Giving three Stars because. 1. For reaching to this Hotel and Restaurant who have to go through a Toll road by paying a fees of 140Rs for just 600m. 2. When you are entering this hotel, you will have to pay Rs50 Per Person Compulsory as Garden Fees. Which I feel is not fair. If someone is visiting the hotel they should have atleast this concession.. 3. Since this place is a Govt hotel, do not expect good hospitality. 4. Its a positive thing actually. I tried their food and it was good and fair in terms of price.

One of the good place in KRS to have food and its not heavy on ur pockets compared to Royal Orchids next door. Good and friendly staff. Has decent food options both veg n non-veg. Cars don't reach top unless one has reservations to stay overnight.

I was disappointed with the hotel mayura cauvery choosen by me, initially, it was informed to me that non veg in the hotel is not allowed but in the hotel, non veg was also served. food was average and selective. Further, when u plan to visit hotel u have to pay garden entrance fees Rs.50 per person per visit plus toll charges Rs.100 for vehicle entry, this is recurring one when u exit u have to pay, this is hidden overbudget expenses. It approx. Becomes 1/4 of u r hotel budget cost. The brindavan garden is not maintained properly and it's moving water is very dirty. Security staff of the hotel is not at all cooperative, Overall the hotel place is overbudget and not advisable for stay for tourist.

Stayed at this property for 1 night in an AC deluxe room. The property is neatly maintained, room was huge, bathroom was spotless. The restaurant food was simple, non greasy (except starters of course). Best part is that this is situated within the Brindavan Gardens compound and you could almost have the area to yourself in the early mornings, before public starts pouring in. Its convenient if you have your own vehicle.

Nice place to stay with family to spend some time at the Brindavan Gardens , especially in the early mornings before the general public are permitted to the gardens. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Room facilities are a bit outdated but clean. There's no lift facility, so if you are going with elders, better insist on ground floor rooms. Food taste and quality is average to below average, though service staff are extremely courteous. Overall, can be a one time visit to experience the gardens liesurely with family.

Serene Stay at Mayura Cauvery, Mysore Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mayura Cauvery in Mysore, and overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. Here is my review of this hotel: Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mayura Cauvery is located in a serene and picturesque setting near the beautiful Brindavan Gardens and the banks of the Cauvery River. The proximity to these natural attractions allows guests to enjoy the tranquility and scenic beauty of the area. However, it is worth noting that the hotel is a bit secluded and requires private transportation to explore other parts of Mysore. Accommodation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms at Mayura Cauvery were comfortable and clean. The beds provided a good night's sleep, and the amenities offered were adequate for a comfortable stay. The rooms were well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a commendable job of keeping the accommodations tidy. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel staff at Mayura Cauvery were friendly and helpful. They were responsive to our needs and requests, ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff members were knowledgeable about the local area, providing suggestions for nearby attractions and activities. Dining: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Mayura Cauvery offers an on-site restaurant that serves a decent selection of dishes. The food quality was satisfactory, although the menu options could have been more diverse. The restaurant staff were attentive and provided good service during our dining experience. Amenities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel offers basic amenities to cater to the needs of guests. There is a parking facility available for those traveling by car. Overall Experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at Mayura Cauvery was enjoyable, thanks to the serene location and friendly staff. The comfortable accommodations and the proximity to Brindavan Gardens added to the appeal of the hotel. While there were some areas for improvement, the overall experience was positive. In conclusion, Mayura Cauvery in Mysore offers a peaceful retreat near Brindavan Gardens. While there is room for improvement, the hotel provides a comfortable stay and friendly service. I would recommend it to travelers seeking a tranquil getaway in Mysore

KSTDC Hotel Mayura Kauvery KRS is good property just upright Brindavan Gardens. Nice ambience, co-operative nature of the staffs really appreciable. But In restaurant food options are very limited and takes too much time for serving.Wifi is not consistent and strong in the premises.

Before the stay: Booked 2 non A/C rooms. Got confirmation mail from the hotel itself and also provision for checking into their guest portal to skip the checkin queues (Might be handy during festive/holiday season, we didn’t do that though). Also general manager responded quickly over call (got the number via the mail from hotel) and clarified our queries. Car Transportation to the hotel (other than personal): From Mysore, you can hire an Ola/Uber (outstation) or a prepaid taxi to the hotel. However going out of Brindavan garden is not possible via Ola/Uber as they don’t serve there. During the stay: Check-in process was very quick. In 5 mins, we got our keys. As requested, we got adjacent rooms (subject to availability though). Service person helped us move the luggages into the room. You can find Brindavan garden right in front of the hotel. Room: 4.5/5 The room was neat and tidy. Everything was there as mentioned in MMT except mineral water. They provide a Mysore sandal sample soap, a shampoo, hand wash and a towel in the bathroom. The reason not for a 5/5 is because of the absence of a dental kit & the hot water availability is not 24/7, it’s only for a designated time in the morning. Food: Taste: 4/5 (Curd rice was the best I have ever had in a hotel. However, the same when ordered for dinner was chilled, other dishes tasted good, no milk at night. If you have kids, better take it in the garden and then come back to the hotel) Options: 3/5 (No meals option for lunch. Limited options for veg, no South Indian tiffin options for dinner) Service: 4.5/5 (They take a bit of time for preparation though, the service person even helped with a flask of hot water for the kid. Remember there is no kettle provided) Check-out process was again quick without any hassle. We had a pleasant stay and we would definitely come back again. Overall: 4/5

