WORST EDGARS YET! We were helped by a very friendly sales/merchandising staff member, thats where friendly stopped. The till staff are rude, arrogant and completely unfamiliar with their till system. Embarrassing

Sorry to say. Some of the personnel working in the store isn't that helpful or friendly. When you're working in a shop, it means you're working with all kind of different people from all over. So you have to be friendly and helpful, that's expected and required when working with the public. But this specific staff member didn't even bother to try and help me, she looked at me, answered my question with a grumpy face and went on with packing out jeans. It was as if I wasn't there, that's how I was treated. So because of her I won't go there again. There's a lot of lovely people working in the same kind of retail shops in the center that would treat me with smiles and respect and helpfulness.

Horrible experience at Edgar's Cape Gate. Do not return items here!! Pamela Nxenge had a horrible attitude. Bought item for daughter and returned it half hour later but was interrogated- no listening skills! Item eventually returned but POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! No wonder why Edgars are going under!

On two occasions I had had queries about the quality of the items I purchased and was not given a satisfactory outcome at Cape Gate. Earlier this year I was at the Edgar's in Montana. Found the personell very friendly and helpful.

Edgar's should just close all stores... I can't believe the lack of quality and style of their clothes.... I could have just visited a flee market... Quite sad... Edgars was the brand many moons ago... Not anymore...

Clothes sizes have been reduce. Now I can't buy here anymore. Sizes 46 pants and 4x large shirts is no more.

Guys really, this was THE store in Cape Gate 4-5 years ago. What happened? The store has a good variety of clothes, but I have been here 3 times now that your system has been offline. There are 7 people at the pay points of who only 2 are working, the others are all having a chat. The counters by tills are extremely dirty and almost all the cupboards by the pay points are falling apart. I stood in line for 15 minutes and eventually just left along with the lady that was standing in the queue behind me. If you could spend all that money to revamp the entrance of the store, surely you can afford some Handy Andy and wipe down your till counters. I'll be going to Edgars in Tygervalley from now on.

I always encounter problems with Edgars the stuff are making mistakes all the time. I had problem with PayJusNow and never resoved until I went there again Yesterday. I was assisted by Mrs Planga and the problem was resolves. Enkosi kakhulu Sisi.

We've been shopping there for years & cannot find complaints. Very clean, friendly & very helpful staff with clothing, shoes & cellphones. They help us to find what we are looking for at other branches. We are very comfortable for being there.

I've seen a pair of shoes on a mannequin and unfortunately they did not have my size but when I asked for assistance the girl jump right to it and she went on the system to see what stores has my size. She phoned Canal Walk and they kept out a pair for me to come and buy. What great services from both stores!!

Most helpful and fairly well-stocked. I missed my favourite brand of makeup, Design.

Fitting room ladies are very unwelcoming , not wanting to assist a customer in any way , very bad attitude towards customers
