The hotel is central and the staff is very polite, especially at breakfast. I loved the billiard room and the way the lobby and the stairs looked. We booked a deluxe room and it was alright, I didn't like the bathtub - shower mix , the bathtub to small and the shower to messy... It's alright for 1 or 2 nights and the breakfast is amazing, but i wouldn't come here again since the rooms were not really my taste.

Excellent hotel. Very clean and neat. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Very friendly stuff. The hotel is very close to the big square and yet the street is very quiet. 15 min by foot to the old city of kazimirz. 15 min by foot to the big mall. The restaurant is one of the best we have ever ate, with very good prices. We warmly recommend it as a place to stay and eat when in Krakow.

The hotel is beautiful inside, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast service is excellent. However, there is one caveat that makes this hotel a place that should be avoided at all cost. One night, we were talking in our room past midnight (normal tone, no music, no shouting, no party). A staff member came up to silence us due to the complaint from a guest next door. The following night, new guests came to the room above us and they were loud (shouting, loud laughter). Sure, we could make a complaint to the staff too but that's not the point. This is not a dorm and people should have a right to at least talk in their rooms past midnight. This is not possible here, and that is likely due to thin walls and poor insulation. Overall, this means very little privacy, very little freedom of vacation enjoyment, and very little tranquility. That should not be the case of a 4* hotel, and this is the very reason why this hotel should be avoided at all cost. If you decide to stay here, you need to be absolutely dead quiet after 10PM and you also need to pray that your neighbors are quiet too.

Beautiful Hotel and great location. Comfortable beds Just a pity about everything else. 1. No welcome. 2. Dirty bedsheets and under beds. 3. Breakfast ordered in restaurant but never arrived was told I would receive refund but had to explain about the situation again when leaving. 4. Staff unfriendly 5. Breakfast options not suitable to everyones taste. Given how expensive this hotel is to stay along with the bar bill. I would not recommend.

Boutique hotel from another era. The room was gorgeous but modern. The restaurant was delicious though we only had breakfast.

Excellent hotel. Next door the outstanding "Princes Czartoryski Museum" (which has a painting by Leonardo). Beautifully renovated preserving and enhancing period features. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent. Short walk to the main Square.

4 star hotel with 5 star service. Great place to stay while visiting Kraków. Classy, quite spacious rooms in the city centre, tasty food, friendly staff. A bit historical place as Polish Olympic Committee was founded there.

Room was good, quite. Hotel located at the corner of the old town, there no view from the rooms. You have to ask in addition for some facilities, as they do not provide slippers, for example.

Big rooms, clean, comfortable, we got room w/ breakfast option. Breakfast was very good off the menu. Location right in old town.

I would definitely recommend Hotel Francuski to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Krakow. The hotel is located in a great location, close to all the major attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that I had a comfortable stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant that serves delicious food. The service in the restaurant was also excellent.

Recently stayed here for a business trip and was allocated a twin single room, however the lady at check-in changed it to a double FOC. The building is great with clean, decent sized rooms. The things to let it down, rude porters, and the waitress shoving a card machine in my face asking me to pay for breakfast whilst I’m trying to eat. The noise level during the night was also frustrating due to the adolescent laughing and banging.

Hotel Francuski is definitely a hidden gem of Krakow, a minute walk to the main square. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are beautiful. I initially booked a single room for myself, however when arriving I was upgraded to a double room - free of charge!! I can't recommend this place enough! If I return il definitely been booking again! Thanks Hotel Francuski for making me feel comfortable.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Krakow old town. Walking distance to all good pubs, restaurants, cafes and tourist activities. Very nice staff and they will help you to book transport to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines.

I first stayed at this property 11 years ago to the day and loved it and have been looking forward to returning. The hotel was recently refreshed/renovated and it looks amazing inside. The updates have completely modernized the rooms and bathrooms and the entire place feels brand new but retained the elegant charm and architecture. Staff was just as friendly as I remembered and where happy to help with anything you need. It's close to the main square but far enough away it's quiet and peaceful sitting right along the park. 10 min walk to the main stration, <5 to the main square. It's really just a great property and so close to everything. I will definitely be back.

