a bit difficult.

Bad customer service.. No one take the order, I wait 20 minutes for taking order.bad parking facility.because i was single customers. They only caring family tables, its very hurting, and harassment. But Food is okey . if next time if any suppliers did that type of ignorance I'll show you who iam. Idiots.

I had visited this restaurant for lunch as well as during dinner time. First it is not a bad restaurant. It is quite decent. Afternoon lunch is quite decent but I will not call it as very good or excellent. One will get both white rice and Kerala boiled rice. Many side dishes for a meal. However curd is very very sour. Curd rice not upto the mark. Evening dosa variety is quite decent.

Good tasty food. Quick service. Friendly staff. But, many members of staff have serious language issues. They do not seem to understand Hindi, Malayalam or English. So your chances of getting served something else other than what you ordered is very high. Otherwise a good place serving good vegetarian food in a very clean environment.

Very good vegetarian food..almost 365 days they are serving sadhya for lunch including whole items..i tried ghee rost and sadhya it was a nice experience to me…it’s located nearby thali temple .. not have a proper parking but security guard took care of it

Bad food. The chutney was bad , the sambar was not hot. We had dosa , onion utthapam and chole batura... Dont get me started on the chole battura... It was so so bad. Won't recommend you to visit. The old place was better. Now it is just a bad place

Amazing food. Order butter roti instead of chappati/phulka. Every Paneer dish is delicious. I have tried - tawa paneer, kadhai paneer, paneer butter masala, paneer lababdar. Also, must try Onion rava masala dosa . The managing lady is very polite and humble. She made me feel welcomed and that add the positivity to my dine-in experience.

Pathetic, irresponsible .Its so sad that we ordered 6 meals parcel in the morning and they told to be at the counter at 12.15 Pm and when we went for delivery they said to wait for half an hour. We waited till 1.45 pm then they are saying food is scarce we are not able to give you the parcel.Should I give any star points for this irresponsible behavior. I am not able to post this without giving a star. If not able to give us the food why your restaurant took the order in the first place. I recommend there should be minus star.

The only reason i am rating this place one star is because there was no option for zero or minus stars . Worst experience ever of a hotel , where we stopped by . No value for money . Rudely behaving staffs , bad compliance , poor regretful ambience , horrible food , dirty , filth ridden service . Owner is atrocious , sees everything happening around and still takes interest only in warming the seat . Inconveniently located , bad taste especially north indian dishes . There are only a few pure Vegetarian hotels in Calicut, so I always don't go hard on reviews. A good one but can improve a lot in service. Breakfast was good with Puttu, Idly & Dosa

Excellent restaurant with delicious food served in a pleasant ambience. The thali meals, break fast are all really sumptuous. We had the opportunity to have food from the restaurant four times in two days. Each time it was very satisfactory

I just went there had refreshing vinayaka special nadan soup, really yummy chocolate dosa and mango shake. Mom nd cousins had mysore ghee Roast. Only disadvantage is not much parking space. Ambience, staff behavior, cleanliness all good and owner a lady I think stands there will time to assure quality and service.

Its actual name is 'Vinayaka veg restaurant'. It s air conditioned. Good ambience esp. for a family looking for a veg restaurant in Calicut. Place is okay, had a traditional Kerala lunch/ meals served on a banana leaf which was also okay. But the hand wash area is not well lit and not enough space for car parking. And as f nw Uber doesn't operate in Kozhikode but guys fret not, u nw have Ola at ur service in Kozhikode (Calicut).

Average parking facility, especially for four wheelers some times it will be a tidious task . Restaurant is neat, there is an AC section and non AC section. Had meals from there,has to take token in advance, charging 70 Rs for a meal in non AC section, average food but not up to mark as they charges such a rate, service has to be improved, some items were supplied only after enquiring. No payasam with the meals, when asked reply was its supplied in the AC section , not in non AC in all times but in the beginning time of meals normally up to 12.30 pm if you are lucky you can have a meal with payasam. Washing area is congested, wash room is provided, cash, Card and NFC payment is allowed.

Very goos veg hotel.. Renovated and opened last month.. Service is good.. Food quality and taste is good.. ghee rice, paneer butter masala and porotta were tasty.. There is paintings on the walls.. That gives different ambience.. Staff behavior is very good.. Online payment accepted. Parking is an issue.. Small parking place..

Visited yesterday at Non Ac restaurant. Ordered paneer butter masala, naan and masala dosa Paneer butter masala was stale and old. When i complained to the waiter, he changed it immediately but still it was not good and quantity was also very less. Butter naan was hard. Masala dosa, chutney sambar was below average. Rates are given below- Paneer butter masala - Rs 150 Butter naan - 33 Masala dosa 70 Vada 14 Wont recommend this hotel to anyone. This is my first and last visit to this hotel.. Thank you.

Worst service I ever had in my life. The price is high compared to other restaurants. I had to wait almost 45 minutes just to get a small takeaway. No coordination between staff. They don't know how to run a restaurant properly. I won't recommend this place to anyone.

From my experience, the food is delicious. However, after the management transition, the food serving section becomes miserable and the lady who's at the cash counter is always busy with her phone calls. And seems like no one is there to control the topsy-turvy serving section.
