I like the staff here because they are so kind. This place is neat, the atmosphere is calm and nice.

The staff there have no consideration for people who are studying, they themselves are extremely loud, hold conversations with ‘friends’ right next to the study area! The last time i went there one white mature lady with short grey hair who works there had a 20 minute conversation with a friend and they kept laughing and giggling and it distracted everyone! Absolute disregard for workplace values! They dont scold other noisemakers either, afterall, how can they, they promote it! Terrible experiences every time!

I normally associate anything that's "Public" with chaos and neglect but what a pleasant surprise my visit to this library was! It is clean and well maintained and well resourced. All Covid Protocols are enforced as well. There's a wide range of books- fiction, non- fiction, children's books in English, Xhosa and Afrikaans. I took my 6 year old and he was super excited about the books in his age range and the library environment in general. We couldn't resist applying for membership! The staff is friendly and very helpful. It took me a very short time to apply for my and my children's membership once I had the required documentation. I cannot recommend this enough for all the book lovers or parents who want to instill or encourage a reading culture in their young children.

Very bad!! After today I am not wasting another second there. It was my last time. I would rather go to Bellville or Durbanville library. For the last four times I have been there to return my books and once for 2 dvd's, I had to pay for it because my books and dvd's was "late". Everytime I would renew the books so that I wouldn't get a fine. The day I went to give in the 2 dvd's, 2 of the women working there left the library while it was supposed to be opened and the next day when I wanted to hand it in they told me I had a R16 fine. I told the lady that I wasn't going to pay for it because I was on time and 2 women left that day when they were supposed to be open. She just kept the fine on my name. Unbelievable! Very bad! Then today they told me I had another fine on my name while I know I renewed the books and the woman told me over the phone that it must be in today! How can I have a fine then. They must get people who can work properly! Never going back there again! If I could give no stars, I would!

Very friendly staff. Such a pity I did'nt take the name of the gentleman who helped my children. The lady who assisted me too. On the bargain side they always have books with fantastic titles on sale for only R5 per book. I bought 2 books, virtually brand new for only R5 each. Thanks Kraaifontein library staff!

A bright, sunny place full of calmness. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. The library is clean and neat with an excellent selection of books in great condition.