We keep coming back as it is home away from home. The team there treats us very well and they usually receive us with sweets and macarons in the room for us , and all sort of goodies for our pups. When we need anything at all, Maciej or Igor will make it happen without asking further questions. The girls are very helpful too. The only “con” I would say is that, if you are a light sleeper, I’m and other guests are not mindful, it’s not difficult to wake up because of the noise. If you are a normal sleeper, you will not have that issue. They have just renovated the facade and it’s just beautiful. We’ll be back soon for sure 🐶🐶💛💛

Excellent location right in the heart of Old Town Krakow literally 5 minute walk from the main square. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi. We ate in the Hotel Restaurant the first night. The food and service were excellent with a good varied menu. The only reason we did not eat there again is because we wanted to explore Krakow and sample some other restaurants. Will definitely visit and stay here again in the future

Great location. The hotel is near a lot of different shops. I also planned some tours and concerts and they were all very close. The area is also very beautiful and has a lot of great architecture. The hotel staff are very helpful. They helped me get a driver to the airport and to Auschwitz at a reasonable price. They were also willing to help me find somewhere good to eat. The hotel décor is also very nice, same with the rooms. It's a very pretty building and set up in general. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good. I enjoyed my food there a lot. They were also able to make it gluten free (I have celiac) and still make it taste good. It's all reasonably priced as well. I didn't feel like I was wasting my money by staying here or getting ripped off.

The hotel is on the edge of the historic old town but it is only 5 minutes walk to the central main square and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The public areas are spotlessly clean and welcoming and the front of house staff are friendly and very helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Our room was on the third floor at the front and we didn't hear any noise from the street or from other rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and bottled water and tea/coffee making facilities were available. We ate out so can't comment on the restaurant. We can highly recommend this hotel for couples.

Great hotel. Very clean, looks like it was updated recently, friendly staff. Will stay here again anytime fall through spring. That’s the one star deduction is technically they have air conditioning, but it’s a cold water pipe type, and not very effective. The beautiful windows open, but the street can get a bit noisy early and late when the bars close. Spend the money for the upgraded room, as it’s much larger (twice as large), and has a second toilet which is very convenient. This was our third hotel in krakow this summer and my kids favorite. Our other hotels were the Holiday Inn, and Hotel Indigo, both just outside the old city wall. Being within the city wall is better.

Excellent hotel service, friendly professional staff. Highly recommend. Lovely breakfast from the card + cold buffet, covered tables. Clean and quiet area, modern design, spacefull apartments, even single room can give you a full of space, high ceilings. Bathrobes, slippers provided to each room. Luxury hotel bath cosmetics, such a nice fresh fragrance. Great location in Old Town.

The hotel was recently renovated and was very quiet, which was very important for me as I am a light sleeper. Also, the hotel is located right in the vibrant old town. It should be mentioned that the hotel is a 4 - star hotel and does not offer parking, but there are several options near the hotel. Unfortunately, a valet parking service is not offered. Breakfast was quite rich with a buffet and a sumptuous a la carte menu. It took less than ten minutes to prepare and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A stay at the Francuski Hotel is definitely recommended.

This hotel is well suited to the atmosphere of Krakow. Five minutes walk from the main square, a restaurant with an excellent menu and service very reasonably priced and an atmospheric bar. The room was large with TV, radio, coffee making facilities and shower. What does set the standard are the staff with a very special mention to Ola at reception. Upon our arrival Ola contacted a restaurant which I had previously chosen to celebrate mine and my wifes' wedding anniversary on the 9 Feb to make the necessary arrangements (Wierzynek restaurant, strongly recommended for the special occasion). To my surprise, on the 9 Feb upon returning to our room from a day of sight seeing was a bottle of wine with a note congratulating us on our anniversary from the hotel. The only person who knew of our anniversary was Ola. This thoughtful act set my opinion of the hotel up two notches. All the staff were excellent and friendly.

Well positioned. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. A little dated, but must have been top class in it's day. Great value. If you like old world charm.

A hotel in the style of the famous past of Krakow. The rooms are carefully kept today in the liked French style of this time. Service is also from a better time and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Didnt know what to expect, but it went beyond my expectations. Clean and friendly, staff were most helpful. The photo is from the dining room window. The hotel & scenery is like from an old fashioned film and the music added the ambiance....Excellent Xx

Location wise this is absolutely spot on if you want to stay in the old Krakow town. It’s a bit stressful if you’re driving here but once here the guys on reception are more than happy to park your car for you in nearby car park. The Hotel itself is very luxurious we stayed in the Deluxe double room and it’s like a mini suite. For breakfast there was a selection of cold meats and cheese in the buffet part and you could also order from a menu. This Hotel is certainly worth every penny