The location of the hotel is simply awesome. The rooms are so spacious. Each one has a large balcony which opens to the brindaban garden. The hospitality is also very good. They have a very good restaurant at the ground floor which serves a very tasty food. The online booking facilty by KSTDC makes it easier to reserve the rooms. Worth mentioning that it is better you visit this place on your own vehicle. As it is outside the main mysore city. The hotel staffs are having contacts of the cabs though..

It was a good experience. Rooms are good and clean. The only problem was the mattress. It was not up to the mark. Staying at this hotel gave us free entry to the garden and the parking fee(Rs 100 /-)was only collected once even though we crossed the checkpoint several times. just show the room key at the checkpoint and they won't charge you. The restaurant was good and affordable. They offered very good service. Good. 🙂

One of our friends suggested this place. The best part of the stay was that the time spent in the garden. Room was neat and clean. Food service was very good, tasty as well. As it's a TDC property we kept our expectations low but the experience was quite good for the amount spent. A nice place for repeated visits 👍

It's a good budget hotel runs by KSTDC situated inside the legendary Brindagan garden of mysore. If you want to stay inside Brindaban garden and wants 24 hour access to the brindaban garden than you must consider this place for stay, however if you want to explore mysore also along with it than you should refrain staying in this hotel because you have to pay the toll charges everytime when you go out and you won't find any taxi or buses outside. Food options are limited but good. Rooms are big and comfortable.

Rooms are spacious and clean. It is located right beside the brindavan gardens. Both veg and non-veg dishes are available. Beer is also served here.

This place is good for taking some time off from the routine lifestyle and spend some peaceful time. This is located in the outskirts of mysuru and if you need to explore mysuru that should be planned as a separate trip. The garden here, musical fountain and the location is good for night stay.

There is a toll to be crossed to reach the hotel and the toll charges are to be paid everytime. Everytime. If you're planning on going in and out several times, prepare to pay 100 rupees each time. Most terrible drawback. At the time of our visit, the hotel did not have it's own designated parking area. But there is provision for parking on the road and that's trouble free. For when it comes to the hotel - Staff are cordial and warm, rooms are decent for the price and the food is good too. Remember, staying in this hotel would mean staying FOR the location and access to KRS over everything else. Decent food, rooms and room service is an add on. 4/5 recommend.

Nice hotel with a magnificent view and stay at the famous Brindaban garden and KRS dam. The charges are quite less compared the the nearby hotel (Royal Orchid). They have two types of rooms - AC and non-AC. The AC room is very spacious and have a balcony Food is quite good and hygienic and also pocket friendly.

Location is the only great thing about this place which is inside brindavan garden. Though we weren't allowed outside hotel due to a leopard moving around. Rooms look clean and are simple. Breakfast is good, however dinner is average.

Don't trust the picture shown on the booking app/website as it is. It may be misleading. It's located at very strategic place, that is beside the #Brindavangarden. So you just need to step down and you are in the garden. If you are visiting the place with your growing kid, ensure that you do not plan this place for a short one, as it offers good place for kids to have fun and play around. I know, I am mixing it but if the garden is not there you may not want to come here only for the hotel. Coming back to hotel, it's just a bit better than OYO rooms as it offers a nice restaurant. Staff is nice and co-operative. Bed was not that comfortable, it was very fluffy.

What a hidden gem. Budget stay, homely food in a luxurious location. This is a govt run property offering stays inside the brindavan garden at a very affordable price. Rooms overlook the beautiful gardens, you have access to the gardens all through the day/night. Rooms are basic but clean, hot running water works, TV may not work (we didn't check). The food was simple but tasty and the restaurant staff were very polite. Don't miss trying the chicken 65. Restaurant serves liquor as well. Overall a surprisingly wonderful stay, totally worth the price. P.S: Although staying here means you don't need to buy a ticket for entering brindavan gardens, but you have to pay a toll of 100₹ every time you cross the KRS dam bridge on your way here. Evenings get a crazy amount of crowd into the garden, so try to enjoy it in the morning if you are staying here.

Reasonable priced government hotel, worth overnight stay in Brindavan Gardens. Coffee was also good. Value for money, I would say.
