On our way from our hotel to the center of Krakow we saw this small but nice restaurant. Delicious authentic Polish food for a good price. The croquettes with beetroot soup is a must!

Great place for a good lunch. The food was delicious, the lady that served us was kind and helpful. For about 30 PLN per person you will leave full and content. 🙂

I decided to visit Domowe Przysmaki during my trip to Kraków partly because of the good reviews, but also the owner's responsiveness to ratings on Google (it is good to see a business that engages with customers and wants to improve where possible). I was very happy with everything during my visit. The food was tasty, and the service was wonderful. The waitress spoke English well, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. As you can see from the pictures I have posted of the menu - there is also an English translation, which is most helpful for those visiting the city. I was initially slightly disappointed that there was no dessert of the day, despite visiting in the early afternoon - however, this turned out to be a stroke of luck, as I really enjoyed the brownie with ice cream and whipped cream! The brownie is bigger than it looks in my picture here, and tasted delicious. The warmth of the brownie, with the coldness and texture of the ice cream (I think it might have had coconut pieces in it?), coupled with the whipped cream and sauce, worked perfectly. Really happy with my visit to Domowe Przysmaki, and I hope to pay you a visit on my return to Kraków. Many thanks to all! P.s. The other dish you see pictured is the traditional pork chop with potatoes and fried cabbage (45 PLN at time of writing). The coffee is a cappuccino. Also delicious!

The potato pancakes were my absolute favorite dish but all the food was incredible. The service was quick and the waitresses were lovely. Definitely recommend if you want to try traditional Polish food!

I could not be more satisfied, knowing that this was exactly the kind of place i was looking for: no nonsense, fair price, l9cal dishes. The beetroot soup was pure and clear, very tasty and accompanied by a giant croquette. That starter could have been my main dish! Tben I got the main: pork with rice and a sniff of orange. Very good, according to the price. Just a little dry, but still good. That orange was refreshing and a welcome taste on the dish. I would advise the restaurant to serve the main only after the starter is finished, that would have made me a little more comfortable. Still: good food and fair price.

Cute little shop serving tradition Polish food. This restaurant is in a great location for tourist but the real reason I walked in is because I saw a group of Babcias having lunch! And you know they only eat the best authentic Polish foods so I had to try! I was in a bit of a time constraint so I could not order from the items I wanted as it was a 30 minute wait time. But I did have a kiełbasa covered in delicious caramelizad onions. That might sound a bit odd but just trust me it’s incredible. I had a bit of a sweet tooth so I also ordered the pancakes with Nutella. These pancakes are what us Americans call “crepes” so just FYI. Both dishes tasted amazing and the service was great. I did think the food was a bit overpriced but I think it’s due to the area in general. Will def be returning for a soup!

After a Chopin concert at Chopin Hall nearby, I had a dinner at Domowe Przysmaki. The grilled salmon was nicely cooked with crunchy outside and juicy inside. You will have a good experience of Polish foods. Total cost was about 20 EUR per person. No parking space, so that better to visit there on 🦶.

Adorable little traditional restaurant in Krakow's Old Town. We had mushroom soup and potato and curd cheese pierogi. The soup was fine but the latter were exquisite! Very reasonable prices, and a nice, cosy atmosphere. A must-visit after a cold evening out and about.

Lovely little cafe down one of the side streets. I had a Polish breakfast and a coffee and it set me up for the day. Seats indoors and outdoors, a great way to spend breakfast for me I showed others in my group who went to nest day back on the quality. Staff were friendly and were quick in everything they did.

This place has amazing traditional polish food that is so comforting! It was so good I came here to eat 2 days in a row! I had the placki, zurek, and traditional kolet throughout my two visits. I come from a Polish family and really felt at home eating this food!

Wandering the streets of Krakow looking for a place to sit outside and eat after delivering some aid for the Ukraine military, and happened upon this little gem. Food, Beverages, and service all quite remarkable and for a most reasonable price. Stop in the next time you're in Krakow.

I was searching for Polish restaurant but pop in this place. Staffs were so sweet and kind. Polish dumplings were most delicious I’ve ever eaten. When I visited, I was so touched they treated guests sincerely. Nice experience for me. These are genuine good Poles. For adding other choice, I recommend hunter’s stew!

