The
medieval
city
core
o
Krakow
is
the
reason
to
visit
this
city
and
should
not
be
missed
under
any
circumstances.
It
is
one
of
the
first
7
places
to
be
placed
on
the
UNESCO
world
heritage
list
for
a
reason.
It
is
charming,
because
it
preserves
the
medieval/renaissance
character
of
the
original
old
city.
There
are
churches
galore,
several
of
them
major
basilicas
that
contain
frescoes,
chapels,
stained
glass
and
altars
that
can
not
be
seen
anywhere
else
in
the
world.
The
enormous
market
square
is
the
largest
medieval
square
in
Europe,
but
unlike
others
in
Europe
this
square
is
lively
both
day
and
night
and
not
just
with
tourists
but
with
locals
also.
Finally
old
town
Krakow
contains
the
largest
amount
of
bars/pubs
per
square
meter
in
Europe
so
its
a
great
place
to
party
and
the
party
scene
in
Krakow
is
legendary.
There
are
also
many,
many
museums,
shops,
and
restaurants
Making
the
Old
town
a
very
enjoyable
palce
to
visit
where
you'll
never
be
bored.
Obviously,
it
is
free
to
enter.
