I’ve just spent 6 nights here and the hotel has been spot on. I got my reservation wrong by a day and emailed mid afternoon to change it to the next day and they responded with good cheer (and no charge for my error). I realize it it still Covid times and they may not be full, but I appreciated their grace about it. My room was large, clean, well appointed, and cleaned well each day. The 24 hour staff pop to attention like meerkats every time I enter or exit, which is kind of fun. The only knock is breakfast, which seems very Soviet. Runny eggs and hotdogs floating in water. Limited cold choices that just don’t hold up to fine European hotels’ standards. So much else is great here that I can’t knock them a star. Location, staff, and the property are all worth a stay.

I would say that room is small and basic for a 5 stars hotel. Same downstairs, bar is small and no relaxation area . I would say is more like a 4 stars but staff was really nice and overall we had a nice weekend!

Excellent location (10 min walk from the train station and just inside the ramparts of the old town). Quiet. Friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent mattress. Wonderful breakfast! Nicest hotels we've stayed in for a while.

Perhaps the most friendly, cheerful and helpful staff I’ve ever met at a hotel. The rooms feature grand decor which makes you feel like an important historical figure. Location is convenient as it is on the north side of old town right by all the busy shops yet strangely it is far away enough (by a few steps) that it’s not too noisy.

Very nice hotel, best location. Very close to the main train station, in the old city. Everything is beautiful and special around. The rooms are not bad. The breakfast is medium and there are not many things as it should be in a 5 star hotel.

One of the most beautiful classic hotels in Krakow's old town centre! We stayed in a superior double room that was featured in the hotel’s booklet: exactly looked like in the booklet! So classic, elegant, and homey 😍 the bathroom is so spacious, and the hot water bath is so relaxing. Breakfast options are scrumptious and mostly locally sourced. We had dinner at the hotel. It was not bad at all! The lounge room is warm and so inviting 🤓 nice place to snuggle or read or to do some work 😄 The hotel is not only rich with history but also a member of the Order of Malta, Foundation of the Polish Knights of Malta in Krakow that supported more than 40 Ukrainian people since 28 February 2023 until now. We are proud to stay in a beautiful hotel runs by the noble owners and dedicated team. Thank you for making our stay memorable 💐

I had a pleasant stay at this Hotel. The room was clean, the staff was generally friendly, and the location does not get much better than that. The breakfast service was also pretty good. I would stay here again if I come back in the future.

Beautiful hotel. Such a fabulous location. Central to restaurants and bars. So clean and neat. Attention to detail down to shoe cleaning products in room. Very comfortable. Just perfect

“The room is comfortable, clean, well kept. The bed is very good size, very comfortable. No noise from the busy Clark Adam square whatsoever. The Buda Castle Hill funicular is a few steps away, location is excellent.

Amazing 5* hotel, excellent quiet location in the Old Town. Bedroom was spotlessly clean, daily cleaning. Rooms had hair dryer, tea/coffee, bottled water, toiletries, shoe shine, shower caps, clothes brush, sewing kit, slippers. Mini fridge stocked with minuture alcohol bottles, beer, chocolate, water and nuts (cost was extra). Staff very professional and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, cereals, juices, fresh kiwi juice, champagne, fresh fruit, various teas/coffees, meats, cheeses, cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, beans. Various breads, marmalade, jams, 3 different honeys, pastries, constantly restocked. But the best was the taxi driver, Andrzej(booked through the hotel, cheaper than anywhere else). My husband left his phone (with credit cards) in the taxi, only discovered after going through security 🤦‍♀️. I rang hubby's phone and Andrzej answered and said he was back where we had been dropped off and he would wait for me there. He wouldn't take a reward and replied 'it is normal behaviour to turn back and help you'. So a 10* for Andrzej. An excellent hotel and taxi driver 👍

We stayed here for three days. It is very close to the main entrance to the old city area and is very convenient to the train station and local transportation. We reserved a standard double room which was a bit small, but very nice. There was a problem with the thermostat and the A/C was a bit chilly for Floridians. They upgraded us to a de lux room which was spacious and luxurious. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. If you like a buffet breakfast, you will love this place. I would stay here just to eat.

Perfect hotel all around. My husband and I stayed in one of the deluxe rooms for our honeymoon and the pictures didn't do the place justice. The staff was all very friendly and helped assist us with an early checkin and storing our bags for a few hours after checkout. The concierge even helped me mail out a few postcards I had written. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends or family.