We are so glad we went here, the most amazing Polish food! If you want to try the pierogi in Krakow go here! And I cannot recommend the potato pancakes enough! I had them with mountain cheese and cranberry, this is the best thing I've eaten in Poland. We can't wait to come back on our next visit. Staff were incredibly helpful too :)

Good find! Been twice, the first time was a Saturday night so was really busy and the second was Wednesday evening so really peaceful, and a pleasant dining experience. Would recommend for either day though 👌

Nice place to go if you want something perhaps more traditional also at a reasonable price. Here we tried pierogi which was nice and the restaurant also had a nice atmosphere.

If you are looking for delicious food, cooked to perfection and served by wonderful people in a beautiful, cosy little restaurant then this is the place to go. Menu is in Polish and English, and the staff speak great English too. This was my 2nd visit in 4 days and I'm sure i will be back again soon. Would have given 10 stars if it was possible, definitely recomend this place if you are in Krakow.

Awesome place to enjoy georgian food in the garden under wine risps. Their dumplings are delicious and you should ask for a glas of their orange wine.

Tight but cosy space inside, more seats outside if good weather allows. Good prices, lovely taste. Friendly service. Traditional soup's and mains. If you don't know which pierogi to choose recommending the "koryto pierogow" to share. Couple of each to try (doesn't include the sweet/fruity ones). Definitely worth trying. You won't regret it.

Tasty food for a fair price. I had tomato soup as a starter, and pork chop for main dish. Could recommend both! The lemonade was SO GOOD though! That is a must have!

One of my favourite places in Krakkow, I always visit it when I'm in the city - through the years the quality remained the same. The environment nice, the food is good and compared to other places in the are really affordable.

It is really a polish style food, tested good. It wasn't warm enough - they need to warm it longer, especially during the winter season (soup and potatoes). The chicken tested great, the dumplings too

Honestly it tasted good but I ordered meet pirogi and my mom mushroom pirogi and there were a few mushroom ones in my meet plate and vice versa. I guess it was pretty busy and they just made a mistake. It happens.

This place is amazing! My girlfriend and I go all the time. Everyone is Friendly, the food is amazing, prices are great and one big plus for us is they have French press coffee. Don't get me wrong espresso based drinks are great but sometimes you just want a cup of coffee and each French press gives you two.

The atmosphere sitting outside was nice. Although the menu said you will have to wait up to 30 minutes for main dishes, we received our starter and our main dish real quick. The service was ok.

Was one of our favorite meals on our trip. Everyone had a great meal, my daughter (pictured) claims she had the best meal of all. Can't blame her, it was delicious.

Perfect meal on my last day in Poland, couldn't go wrong with homemade pierogi! The place is only a short walk from the train station (10-15 min). The service was super fast. I ordered kompot (polish fruit juice) and cabbage & mushroom pierogi with a mix of different polish salads (surówki). Cheap and delicious food with a great service. Thank you!

Ordered the sour soup with bread (nice and light with a little sausage and meat), potato pancakes with cheese and jam (I liked it!! But May not be enough if I’m hungry), tried the meat dumplings and it was pretty nice (skin was thin enough).

We arrived in Kraków reasonably late and went looking for a place to have dinner after 9pm. The staff here were great, as were the potato and bacon periogis and the huge crumbed pork chop! Draft lager matched the meal well, and it was just what we needed after a day of travel! Very reasonably priced, too, as the total came to 99 zł! We also stopped in for breakfast and had excellent yoghurt and muesli, along with a lemonade, which was on the sweeter side, but very tasty!

I think this place needs more recognition It’s a homemade polish cuisine! Very tasty food that will take you back to your childhood days (if you’re from a slav county, like me). I absolutely love the mushroom soup here and the drinks are awesome! The staff is very nice and efficient, they speak great English and always ready to help. We came here 40 minutes before closing time and they served us very fast. We saw people coming every now and then. Someone came there 15 minuets before closing time and the girl said that they have time to serve them. They are truly trying their best to satisfy their guests! If you are in Krakow and you want to try traditional polish cuisine for cheap, you should come here! The prices here are super affordable, for the city center
