The Galaxy Hotel is Krakow is excellent! We were there this past weekend for 3 nights- a group of 32 adults on a Jewish Heritage Tour from Israel. The hotel is walking distance to the Jewish Quarter and the Old Town. Also looking over the beautiful river and park. The rooms are very spacious and very clean and the entire hotel suited us perfectly!!! The staff is super friendly and VERY helpful! I wish I can remember the names of some of the staff and mention them here...Everyone is SO nice .Thank you again! I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in Krakow.

Stay here ever time I visit Krakow! Lovely hotel, near to the Jewish quarter. Hop on Hop off bus owned by this group (Jordan) so stops at the hotel. Great service and award winning restaurant. Would always stay here. Nice gift shop. Breakfast served until 10.30 and it's excellent! Spa and pool too. Rooms are very well appointed, spotlessly clean. Can't fault it!

Hotel Galaxy has a good location overlooking the river and within walking distance to Schindler's Factory museum, Castle and Krakow old town. There is a wealth of history to explore and discover from here with tours bookable from the hotel. The original squares have so much to discover in. A small shopping mall is very close to hotel. Suites are roomy with large bed and good size bathroom with a stand alone shower and bathtub, Higher floors have good views over the river. They have a Spa with swimming pool and jacuzzi and offer treatments and very good massages. Breakfasts are good with all you need. Perfect for a weekend stay or longer.

My friend and I stayed here for a last minute birthday trip. A great find with this hotel, very close walking distance to the shopping centre and krakow old town about 20/25 mins walk. The room was clean and comfortable, quite noisy some nights trying to get to sleep due to being so close to the lift but a comfy sleep none the less. Breakfast options good, and plenty to choose from, also had a massage in the spa which was great, and then used the pool after which was free to use for hotel guests. I would recommend taking your own towels but you do get them given if needed. The staff are very helpful and all have very good English. I would come back here again.

We spent more nights directly after Christmas. I think it was a full house. The room itself is perfect for two people. It was not made up every day. The restaurant is nice, and the breakfast is also perfect. One morning it was totally full, foreigners asked to join our table. The toaster went wrong, it was replaced by the next day. The wellness is too small for this kind of big hotel. The Jacuzzi did not work and was not fixed during our stay. You have to reserve time for visiting wellness, and the number of guests is limited to 16 persons at the same time. They did not answer the call every time, when we wanted to reserve. The opening hours of wellness are a little bit longer during seasons. One of the elevators also was out of work, but that was fixed in an acceptable time. It is not possible checking out in advance, because you have to give back your room cards. We have lost one of our cards, after reporting it was immediately disabled and replaced by a new one. At checkout I had to pay 5 PLN-s, and the recepcionists said it is for a water. I think it was paid for the lost card, because we have not drunk water. Better, and more clear communication along with working services would be a nice improvement.

The staff was friendly and the room was nice (we had a beautiful view). I just have two problems. There was a window from the bathroom to the bedroom and the blinds couldn't be pulled down completely- that was annoying. And I wish there were more vegan options for food. I was only at the breakfast so I don't know about lunch or dinner… also the spa was out of order because it was being cleaned (but they had that on the website so it's not like I didn't know)

Nice and clean hotel. Close (15min walk) to the Jewish area (very nice restaurants and bars) but a bit far from the city center. A mall is very close (3 min walk). However, the staff could use a smile and be a bit more polite. But this seems to be a cultural thing since not many Polish people smile and do small talk with tourist. The reception should still think about this as taking on many international tourists. The Pool & SPA is OK. But the lady in the reception of the spa was very rude, did not even give us towels, so had to go back and ask for it. She did not explain at all how the SPA works so had to figure out most ourselves. Limited or the wantingness of speaking English is overall low, everywhere in Krakow. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its clean rooms and price/quality ratio. Breakfast was also good.

Fascinating name of the hotel - trip through stars in the galactic, but in the elevator 🛗 SPA is good enough - pool and saunas. General areas are well-equipped. Room is good, however shower had issues. Food was tasty. Wifi was not stable.