The hotel itself is just a few steps away from the old city, it’s a Michelins star due to spotlessly clean. One of the best hotel in town, I highly recommend this hotel to all the tourists out there for your next visit. Make sure the bathrobes are in place. Staffs are kind and approachable, Polite and helpful, plus they’ve allowed me to check in early for free. The breakfast menu were ok and dining area were nicely decorated topnotch poshness. Where they’ve allowed me to pack foods I wants to take it with me. Thank you so much

Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spotless. Fresh towels each day and room service if wanted. Fully stocked mini bar. Located right beside main square. Didn’t try breakfast or dinner in restaurant but had a couple of cocktails from the bar and they were delicious as well as cheaper than many bars around main square.

Proper 5 star hotel, and unbeatable value at approx 100 euro a night with excellent breakfast. Just a 5 minute walk to the main old market. New refurbished rooms, very clean, and great staff. Can't be beat!!

A big thank you to all the staff working in this hotel for their excellent service. Very tidy and very comfortable bed. I really appreciated that.

Main reason for my booking here was the ability to cancel at 5 PM on day of the arrival for free. I didn't cancel. The room was large, elegantly arranged and I wish I could have stayed longer. I wish I had a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub shower but it's just a personal preference, I guess... Will be back if in Kraków again

We arrived way too early but was allowed to check in. Reception staff was warm and friendly. Our room was amazing, but too warm so we turned the heating off. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. We also had dinner on second night. Food was out of this world but a challenge to finish as it was too much. Would highly recommend.

This review should have more stars. The people at the front desk were very helpful, the location is amazing (!!), and the decor is quite interesting (what you'd want when you stay in old town). However, we kept noticing things that made us wonder about the hotel's cleanliness. In my posted photos, you'll see cobwebs that were in the corner right by my beside, right about eye-level when standing - they should have been noticed and cleaned. In another photo, you'll notice Along the same wall, that at about waist-level (not hidden), near the window, and what I had to look at every morning as I got out of bed, splatter of something dark. For that reason, this review only gets three stars instead of the five I would have normally given :-(

Absolutely astonishing and just a wonderful stay. The Hotel and the History is amazing. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and their attentive service is appreciated highly. Special thanks to Matias, the receptionist who had marked my stay with such meaningful attention, conversations and knowledge about Polands History and above. I recommend this beautiful and traditional Hotel 300%. Heartfelt thanks, FERNANDO

This is what I came to Poland for. Not the chrome modern look of every hotel out there, but a classic old world, step back into another era place. This hotel just ticks every box. Great greeting at reception. Clean, well located and oozes charm. Beds are very comfy.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel as well as the wonderful service from super awesome and friendly staff! Everything was fantastic and I could not wait to write a review to thank Oscar for helping us to get our plans finalized! Thank you Oscar for taking the time to help to arrange everything for us during our time in Krakow including a taxi pick up at the airport and getting us to our Auschwitz tour. Our taxi driver made sure we did not miss the tour despite the fact that our flight was delayed and we had a tight window to make it to the tour. Rafal made sure we were on the tour bus while he took care of our luggage and took it to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel our luggage was waiting in our room as well as complimentary wine and fruit tray and a welcoming letter! We Loved it! Since we were traveling with 2 children we stayed in the apartment with 2 beds! Wow it was spectacular with amazing views of the Florian gate! Cannot emphasize enough how amazing the location of this hotel is! Breakfast was great in a beautiful setting with the option to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful patio! Inside of the restaurant the decor reminded us of the rich history of Krakow! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!!!! Everything about it was great and we loved the air conditioning!!!! 😂 Transportation to and from the airport was also very convenient and taxi drivers were so nice and friendly! Thank you Rafal and Andrzej again!!!!! Great stay overall with best location one could have wished for! I would give 10 stars if I could! THANK YOU!

Amazing stay! Location, amenities, staff, food. Everyone and everything is great about this place. The decor and history and the restaurant. If noise is an issue request anything on 2nd floor and higher due to music in bar. No complaints otherwise. I stayed here two times; worth the price.

We had a great stay for 3 nights. The room was beautiful, clean, and well furnished and decorated. Something else that’s very important is the hotel has character. It looks and feels like a grand hotel of an earlier time, despite offering modern amenities. The staff were very polite and helpful, and assisted us in scheduling tours to Auschwitz and the salt mine. Perhaps most importantly, the location is fantastic. Right outside is the old medieval wall and barbican. Restaurants and shops are right outside as well, and it is a 5 minute walk to the main square, 10 minutes to the train station, and about 15 minutes to Wawel Castle.
