The tower is impressive from the outside, but nothing special inside. I was expecting an old climbing system in the form of a spiral staircase, or at least ordinary stone blocks like in the Town Hall but...i saw common one like in your block. You can visit and not very expensive, but I advise you to pay attention to other services in the castle

Sandomierz Tower, located at the top of the Wawel, is a nice viewpoint and tickets can be bought at the ticket office on saturday, sunday and monday starting at 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.

This recently restored former prison tower is a separate exhibit from your castle ticket, so you have to pay for it separately. It's not exactly impressive, its just a prison tower (for the nobles) but it is interesting enough if you have the extra time. There is a small exhibit on each landing, and the views from the top are ok.

Sandomierz Tower,m is a nice viewpoint offering astonishing lookouts to the Wavel castle, the ricer Wisla and whole Krakow city. You can climb up to the top in couple of minutes. The admission is 10 PLN for adults, and there is reduced price for minors and seniors. You can buy tickets directly at the tower - there is ticket machine next to the stairs, payment by cash, card including contactless. Recommended 👍🏻🇵🇱

A beautiful observation tower on Wawel Hill. It costs a bit to enter but is definitely worth it. Short climb and great views.

Didn’t go up the tower but walked past this. Beautiful! Nice walk around town

Great historical location in Kraków. This is a artillery tower and part of the Wavel castle defenses constructed in 1460 under great reign of Casimir IV Jagiellon.

Visitable tower within the Wawel castle area. It has views towards the Vistula River, although they are not spectacular. Climb through stairs. From the outside the tower is beautiful. Perhaps on high season days it would be advisable to get tickets in advance.

The views from the top are worth it. There's a bit of history to each viewing window.

For an international tourist, it’s a tower. Not too tall. Not much to look at at. View is fine. Not a “must do” activity at all. I didn’t feel compelled to take pictures, even.

the prison tower (the wall is full of bay windows...), does not attract any attention, which is probably a good thing.

Went up this tower and not only was it fascinating to see the inside of an ex artillery tower but we were also treated to a fantastic view of the city. Each level had information boards explaining its history including what it was used for as well as the amount of times it was rebuilt and by who. Absolute bargain at 5pln pp and highly recommend. There's a few steps to get up to the top but good exercise to get your heart beating 😁
