The Restaurant ‘Wundertüte’ is a place where friendly service is commonly known. The big bright room spelt a welcoming atmosphere. The crew was very friendly. Kids are welcome too. Children receive ice cream as a dessert. It was not expensive. The voucher ‘From Guest to Guest’ is a very humane gesture. Thank you for this possibility. My cappuccino was very delicious.

The two of us were there on a Thursday afternoon. We really liked the restaurant. The service was very good, as was the food. Not a Viennese style schnitzel, we like that. We will definitely come back and recommend the miracle bag to others. In the meantime I've been to dinner another 6 times with different companions and what can I say...everything is still tip top 😊👍 The food is still very good and the staff is attentive, friendly and competent. I will definitely come back 🤗

Really great restaurant! The idea behind it is right, food is delicious, great beer selection (on tap!), nice wine list. Insider tip: for dessert, be sure to look at the board next to the counter, the types of sorbet are varied and sometimes really exotic. Prices are completely okay. A big compliment to the staff: never, really never, have I seen such nice and courteous service. Thank you very much for that!

Ganz toll! Super lecker (vor allem die hervorragende hausgemachte Qualität, das Dessert ist der Hammer!), tolles und zuvorkommendes Team, super Preise! - Und auch klasse, dass es in der direkten Nachbarschaft ist. ;-) Sehr empfehlenswert, einfach mal hingehen. Nachtrag nach einem Besuch zum Mittagessen: Wieder großartig, hab mal 2 Fotos ergänzt. :-)

Stopped there by chance and I have to say I did everything right! We received a very warm welcome, there was a recommendation from the kitchen in advance and the main course was perfect! Great atmosphere, nice team and will definitely come back.

We only came across this restaurant by chance. A very cozy restaurant. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was lovingly prepared: very tasty and a real eye-catcher. Price wise also in a good range. We'll definitely come back again. Our visit from Australia was also very enthusiastic.

Einfach fantastisch! Abgesehen vom passenden Konzept und den überragend leckeren Speisen fühlt man sich durch den tollen Service sowie das Ambiente einfach wohl und gut aufgehoben. Ich war mit ein paar Freunden dort und alle haben die Wundertüte mit einem Lächeln verlassen.

The Wundertüte in Essen is a restaurant with a nice ambience, friendly staff and very tasty food. The price-performance ratio is absolutely positive: great food at good prices. Everything was also very clean. There is also something for vegetarians, so everyone is welcome here and it is a good address for a variety of occasions, as well as for a quick meal in between. Highly Recommended!

The food is amazing as is the service. The parsnip-apple soup was fantastic. The lemon cake is so yummy- I could eat three pieces of it each time! This is our new favorite restaurant. ♥️♥️♥️

Ein wunderbares Restaurant für unseren Heimaturlaub aus Australien. Die freundliche Atmosphäre und Bedienung plus traditionelle Gerichte mit ‚Pfiff‘ und in hoher Qualität waren die Anreise aus Kettwig wert. Für unseren nächsten Besuch planen wir bereits dort ein Fest in den großzügigen Räumen zu veranstalten.

Today I was in the lucky bag for the second time in two weeks and everyone was thrilled again. The food tastes wonderful: everything is fresh, well-balanced creations, very interesting in taste and very well prepared. The service is extremely friendly, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the atmosphere is lovely. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the next surprise bag dish!
