This pedestrian / bike bridge was installed in 2010 and provides a convenient path from Kazimierz to Podgórze. It is adorned with sculptures of acrobats by artist Jerzy Kędziora. The only problem is that all sculptures are facing the bike side of the bridge!!! It creates a dangerous inconvenience for both bikers and pedestrians. Obviously, tourists would like to take pictures of the statues and bikers just want to get across the bridge, so switching sides will solve the issue.

A modern footbridge that connects the "Kazimierz" district to the "Podgorze" district. The location is convenient as otherwise one would have to walk for an extra kilometer to negotiate the watery obstacle of the Vistula river. The bridge is nicely lit up at night and features some neat sculptures placed among its support cables. For those who dislike spiders, BEWARE. There is a colony of enormous spiders all along the bridge, the closer to the lights the more and bigger they are. The increasing number of "love padlocks" is beginning to get annoying. one side of the bridge has been designated for bicycle traffic so be careful which side you walk on

One of the most amazing bridges of Krakow. Beautiful place for walking over Vistula river. Perfect coast view of the 2 sides of the sity. Too many people "lock their love" with lockers that theu put on the decks of the bridge. Over your head there are puppets dancing on the strings of the bridge. Awesome place for a peaceful or romantic walk. Peace from Greece

An art bridge that connects two decent quarters of Krakow, which I would definitely walk through on a beautiful day.

A nice place to visit with a zapiekanki (bought on the marketplace 5 minutes away). I don't think the bridge itself is beautiful, but the feeling when you walk on it and see the river under you is pretty good.

A very nice dedicated pedestrian path on one side and a dedicated path on the other side. There are plenty of sculptures incorporated within the cables in the center of the bridge from one end to the other end.

Great bridge to walk across. There were acrobat sculptures across the bridge that were fun to look at. We also enjoyed looking at all the locks on the bridge, of lovers who put their names on the locks, locked the lock, and threw away the key. There bridge connected Podgorze to Kazimierz which were two neighborhoods we checked out.

It's a bridge, it crossed the river, job done 😂 although if you go over at night the view is great

Father Bernatek's Bridge is a true architectural gem in Krakow. Not only is it a functional footbridge, but also a showcase of artistic sculptures, making a walk across a unique experience. The surrounding area offers picturesque views, especially at sunset. A must-visit while in the city!

At first I thought the loons from #Juststopoil had descended on Krakow, but then as we got so much closer it was clear it was some amazing sculptures! Beautiful work and a great addition to the bridge! If your on your way to Schindler’s factory make time to walk and visit the bridge

Very cute bridge that offers a great Vistula river view, no to mention the surrounding architecture. Along the way you can also enjoy some pieces of art. So get your camera ready. This is a pedestrian and bicycles only bridge, has two lanes very well separated: one for pedestrians, and the other for bicycles. On both sides of the bridge there are plenty of restaurants with taste and flavors for everyone. Enjoy.

Lovely walk across the Lovers Bridge with it unusual sculptures. Cheese and meat boards to share, with a glass of wine. Staff very helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean.

Loved this bridge. Make sure to take an engraved padlock to attach to mark your visit. There are many already there. A great way to cross from Pest to Buda with some lovely bars where you can sit outside and people watch if that's your thing.

When in Krakow, you must walk this bridge. I highly recommend you do so after the sun sets. The lights are so beautiful and it makes the artwork (dangling statues) that much more interesting to look at.

Worth the walk & effort even though it was a cold & windy day! View of the Office Building built over the house was great!

Not your normal footbridge as it is combined with an art installation. Well worth a visit if you are nearby, I chose to walk from the town over this bridge to visit the Schindler factory

Beautiful pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the river. Romantic location with a lot of love locks . I loved the sculptures hanging on the bridge . Looks like gymnastics in different positions. Beautiful for photography and at the evening looks more romantic. And it’s your gate to the historic quarter. The area around it is very beautiful part of the city of Kraków

Spectacular bridge to walk or cycle across no matter what the weather and what time of year. 1 side for cycles, the other for pedestrians. Well known for people putting signed padlocks on there to indicate unbreakable love. Always makes me chuckle the number of empty spaces where someone changed their mind and took bolt cutters to them In between the two bridges are statues of performers, that are suspended by wires so they move in thr weather and when people walk across

Despite this is a modern bridge, it is only for bikes and pedestrians, moreover the view on the river below is amazing, and walking on it a must-have experience.

Lovely pedestrian bridge with balancing figures. See if you can figure out how they are suspended and stay upright (clue: it's all about the counterweight). A nice way to cross the bridge to visit the boat restaurants nearby and just enjoy the views. There is a great sunset from this bridge.

Beautiful bridge to admire the river and people watch. Many couples will put a lock on the bridge too

I liked it a lot, the statues across the bridge are all beautiful, as for the padlocks, although they are not really unique they still represent the wishes of thousands of couples for a happily ever after. For sure worth a visit.

It's a bridge. You go across. Far as that riveting premise can go - it's as good as it gets. Lanes for bikes and pedestrians, lit up at night, chain for cheesy romantic locks and cool gymnastics statues suspended in the air.

This is interesting bridge for its bold and modern architecture. On the bridge you find sculptures suspend from the bridge and they impressive. In the evening the bridge comes alive with illuminated display. If you are krakow, l would recomend visting here.
