I stayed only for a night in this hostel and I didnt find the vibe warm this can only be my own experience so it is not because of this that i am giving 3 stars . the toilet was in a a bad condition eventhough it was supposed to be only for our room which had only 4 people. no shampoo and even hand washing liquid could be found there. however the location is good

It is in a great location that allowing easy walks to both the Jewish Square and the old town. The beds were comfortable (we didn't have a problem, even if it wobbled a little), the sheets and the hotel in general were clean. employees were polite. The garden and common areas are beautiful, although they seem to close a little early at the night – perhaps you have more information on that. Security is not a concern, providing a comfortable stay. Would recommend it!

Absolutely FIRST CLASS hostel. Clean, safe, secure. 247 reception, bedlights, plug sockets for each bed which also have safety bars. Clean showers and wonderful gardens The room has individual lockers, very light, EXCELLENT location 10 minutes from main square

The place is clean and well equipped. There's a nice smoking area in the back and a decent common area by the kitchen. The downside are the squeaky and shaky beds, and the wifi is slow.

The pillows were very thin, which made it very hard to sleep. Also my bedroom door didn’t lock when closed meaning anybody could walk in. Sometimes they had no towels available so I had to dry myself with my jumper once.

One would think that the least a staff member could do at a hostel in a touristic city is be friendly, but a female receptionist here was so unwelcoming, cold, and brisk that I decided to cancel my stay before even checking in! I gladly forfeited the $40 for my first night's stay and moved into an apartment. My guess is that my skin color was the issue at hand, and I don't think it's a far-fetched guess, judging from my overall experience in Poland...

Overall nice hostel, good value for the price. it looks relatively recent, spacious dorms (at least mine), large lockers , table to work on. Decent location (10min walk to the main Square) Just the bunk beds are cheaply made/ noisy and Wifi is so so.

There were a few annoying things like the squeaky floor and beds (if I remember correctly), plus the automatic light switch in the bathroom. I mean you can easily not notice the step before the light switches on. Having ten beds in one dorm felt a bit much for me, but I guess I can't complain considering it was less than PLN 50 a night. At times, I also felt that the number of toilets and showers was insufficient. Other than that, the location is great and the reception was helpful, although they didn't tell me I could get a towel for an extra fee. Overall I'd say it was 4/5—definitely worth the money. :)

One star for never answering the phone and 10am checkout. Staff acted like they didn't know their phones don't work. Rented a private room/bathroom. The smell of sewer coming from the private bathroom was so strong it was difficult not to throw up. Bed sheets were stained with red substance. Bugs were jumping on me all night. The price was very high but better hotels were not available on the weekend. No hair dryer, had to buy my own soap to shower with. The communal kitchen had filthy couches and bugs jumping on me. Total rip off.

I put 2 stars and I will explain why. It is very personal point of view. I stayed 1 week in Atlantis Hostel in a shared dormitory with private bathroom. The bed sheets, mattress were not luxurious but fine for the price and after I changed the pillow it was OK. However I could not sleep any of the nights during the trip because the metallic bunk beds are terrible! You can just feel any move of the person on the top or bottom bunk bed, so if you are sensitive I would never recommend you to book a stay in a dormitory! I feel exhausted after one week, and I even want to say I will never book a hostel anymore, lesson learned! The positive sides: attractive price and spacious common areas even though furnitures are quite old, and cleaning everyday. I stayed in January so not high season but I can also tell that this hostel brings any type of guests, not only travelers but also people who just use the hostel as their home with regard to the price. Nothing bad happened but I could maybe advise to book a female dormitory for a woman.

Very clean rooms with large lockers for belongings. The man at front desk was extra helpful even with the more difficult guests. Bar on site with reasonably priced drinks. Luggage storage, friendly staff and good wifi. Well located close to the centre with a range of shops within a few metres.

Staff were friendly, short walk from nearby train station. My initial impression of the area from walking from train station wasn't great but once I'd settled into the hostel it was good and it's a nice place with friendly people.

Huge hostel with spacious rooms and affordable prices. Plug and light provide to everyday bunk. Huge storage luggage room is available and common area is huge. There is bar too. En-suite bathrooms are well fitted . Hostel has underwent renovation making it best. Not a loud place.

You can hear everything- the walls are paper thin. Do not recommend staying here if you are a sensitive sleeper getting a private room shared bathroom.

Definitely the worst hostel in Krakow ever. The rooms are not bad I wouldn’t reject it, but service is awful. Terrible and unpleasant administration who even don’t care about guests comfort and don’t take anything into account. The administrator was the first person I’ve spoken to in Krakow and this conversation left the feeling of very unpleasant people there. Disappointed.

Perfect location and excellent rooms! The beds are really comfy (it makes a little noise tho). Bathrooms clean and with soap and hairdryer included. Amazing kitchen

Rooms are good and it provides enough, the customer service depends on which receptionist will be there, either very good or terrible. It doesn't have an elevator but it is at the 1st floor. The hostel bar seemed fun and the location is quite close to center, needs a little walking

Near the main square of the city and other very attractive places. The beds are good. The only black point is the shape of the bathrooms with some water leaks. The price is very good too.

There is a lot of creepy people, specially middle aged men. They looked weirdly at us, say things, do not always respect personal space and steal food from the fridge. They should worn the customers about don't do this kind of things. I fully don't recommend the hostel for solo travelers women. They don't check if the people who enter in the hostel/kitchen are currently customers or not. It is well emplaced, the bathroom, bedrooms and kitchens are fine, but it would be greater if they clean the kitchen earlier in the morning and if the bedroom curtains work properly. For being in big groups and if you are not going to left food there it could be okay, but I won't return or recommend it.

