How delicious was the food in this restaurant? I only had a few bites of my order and I already wanted to write a review on Google Maps. Really yummy! It's easy to be fooled by the restaurant's ordinary red decoration in Vietnamese style, but the options of the menu and the quality of food were fabulous, even premium. That kind of contrast was so interesting. The Bun Bo I ordered was full of fresh herbs, crunchy vegetables and delicious stir-fried beef, served with rice noodles in quite huge portion- great value considering the price! The fish soup only available on Friday was also worth a try, however, the flavor could be stronger. Nice service, too. It's a pity I don’t live nearby, otherwise I must be frequenting to dine there. But will definitely go again! EDIT: Another time I tried the Thursday's special - ramen with duck, which is still delicious and in huge portion. Desserts look beautiful too!

Once this was a very tasty and affordable Chinese restaurant, actually bringing together price, taste and portions size. For me personally it was the best in town. But unfortunately not anymore. It was famous for an amazingly tasty General Tso chicken. Lately, I ordered it twice just to be sure: The sauce isn’t sticky anymore, but quite watery and the famous taste is gone, they clearly exchanged the oyster sauce used for that dish and put way more soya sauce. Portions are also clearly smaller, especially rice and salad are roughly a third what they used to be. I ordered Tom Kha, and honestly speaking could barely taste some coconut. Prices have risen a lot, but the quality diminished. Overall, it’s not bad, but we won’t visit again, as this is clearly like any other Chinese fast food restaurant, maybe currently even more on the pricier side with regards to quality. An absolute gem of a place! It's off the beaten path. And maybe not your fancy kind of a dining. But it's absolutely authentic! The portion sizes are a marvel! And the taste, freshness and serving is just perfect! We were walking by and just stumped upon this place. Trust fellow travelers and krakowiaks alike. Get out of your fancy pants and you will be delighted by the place!

Friendly staff, nice varied concise menu from Asia. Bit out of the way but found it easy. Clean and tidy restaurant. Tasty dinner of Chicken Chow Mein. Pleasant visit!

I was walking by and smelled really good so I came in for food. Service was great, staff spoke very good English, i did not wait long for the food, food was good. Location is a bit hidden but not too bad.

The staff are nice, but the food is not great. We bought three things, and they use the same chicken for each. They mass-cook plain chicken without seasoning or flavour, then just add it to random sauces or noodles etc. Furthermore, the individual dishes were bland. It is the worst Pad Thai we've had in Krakow (out of about 7) and the other two chicken dishes hardly tasted of anything. We will never go back, simply because the food is not worth any amount of money at all.

I tried pork rib in sweet sauce and tom kha soup. They are not true thai.taste and not thai spices and not true ingredients. However, the taste is good and acceptable and I did enjoyed the lunch.

Love going there for lunch! Another hidden (literally) gem. Get a Bun Cha there - it’s the closer to real Vietnamese as it gets in Krakow. You can order from them via pyszne.pl too :) PS can get bit crowded around lunchtime

Terrible place, waiting chicken and soup for 1 hour without notification that there are a lot of orders. We are with small kid and no one told us we have to wait more then 1 hour. A lot of builders going throw the tables , smoking everywhere around

chicken basil was nice, and they made it very spicy on request. - The soup with shrimps was unfortunately not good. - Nothing inside apart from shrimps and mushrooms that taste like water.

Very affordable Asian (Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai food. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, because it is hidden beyond trees and a parking area. And it is more than a kilometer away fom any touristic area. Very friendly service and the food was excellent. So, visiting Phong Hai is definitely worth a small detour.

Ok food, ok service

Worst Chinese food I have ever had, half of the shrimp as appetizers had no shrimp in them just batter, the other half were the size of cocktail shrimp. The General Tso tofu was horrible, the tofu soggy, the broccoli was steamed and thrown on top, the sauce had no flavor just starchy water,no peppers, no chives, no sesame seeds... Complete waste of money, the cook must have had a bad day or doesn't know the first thing about Chinese food preparation. The only good thing was very fast delivery and and the the delivery guy was polite.

Went last night but honestly was a little hidden gem. We wouldn't have noticed it walking past but brilliant service. There may only be 7 tables but the food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and always happy to help with recommendations.

I had tried first time. I ordered samosa and Vietnamese chicken . They did not have samosa available which is perfectly ok. They replaced it with another appetizer Nen Sajgonki which was really good. Main dish chicken Vietnamese was totally bland. No flavour. It was like simple boiled chicken pieces in red food color. I would suggest them to add some flavour there. I will for sure try more dishes from them. Cannot judge based on 1 dish

A bit off the beaten track and tricky to find but worth the walk. Really fairly priced food which was delicious and fair portions. Really good service from super friendly and polite staff. Food arrived quickly and well presented. Really recommend the General Tso and Chicken Panang Curry. Great find.

One of the best Asian food places in the city. I'm a returning customer for years now. The food is great, the service sometimes so-so (but the waiters change). The place is well hidden and doesn't look inviting, but it's definitely worth a visit.

I am a die hard fan of Vietnamese noodle soup called pho I tried few times in this restaurant but quality is not consistent first time it was excellent second time ok and third time bad and fourth time worst They can make top food but quality control must be their consistent priority

Well we recently visited this place for dinner it's a quiet small place for dining. The food was good I felt rice portions very less compared to other chain restaurants.

The best place for some hot plate Vietnamese chicken. It’s not the traditional British takeaway style, but very tasty nonetheless. Definitely recommend, I visit every time I’m back!

The food is actually bussing. The prices are really good compared to other restaurants in Krakòw, the location is good, the restaurant itself could do better but it's clean. The food is really well prepared full of taste, the service was on point aswell.

Quality Asian food and the portions are huge. I can definitely recommend it. Not sure if it's the same if you order but the bung-chai was absolutely fantastic!
