Stumbled across this place on our way to other, and I’m so happy we did. We had a delicious breakfast and very good coffees. The interior is very colourful and homely and the staff was very kind and nice with us. I would definitely recommend this place!

The best vegan waffle in Krakow 🤤 it’s like fluffly but crunchy and the creams were just amazing 🌱

Very accommodating to dietary requirements! (vege, vegan, gluten free, low sugar etc Having a gluten free crepe with vegan cheese and waffles with avocado was a treat for my partner. Drinks were decent, but the food was the star for sure!

Had a lovely breakfast and was so impressed by the amount of vegan options (over half of the menu was vegan friendly). The bagel was particularly good, and the crepes were beautifully presented. Really cute place, and our server, Sylvia, was very accommodating, helpful and able to answer any queries we had. Thank you 😊

Gluten free heaven! (And also other food restrictions as nuts and dairy free items). I had Sunday morning breakfast waffle and a cake for dessert. It was delicious! The stuff speaks very good English. Highly recommend!

My mum and I were so excited to see so many vegan and gluten free options! We were having trouble finding gluten free and we were so happy we finally found some gluten free pierogi! The staff were wonderful, they spoke English and were friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious, plenty of options to choose from and the cafe is gorgeous. I'd definitely recommend for breakfast or a nice cake!

Came here for a filling and healthy vegan breakfast during a long weekend in Krákow. Lots of vegan options to choose from including sweet and savoury breakfast choices. Great coffee and very friendly service. Nice ambiance too.

Centrally located, the staff speaks excellent English. I had the kinder cake, it was infused with some freshening agent, quite unexpected but not unpleasant. Decaf coffee with milk, the flavour was not quite there. The atmosphere is quite cool, pops of colour and music. The seating capacity is around 50 people including outside, I can imagine coming here with a group of friends. Edit: it smells quite strongly of coconut oil.

Beautiful place, low ceiling upstairs but still very cozy and beautiful styling. Sadly it took 20 minutes to take my order and the food arrived cold. The waitress didn't seem like having a good time... However, the food was nice.

Super comfy small Café with tasty vegan cakes, a large variety of vegan waffles and vegan breakfast options. The staff is very kind and the location is close to the main market. For plant based lovers definitely worth a visit!

For our first breakfast in Krakow we picked a great place to eat in the old city. All our choices were super fresh and delicious. Service and atmosphere are amazing.

Good, allergy-friendly, vegan-friendly food. Full ingredients and nutritional information for every item are listed on the menu, so you can make choices around your needs. I had the vegan waffle with pan-fried apples and coconut cream, and they were ok. The texture of the waffles wasn't amazing, the whole lot needed to be sweeter, the apples were cold, and the cream was a bit weird. It definitely wasn't my favourite vegan food in Kraków, but it was nice enough. Staff were also lovely and the decor and vibe of the place is great.

Cafe for people with all kinds of food allergies (or those who have self imposed restrictions) - gluten, lactose, vegan. Breakfast is served all day. The savory waffles were "good", the vegan brownie looked better than it tasted, and the coffee was average.

  • 5/5 Alice C. 2 years ago on Google
Not what we were expecting, but considering it was sugar-free we were impressed! The savoury crepes were a big portion and just right. The sweet pancakes looked small when they arrived but were actually just right. Hot chocolate (dairy-free) was also very good.

First visit was a 5/5, second time, maybe 3/5 so I give it a 4 as an average. I don't know if it was different because of the chef or more crowded and more hectic for the staff. From our experience we would recommend coffee and smoothies for drinks and for the food it has to be the bagel or the sweet crepes 😀 Would visit again for sure.

Overall a great pick. We visited because we read a bunch of good reviews. To start off, as soon as you step in you feel that cozy vibe maybe not too much, but its there. The catalogue is lacking options regarding the food but it makes up for it with the addition of kcal next to the options and their toppings - additional ingredients, which is arguably a rare find. What surprised me in a good way is that this place promotes healthier eating by having options for people with special dietary preferences.

I've just been to Cakester Cafe for brunch, they have amazing vegan options! I had the Scrambled Tofu with toast and salad, a Crepe with skillet apples & cinnamon with vegan cream cheese and caramel sauce and a flat white with oat milk. Everything was fresh and delicious! The staff are lovely and friendly, the ambiance is very nice, there are seats outside and plenty of space inside as well. Prices are very reasonable, I definitely recommend this place!

Really liked it here! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, I recommend trying the bagel + scrambled eggs combo. What we liked most: latte, fresh orange juice and vitamin smoothie! The only thing we recommend to improve is the seating - table hight ratio 😂. The table seems to be lower than I’m usually used to. Overall, I’d rate our experience 4,9/5! I would come back here 😊

An ambiguous place) specifically visited twice and made the following conclusions: Undoubted advantages: - Very convenient layout of the seats, especially upstairs - Extremely delicious waffles with poached eggs and salmon. The portion is so large that when I visited the restaurant very hungry, I still had to take half of it with me and still had enough for a full dinner at home. What impressed me negatively was the absolutely tasteless desserts. At first, I chose this cafe based on the reviews and photos of the cakes, because I really wanted to try a delicious treat. And for the first time in my life, I just couldn't finish it. Perhaps it's a matter of taste, but I'm an expert in sweets and in every city I specifically look for new delicious places...

Great restaurant with some great vegan options. I got the crape and a latte and both very nice. Service was quick and friendly. They also serve vegetarian and meat options as well so great place for everyone if your travelling in a group.