Beds are moving really badly, if someone flips on the other side the whole bed frame moves and makes a lot of sound. Also a "really beautiful" view from the window. The space in the shower to get undressed is really small and there is an open shower selling where someone could easily reach over and record you. The pillows and covers are really old and clumped up into balls also there is hair on the covers like its badly washed or not even washed only ironed

A decent stay, of the worse things: the inside of the building feels a bit cold, the beds could be more solid and there are not key cards. Aside from that, this is a good hostel with a nice social space/kitchen and helpful staff :)

Friendly, professional, exceptionally well-organized staff. First night I was in a female dorm which did indeed have street noise and squeaky beds. I asked to extend my stay and they apologized that all they had to offer was a mixed dorm. But it was perfect!! Eight sturdy beds (four bunkbeds) with lots of space divided into two rooms, sharing a private bathroom. Huge windows, view of orchard. Powerful electricity and reliable wifi. Large kitchen and common area, equipped with basics for cooking almost anything. Games available for socializing. Great location on the secondary plant promenade, between Old City and Kazimierz, near Wawel and bridge to Kosciuszko Mound. 45-minute walk to quarry/park for swimming, rock-climbing. Infinite minimarkets nearby. Would stay again.

Staying at this hostel for 3 nights I have nothing to really complain about (only the drunk room mates the first night). The rooms were spatious and have very large lockers, the bathroom was large and clean, and the staff was really nice. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in Krakow, then this hostel is a recommendation.

A regular in and out hostel with no particular charm. Conveniently located between Old Krakow and Kazimierz.

First off, the location is perfect. The rooms were also quite tidy and clean. Now for the reason I only give 3 stars: I had old bloodstains in my bedding. The mattresses of multiple beds were sedated. A friend of mine and myself woke up with backpain as a result of this. I wouldn't want to stay longer than one night with this mattress, as it would have ruined the weekend in krakau for me.

Clean, good location. Pillows. I've stayed in over a hundred hostels all over and none of them exposed me to such a miserable experience, it was like sleeping on a rock.

Keeping in mind that it is a low cost Hostel, it is a nice place. The bathroom was fine with a good shower despite the fact that some guests has bad habits and the toilet had the smell of urine (again, this is not the hostel fault). The staff was nice and kind. Unfortunately I can't give more than 3 stars because I asked for a bed at the bottom of the bunk and the answer was simply "we will try but cannot guarantee". I have more than 140kg and I have a huge difficulty to reach the upper bed. Furthermore, the bed was totally unstable and all the movements (even the small ones) on the bottom bed or upper bed shake the entire bunk. Definitely I had a terrible time there. And this is my advice for clients: make sure you will be able to cancel if your requests couldn't be attended. I bought the non refund package and I regret for that.

An excellent hostel. I stayed in 2 different dorms and both were spacious, with excellent beds and baths. There are 3 common rooms on the 1st floor - one for dining/working and two sitting areas - and the kitchen is one of the best I've seen in a hostel. (The bar next to reception is currently closed.) Within 200m are supermarkets & tram stops. It's a short walk to the Wawel Castle and the Kazimierz neighborhood across the street is quite lively on the weekend.

The Hostel is Very Clean, they have a kitchen with plenty of utensils, cooker, hob, free tea/coffee. They have plenty of spaces to relax in the lounge room and dining area, there is a balcony to smoke and chill on. The beds are super comfy and very clean. You are no more than 15 mins from any direction of Krakow. And the biggest thing is you get all this for £5 a night it's amazing. Enjoy the trip as much as I have.😉

Loved it! The girls and the guy on the reception desk are really helpful. The room was warm, the bathroom was clean, even tho I was with 5 other persons in the room. The beds are cozy and the blanket was warm, it felt like a huge cloud just wrapped around my body.

Absolutely exceptional! One of the best hostels I've booked in a very long time! Given the size - it seems to be incredibly well-managed. The staff were cheery and efficient. The location was superb, and free luggage storage was available. My room was super clean - with a perfectly maintained bathroom and the kitchen/ lounge area was cosy, and housed a good travel vibe. Security was also 110% with individual codes needed to enter the kitchen and room areas as-well-as a separate key for each room. Perfect stay, would recommend 👍

Amazing hostel. Perfect location, clean rooms and building in general. The workers are very friendly and good. Only minus i would say a sound that makes floor. It's very hard to enter the room and not wake roommates up.

Brilliant for the price. Staff really helpful and friendly.. just don't be expecting five star. Six of us booked here and no complaints. Bit of a walk from the old town / main square. Although it is a nice walk in the summer.

Location of the hostel is perfect. Price is reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with payment while making a reservation, and they offered different options to resolve it.

Great accommodation. As we are not in our 20's anymore, we had private room with bathroom. Everything was freshly renovated and super clean. Our room was on 4 floor (no elevator) with great view to Wawel!!! 😍 we didn't use it but there is social siting area and kitchen on first floor. High recommendation. 👌

Very kind staff, great service. Rooms are clean and calm. Good location. Hard to find a parking lot in the area, for those who travel overland.

You have two option toilet to share with others, or room where is your toilet, Its good place to be there, nice guys and girls, only you need to walk like 40 mins to center from hostel but good price and you have kitchen also, so cheers!

  • 4/5 Franco F. 1 year ago on Google
I slept here for two nights, the first in a truly fantastic and quiet garden view room; the second in a nice but really noisy room facing the street especially due to the presence of people in the common areas (and on the balcony) who were chatting until 4.30 (when I then got up and ran away). Therefore hostel recommended only if you make sure you have a room with a garden view.

  • 4/5 Morgan S. 1 year ago on Google
Good Hostel if you just want to sleep and chill out. The atmosphere isn't too great and the hygiene in the bathrooms was a bit questionable. Also the beds made a lot of noise and weren't really comfortable. It does have a big common room and kitchen which is nice
