A must try ! Price worthy and very tasty, original associations. Staff friendly. It was a pleasure being able to observe the kitchen while dining. Furniture could be refresh to improve the restaurant atmosphere. Still room for improvement : dessert still need to be thought (flakes were not crunchy nor tasty so useless).

I came here for dinner and it was wonderful. I truly enjoyed the beef Wellington. The ambience and decor were very nice. I would recommend this place to others and just be sure to make a reservation first.

The food is delicious, the place is beautiful and the service is top. Our waitress, Magdalena, was brilliant, always with a smile in her face and helped us decide what food to get. Thank you for last night! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We've ordered a degustation menu with wine pairing. The food was quite good - appetizers were great, mushroom soup was interestingly intense in flavour, salmon and wellington were just alright - not amazing, but tasty. We were slightly disappointed by the service and the wines. Despite the restaurant being almost empty no one asked how we found the food, wine or the experience. You get the impression of fine-dining fast food. Regarding wines - some were quite interesting (e.g.: sparkling pink) some less so, and the amount served was surprisingly small compared to our previous experiences. Bottom line - ok place, little hospitality given the price tag.

On the Michelin list for a reason. We were quickly shown to seats, Bread a nice taster were shared. Wine was great. Starters - winners were foie gras brûlée, the cheese balls and the cerviche. Moved on to dinner - sea bass and beef wellingtons were the show stoppers and the sides were equally delicious . Service was what you expect. Alround great night.

The best!!! The bream fish with side potatoes au gratin was amazing! Finished with sumptuously complex black forest and cherry liquor. Bravo!

The reason behind this evaluation is a very low level of service. I have a question to the owners and managers why to invest in such nice interior design and not to people? As the impression from being in the restaurant starts from how you are being greeted, welcomed etc. You have a hostess table in the front but no one there, no one knows what to do , how to behave. I booked a table for a big company. I informed this is for birthday party. No one greeted neither me no my guests. Next: for 20 min no one attended us to ask if we want something. I had to go to the bar several times to ask to attend us. The ladies look very unhappy, like we are being there just bothering them. Such an arrogant , pity waitresses. And young boy is trying hard, but it is not enough. I just wanna say that from the restaurant from Micheline guide book I had much higher expectations, the expectations of the experience. The nicest part was only the compliment from the chief - liver pâté with bread. That was five stars. Also the menu - why you gave us printed on A4 white papers, if you had at the counter nicely booked menu? That also is a minus. The food was good, like for 4 star. The vine as well. But I left thirsty and not satisfied. We would probably spend twicer much! Just so you know! And please tell me why the service next door Bistro is a way better, and food also, if the concept and the owner is the same???? Never come back. Not recommended. I can recommend at least 5 better places where you feel lik a super welcomed guest!!!!!!!!!!

(party of 2) Much like everything during our trip to Poland, things were calm and easy; this food, however, packed a punch. An amuse bouche of trout and cucumber started things off. We enjoyed the beef tartare with mustard ice-cream. You read that correctly - mustard ice-cream. The chefs here know exactly how to give a tour to your taste buds. This dish was incredible. Please order this. Next up was a perfectly cooked duck with orange - a very warm and bright dish. If I didn't have to share it, I would selfishly indulge in the whole plate. A light but savory consommé with tomato and Buratta followed. The main course was beautiful handmade linguine tossed in shrimps with sundried and fresh tomatoes and a herb oil garlic sauce. Grateful and full :] The kitchen and staff at Nota deserves much praise - dziękuję

Chose Nota as a nice treat based on a little research. The restaurant is beautiful in the heart of Kraków with both inside and outside dining space. We chose the garden dining area which was lovely after a particularly warm day. Plenty of room and not overcrowded by other tables. Staff were very good, and the meal was at a nice pace, not too slow nor too rushed. All of the food was delicious from the breads, the complimentary chicken tartlet, squid ink pasta with grilled octopus and a steak, cooked to perfection. Great selection of wines to chose from and overall a really enjoyable setting for a romantic meal. Well worth a visit.

We came here for our anniversary and I’m very glad we did. The food was amazing as were the drinks! Tomasz was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and cocktails and helped us choose what to drink. The interior of the restaurant was lovely and the service throughout the night was impeccable. We’ll be coming back next time we’re in Kraków!

