A must to see in Krakow, beautiful city centre, amazing collection of historic sights. Weather was not too great for April but wasn’t that bad for spending few hours there. Traditional polish food was delicious. Highly recommended

The medieval city core o Krakow is the reason to visit this city and should not be missed under any circumstances. It is one of the first 7 places to be placed on the UNESCO world heritage list for a reason. It is charming, because it preserves the medieval/renaissance character of the original old city. There are churches galore, several of them major basilicas that contain frescoes, chapels, stained glass and altars that can not be seen anywhere else in the world. The enormous market square is the largest medieval square in Europe, but unlike others in Europe this square is lively both day and night and not just with tourists but with locals also. Finally old town Krakow contains the largest amount of bars/pubs per square meter in Europe so its a great place to party and the party scene in Krakow is legendary. There are also many, many museums, shops, and restaurants Making the Old town a very enjoyable palce to visit where you'll never be bored. Obviously, it is free to enter.

Spent Sunday wandering around the old town Krakow just sampling beers and seeing what there was to offer. Gets very busy with both tourists and locals. Plenty of places to eat and drink, lots of trinkets to buy, just be wary of the money exchange places in the square as what they advertise isn't the rate you think you're going to get. Lots of different methods of sight seeing, from sitting in a golf cart type thing, horse drawn carriage or just walking along with a guide.

(Translated by Google) You seem to be in a fairy tale. Horses harnessed to carriages, animators in costumes, chic architecture, a smiling and hospitable nation ... It's impossible not to fall in love with this place. Insanely nice atmosphere and crazy emotions. A place to visit! Highly recommend!

We visited between Christmas and New Year to celebrate a birthday with a mixed age range small group. We all loved it. The old town is beautiful, the people friendly and the food excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

Review for the Old Town of Kraków: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Old Town of Kraków is nothing short of enchanting. Boasting Europe's largest medieval square, it's a mesmerizing mosaic of history, culture, and vivacity. Every nook and cranny of this timeless treasure tells a tale, and just when you think you've uncovered all its secrets, Kraków playfully reveals more hidden wonders. The pulse of this place is palpable, an electric current of inspiration that courses through its cobblestone streets and historic edifices. Whether you're bathed in the golden glow of daylight or wandering under a starlit canopy, the sheer magnificence of Old Town Kraków never wanes. As an International remote life coach and personal trainer, I've always believed in drawing inspiration from our surroundings. Much like how Kraków's age-old charm rejuvenates the spirit, my journey has been about empowering individuals to find and harness their inner spark, no matter where they are. Let Kraków's timeless allure kindle your imagination, and remember, the pursuit of personal growth knows no boundaries. 🏰✨💪🏼🌍

This square is a unique blend of history and life which does best in conveying how alive this city is to tourists/visitors. Bordered by historic buildings with striking medieval architecture and housing numerous shops, museums, cafes and restaurants, it is guaranteed to leave you in awe. More so in winter time, the whole square is adorned with lights and decor. A huge Christmas market awaits you in the middle with a center stage for performances. Must visit location if you are in Krakow or even in Poland. One of the most beautiful squares and old towns in Europe.

Beautiful city center, crowded but still beautiful. No wonder this is Poland's most visited city by tourists. It's got a bit of everything for everyone.

Magical place. There is much to see but not much to do. Lack of public toilets is a problem. But a very safe and beautiful place overall. Just when you think you saw it all, you see that there's more to explore around every corner.

Pleasant Old Town. A bit over rated though in the many reviews I had come across before coming here. Interesting architecture in certain parts. Having spent 5 days in the area, you could easily get through the attractions in the Old Town in half a day. Some of the food stuff is half the price once you leave the catchment area. If you drive, your best option is to park in Galleria Krakowski (shopping mall) which is relatively cheaper and less confusing for tourists.

The Old Town of Krakow is a magnet for tourists from all over the world. It is one of the 14 historical sites in Poland that have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It includes many historic houses, palaces, churches with splendid 14th-century interiors, ancient temples, Jagiellonian University and the Gothic cathedral where the kings of Poland are buried.

Old Town (Rynek) in Krakow is very beautiful and is one of the second-largest old towns in Europe. There are a lot of cafes/bars/good joints in the old town. If you are visiting for the first time as a tourist then I would recommend, you must book a free walking tour and know about the importance of all the buildings.

Beautiful spot. The horse and carriage rides are extortionate and should be banned - €40 for a 5 minute ride - possible the best paid job in the whole of Poland?! Madness. The architecture and Christmas markets are great. Most spots in the square are open until 11pm - midnight which is excellent - even Starbucks! Not easy to get an Uber from here, you must walk out of this area to catch a ride.
