Nice restaurant with fresh fish. Prices are quite high, eg. a pasta with sea food most 80 zł, desserts about 30 zł. Also, as a standard in some restaurants, tap water price was high. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. Service not bad bit a bit chaotic.

Very crowded and understood why..! (Reservation needed). I loved all seafood menus..! Mule was not that fresh and combination of seafood are almost similar.. But i strongly recommend here to visit when you want seafood :D Staffs are very kind and professional!!

An Italian restaurant famous for seafood. As we were here on the weekend, the waitress kindly reminded us that the remaining seafood was limited. I still had a really delicious seafood spaghetti though. Very good combination of tastes and textures. Pizza and lasagna were also top notch. Btw there’s also an extensive wine selection.

As a self-proclaimed seafood enthusiast and a frequent flyer at this restaurant, I must confess, I'm hooked! The fish soup is a comforting embrace that warms my soul, while the mussels with asparagus are like a tango on my taste buds, with each bite leading to a flavorful dip. The focaccia, a crispy companion, is so addictive that I suspect it has secret mind-controlling herbs. And let's not forget the tagliatelle with seafood, a dish that makes me question if I should just move in permanently. With friendly and professional service that feels like a fin-tastic friendship, this seafood restaurant has successfully reeled me in.

I was there only once but definitely will be back. Really good italian cuisine and fresh seafood. We had foccacia and pasta with frutti di mare to share. I enjoyed all of it. Also the interiors were making me feel like in Italy. The waitress was really nice and helpful. Thank you for this experience. We'll be back!

The place is mind-blowing. Probably best seafood in Kraków. It truly feels special - every Italian would be proud to serve such an amazing dishes. The place has also wide variety of wines - some hard to find elsewhere. It feels so authentic, so special, so real.

This is not the first time we have come in this area, there are few good establishments, the seafood is excellent, the pasta is good, we really liked it all three times. The only thing is that when you arrive together, they sit at a small table, I don’t like it and it’s not comfortable.

Simply blown away! Amazing! I was eager to dine here since I love seafood and they advertised everything was fresh. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Pescatora. The mussels, shrimps and octopus were so fresh. I was positively surprised. The quantity was more than adequate as well. My partner ordered the spaghetti arrabiata. It was perfect. Service was brisk. We booked a table prior and it took us almost no time to get seated although we arrived a bit early. Our waitress, Natalia, was very friendly and very hospitable. The atmosphere is great with minimal decor, an open kitchen and simplistic design. The place is located a bit away from the center so it avoids the hustle and bustle of the city center. This place is a gem and a must visit if you are a fan of Mediterranean seafood or Italian food in general. Highly recommend if you are in Krakow! Will visit again.

We go regularly to "by the way", it's walking distance from home. I really love the service The staff quickly get to know your habits, relax but still a bit formal (perfect balance). Food is great (otherwise we wouldn't return!). They used to receive fresh fish/seafood on Thursdays (until quantity last), but I believe they now receive twice a week, so they almost have everything every day. Note that they are closed on *Monday* (edited: i typed Sunday by mistake!). Only negative side if I have to be picky, it tend to become noisy inside when busy. YMMV. Highly recommend ;-)

Very nice place in a quiet location off the old town but easy to reach either by tram or by car (easy to park, payable). Very good food and friendly, well trained staff.

Even my Vietnamese girlfriend, who usually doesn't eat neither Italian cuisine nor sweet stuff she liked the place so much to give 5* review :) Very good fish soup and tiramisu.

Sorry, I put 3 by mistake, I meant 4 - for nice service. Fish soup was good but too much raw carrots spoil the taste and impression. Pasta carbonara was too fatty, overfried bacon - couldn't finish

Absolutely fabulous food !!! Super fresh sea food cooked to perfection and one of the best restaurant made carbonara I ever had. Next time will try the sea food pasta. Well done team !

Very nice place. Sauvignon and ravioli are too good, it’s the first place where mussels are really tasty (without sand actually). High price but it’s worth it

This is great place for Italian food …food was delicious and tasty. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The place is very cozy. People who loves Italian food must try this place.

Do not even read the menu; just ask about the fresh sea fish they have. They are delicious although you can be further from any European sea only in the Slovak or Czech Republic. They have their ways to bring them fresh. We had an interesting experience (and discussion) about one Pagrus pagrus (Linnaeus 1758) vs. what in my country is just known as a 'seabream'. Well, as for the menu, it is also excellent :) Try the fish soup. Or their fishy Tatar. Not cheap. But worth it.

A great place, with delicious food and a nice, intimate atmosphere. The restaurant serves fresh seafood dishes. Nice, competent and helpful staff also deserve praise. Prices are at a reasonable level, especially for such delicious food. A paradise for fans of fish and seafood. We will definitely visit this place during the turn of the visit to Krakow.

You can tell a good restaurant by whether it makes you pay 28PLN for a litre of water. All the charm is gone after great food, good wine, when you are charged that amount by a restaurant for tap water. After many years of recommending By the way to all visitors to Krakow as the best Italian restaurant in town, unfortunately I won't be doing so again. Pity.

Lasagna didn’t look and taste fresh. Pizza was just mediocre, wouldn’t recommend. Fish was fresh, but, to my humble opinion, too expensive - if I knew it would be 75 pln, I wouldn’t order. Service was good, though.

We went after checking the high score in google, the place is very cute and the service seems very professional, however we were disappointed with the food. We were expecting a decent seafood but the quality was way worst our expectations. We understand that in Poland is more difficult to get a fresh and good sea product, but then also prices should be set according to the product offered.

Nice restaurant/friendly staff, but I had a disappointing veal dish, which was too fatty. It wasn't worth the price!

Fresh and tasty dishes with fish

Amazing food - everything is so delicious. Tiramisu is one of the best I've ever tasted. The service is also exceptional. Adding this place to personal "must visit". Highly recommended.

Fish soup tastes very good and not spicy at all for an Asian taste. But the soup tastes fresh and hot enough to consume. I really liked it. Tiramisu dessert is amazing also. Beautiful restaurant, clean and comfortable toilet (also for the disabled), friendly staff and nice music. Keep up the good work BY THE WAY.