Fantastic experience! Hotel completely met my expectations based on the pictures. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was massive, clean and had a great air conditioning system! The breakfast was amazing with such a great spread of options. The in-house restaurant was amazing a great value for money. The pool with accompanying sauna was clean and really well managed. There were some great water features in it too! The location was lovely and right next a massive shopping complex and very close to the Jewish quater which has some great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The hotel isn't far from the Old Town either and can easily be walked in about 20 -25 minutes. I would defintely recommend making use of the electric scooters that are all over the place as another quick way of getting around. To get from the airport and back we used Mr Shuttle which is a fantastic service and they also offer some great tours. Overall fantastic time!

Amazing experience here. Rooms lovely and clean, cleaned daily, beds very comfortable. The pool is a massive advantage point with having the sauna and steam room aswel is brilliant! Staff really friendly. Breakfast is very good and has a good selection. Only bad points in our room was the mini fridge is terrible and doesn't keep nothing cool, also the TV has no english channels or even normal music channels and can't connect to a device to play your own, (TV old flat screen)

The reception staff were very friendly and had a kid box with activities. The rooms were very nice but they got a little bit hot and the A/C didn’t work that well. Amazing view. The man at the pool had a little bit of an attitude, but the sauna was very warm and good so was the pool but the pool was a bit cold. Breakfast was something beyond phenomenal.

It was like pulling teeth to get extra towels.Eventually, we got blankets. Smiles from the staff were non-existent the whole time we were there. In the dining room, there were no hot beverage cups on the counter for my tea, so I asked for one. First, the woman pointed to some plastic cups. I told her I couldn't use a plastic cup for boiling water. She then took some cardboard cups out of a bag but put them right back in. When I asked her again, she pointed to a man and said, "Ask him,". When I asked him, he scowled at me, then finally gave me a cup. Miserable bunch of people.

Very comfort room, the staff did not clean the room well, had to ask for free hour at the pool and hot tub because not open all the time

Good hotel. Well appointed. Not the most modern but has everything you need. Ok gym and pool. Short walk/Uber from the centre

I was pretty happy with the comfort and cleanliness, but the food quality was lower and also my eyes were bleeding anytime I went out of my room: The “galaxy” idea went horribly wrong with the interior architecture.

Hotel looks much better in reality than in the pictures. Nice and clean rooms, friendly employees, Nice wellness, but it is older. Location is great, in lively neighbourhood, close to city centre and right next to it is a mall. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Only one disadvantage, we booked our stay through booking.com, and parking fee was not mentioned there. It was shown later in a confirmation email after payment. Generally we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The hotel was great, it was overlooking the river which made for some incredible views. I loved interacting with the staff because they were so friendly and always willing to help. I have to mention that the hotel did not have a conference room, so if you need one, you may have to look elsewhere

Friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonably priced also. Would recommend, however there is about a 25 min walk from there to the main square which should be taken into account when booking.

It's a great place to stay in Krakow. Very close to the old city and a walking distance from some of the main shopping centers in Krakow. The staff was very kind, the place is clean, nice swimming pool and good breakfast.

The staff on reception were friendly. The room was a bit of a let down. Stayed in a lot cheaper accommodation in Krakow which outshines this hotel. The hairdryer was poor. The TV had hardly any channel's. German or Dutch childrens chanel. Some radio station with some American preacher shouting. The pool didn't open until 10 am which was a let down during the holidays. Closed at 19.00. The breakfast was nothing amazing. Standard. I paid over £100 for a one night stay. If you can get the room for £40 maybe stay as it is close to many attractions. Not a 5 star hotel. They need to improve the things I mentioned before coming close to 5 stars.

Very good clean modern hotel in a great location. We arrived at 11 AM and our room was ready for us.The next day we were getting picked up at 6 AM for an excursion and they prepared a packed lunch for all 3 of us.We asked for a late check out on the day we were leaving and we were given until 1 PM for free or for a small supplement until 3PM.We stayed for 3 nights and have absolutely no complaints

Very good room amenities, room was prepared for our stay with baby and two dogs. We have delicious breakfast. Unfortunately lifts were terrible, we often waited for the lift 5 minutes and more. Water in swimming pool was cold. Other parts of SPA we didn’t try.

I strongly recommend this hotel for short and longer stay in Cracow. The rooms are huge, there are chairs and table (so you can even work from the room). Room was very tidy and clean. It's also warm, but there is no thermostat. There is a TV and kettle, cups and tea. There is a small fridge, too. In the wardrobe you can find hair dryer. In the bathroom there is huge shower and shower kit. Brealfast is good. However, there should be more options for vegeterians and vegans. The locations of hotel is great.