Service was very nice! Our host was very sweet and was always there to help us whenever we needed help! Nice selection of wines also. Favorite dish: tartar and the polish dessert (3rd on the menu)

I was so disappointed by this restaurant. I rarely write reviews but after thinking over it I felt I should just so people knew the experience. We visited because it was on the Michelin guide - which has never done us wrong before. The restaurant and decorations were beautiful. The waitress turned her nose up at us when we didn’t order alcoholic beverages and we noticed throughout the night that we were practically ignored compared to tables around us that were drinking alcohol. We were informed the beef wellington would take 40 minutes - so I ordered something else because of how long it would take. I should have just ordered it because we were served a long time later - definitely more than 40 minutes. We never got an apology - or any kind of excuse. The people around us were definitely served quicker than we were. The food was alright - the broccoli was mushy. The food was also not even hot but due to the fact that we waited for so long we were so hungry that we ate it. For the price and the reviews I expected much much better. Michelin should really review this restaurant again.

Localization in Cracow's centrum, a few steps from the main square. Interior amaizing, waiters are really nice and friendly. Starters were first class, tatar and dumplings with duck highly recommended. Filet mignon medium, tasty and kuicy. Only problems I had were the fries with too much oil. Dessert also great. In general I would love to go back, just please fix the french fries. ;)

Excellent service, friendly, prompt and helpful and of course very knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks that are being served. We were advised very well regarding the wines, and our fillet and steak were served just as ordered and tasty amazing just like our sides. The food is very reasonably priced the drinks are excellent but on the pricier side. But can wholly recommend even if visiting with a small child, although it would be better to go late afternoon or early evening in that case. Reservations are recommended. We're very happy to have dined here.

There is a choice of breakfasts, we visit not for the first time, we tried different ones, I liked the possibility of gluten-free baking, but the cuisine is not very tasty.

My meal at Nota Resto was nothing short of remarkable. The garden area is immaculately decorated and creates a warm atmosphere. I started with the salad and had the duck as my main, both were thoughtfully prepared and totally satisfying.

Grilled Tiger Prawns with baby octopus for an appetizer was excellent. The service was good. I chose the wild boar for entree and it was not my favorite. Should have waited a few extra minutes on the beef wellington. Presentation of all courses were beautiful.

The pasta with duck confit was unique and so delicious. I could eat that all day. Great service as well here. Steaks were also perfect!

First meal in Krakow. It’s not cheap, but it’s a good value of money. Service is super nice and they explained you everything with your dishes. The raw beef cookie is sooo gooood!!! Thought it would be weird but it’s actually sweet. The raw beef starter is also mind explosion! Michelin’s Guide, what can I say.

So we booked this via our hotel & were not disappointed. To start we ordered champagne and they brought us a home made bread selection followed by a complimentary tuna tartare. My 1st course was a tiger prawn, chorizo & Black lentil dish & the hubby had steak tartare. Mains were fillet steak with sweet potato fries for me & fries for him. We also ordered a selection of vegetables. The steak came with an oil & also a butter in lieu of pepper sauce I guess.....it was different. We could not finish the veg & had no room for dessert. Fabulous restaurant. Would 100% go back.

Really nice place and food. We ordered Wellington steak and it was delicious. Worth the price. Good selection of wines. Nice limoncello too

I went on 14th of February. The restaurant was half empty. We waited for beef Wellington for 50 minutes and it was not worth it. Meat was not tender. I liked starters. But we were not told that we will be waiting for 50 minutes for the main dish afterwards. I was here last summer and had much better impression of this place.

Amazing restaurant in Kraków old town. Modern dishes with local ingredients

  • 5/5 Max B. 4 years ago on Google
Really friendly staff serving some amazing food. Particularly impressive is their 40 day dry aged steak, which they age on-site. Not only does it have a unique flavour profile but it’s also out-of-this-world tender. The smoked rib soup is also extremely delicious, and the pork belly was cooked to perfection: it just fell apart as you cut into it. The only negatives are that the new potatoes that came with the pork had a slightly bitter aftertaste that was incongruous with the sweetness of the sauce, and they cook the steak a bit more than I’m used to in Continental restaurants. If you’re after a steak that still oozes a bit of blood you would be advised to order it “black and blue” instead of rare.

Delicious steaks and pork perogie (must have). Our waiter was very attentive and knew his stuff. Owner, chef for the national team, has some cool signed jerseys on display below.

the food we had was delicious. steak melted in your mouth; served with some delicious condiment. the started was absolutely amazing, the tiny pickled tomatoes were out if this world. yes, a bit pretentious, the form over substance type place but still delicious, price weren't extortionate.. In the menu, 'condiments' would be better translated as 'sides'. I missed some colour by my steak, i like to have some fresh vegetables, beans, broccoli.. but there was only some fancy nut crusted cauliflower as a side.

Fine and delicious food, lovely staff and atmosphere. But the food is not a ‘wow 5-star experience’ and is comparable to many other good restaurants. Beef Wellington is prepared in very small portions with a small center, resulting in a large portion of the meat being well prepared instead of medium rare.