On the last day of our Krakow trip we came here for breakfast. This place is very nice, with a good service, cozy seats and delicious food. We had bagels, waffles and a vegan brownie. Everything was sugarfree and absolutely delicious. Huge bonus: there was exclusively Taylor Swift music playing and we are passionate Swifties.

We were on the hunt for good vegan waffles and picked Cakester based on the reviews. But wow when we walked in, all we could smell was ..burnt oil. We thought, okay, maybe the food will be great. We got waffles, a vegan chocolate cherry cake, and coffee. Surprisingly, the coffee was the only star here. The waffles were kind of weird with a baking powder aftertaste, and they were super dry. The cake was okay, but we felt it cost more than it should. The worst part? The smell stuck to our clothes all day.

We have enjoyed several excellent meals at Cakester. The staff are lovely and Veronika made us very welcome. We particularly needed gluten free options for one celiac in our group and this felt a safe place for her.

Excellent cafe close to square, plenty of options on the menu and easy to add extra items. Food was a lot quicker than the estimated wait time which we were told before being seated.

Excellent place serving tasty, healthy breakfast. I had orange juice, black coffee and a fried egg cheese bagel, scrambled eggs and side salad, for 69 zloty.

  • 3/5 Tilen D. 6 months ago on Google
Very mid for the price. The cafe was full and service was slow. The food was ok, but not good enough for the price. The bagle and scrambled eggs had too much fat/oil and they tested meh. The drinks prices also to high for a meh coffe.

Great gluten free options. All is sugar free, only natural sugars. I recommend

Went for an early morning breakfast - so many gluten free options. We shared sweet perogi and a crepe! Absolutely delicious. Lots of GF cake options too.

I am extremely glad the people spoke English. That being said the breakfast did not fill me up even with the added beans. I am 40kg, I got the scrambled eggs + beans and a cup of tea. The food was indeed fresh, be mindful they don't add salt or pepper to your food you have to ask for it. The inside of the place was a ma zing decorated and extremely cute with a lot of vegetarian options and some vegan ones. The salad dressing was also magnificent!

Stumbled across this place on our way to other, and I’m so happy we did. The vibe in this place is immaculate, great music and aesthetic. The food is delicious. This is a perfect place to start your day with an amazing breakfast. The service was great!

Better the service than the food. A bit pricey for the food quality. Probably we won't repeat it.

  • 5/5 Sofie L. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing breakfast! Vegan and unsweetened options. Breakfast selection includes sweet and savory waffles, pancakes and toasts as well as eggs. Can highly recommend the waffles that come with fresh fruit, two toppings of choice and a sauce.

I'm not sure that it's good price-quality balance, and dishes are for those who likes vegan food. Definetely not for everyon, but usual pancakes are tasty

  • 5/5 Despina K. 2 years ago on Google
Brilliant, fully gluten free cafe, really worth the visit! As a coeliac I felt totally reassured as no cross-contamination! Really delicious cakes.

We waited for breakfast for about an hour, and the waiter did not warn about it. Update after answering: It is interesting that you are comparing yourself to McDonald's. Do you really think that the staff should not warn guests that the eggs will be cooked for an hour? Moreover, we had to remind about the order ourselves. Love that McDonald’s reference. We waited for 1h15min before we eat something. There is just two things that will make this experience nicer: 1) to know about the delays before we ordered 2) have some feedback from you after let’s say 20-30min Without this we felt forgotten.

What a fun place. The food is excellent, the service is pleasant and good, the atmosphere is excellent especially the music. Glad to know that there is such a cozy place in Krakow. I'll be sure to visit on my next trip to the city.

Superb vegan breakfast!!! They do vegan cakes, waffles, pancakes, crepes and more, both savoury and sweet, with a wide range of topping options. Absolutely delicious, 10/10!

  • 3/5 Laura 2 years ago on Google
Overrated. Coffee was cold and 45 minute wait for average food which is overpriced in comparison to other restaurants in the area which are of better quality. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and spoke very good English.

Very nice cafe with a good selection of sugar and gluten free healthy breakfast dishes. We were very satisfied with the quantity and quality of our dishes. Cakes look amazing, will surely be back to try some. Also, staff is super friendly and helpful.

Lovely little coffeeshop with many options . The staff is amazing and very helpful . I tasted the chocolate pie and smoothie and they were so good . Loved the fact that it's a bit further from the busier streets but definitely worth the visit as well for the food as for the place and people ❤

  • 4/5 Natalie S. 1 year ago on Google
The coffee was really delicious. The savory waffle was fantastic. The scrambled tofu needed some salt… the crepe was dry, they gave us caramel sauce which was just ok, they use a lot of coconut oil.

  • 5/5 Giray G. 1 year ago on Google
Good variety of breakfast with vegan options. This place is the only restaurant held true to its vegan menu in old town area, so kudos for that also. Staff is very polite and friendly. And the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommend the breakfast and will definitely be back for the cakes.

Amazing cakes, friendly staff. What more can one ask for when one takes a break from walking loads around Krakow old town! We had the apple cake and oreo cheese cake. They were amazing, especially if you like a naughty but kinda healthy indulgence as their cakes are not too sweet (or sugar free)

This cafe has an incredible selection of gluten free food and lactose free food too! I got gluten free dumplings, gluten free beer and a gluten free eclair. All together came to just 60 zloty (€15). They have all day breakfast (savoury and sweet options) and lovely indoor dining set up as well as some seating outside

Excellence ambience, centrally located in the heart of Old Town and huuuge portions, berley could make it 😂 Waffle with poached eggs and salmon were incredibly tasty. Waffles was very soft and tasty even without toppings. Great choose for breakfast
