The
altar
is
under
renovation,
but
covered
with
a
curtain
with
a
photo
of
the
original
altar.
The
church
was
built
in
the
years
1695-1717,
so
200
years
before
the
October
Revolution
in
Tsarist
Russia.
In
1774
it
became
the
church
of
the
Chełm
diocese
until
the
seat
of
the
bishops
was
moved
to
Lublin
in
1805.
Lots
of
gilding,
decorations,
rich
paintings
on
the
ceiling.
