An English Speaking Mexican place in Nurnberg. The place is quite nice where all the seats are actually skateboards and also, you have board games and stuff on almost every table. They have their very own beer which is also lecker. There's a very fancy way of ordering food(for which you have to go there and check). Apart from that Tacos are quite cheap on Tuesday (can get one for €1.5)

Really enjoyed this place. Yes it’s very simple in that you order at the counter, collect your own food and drinks and clear your plates away at the end. It’s just a different setup that they have which is great as it’s not the same old Bavarian restaurant. It’s a small restaurant but we got there early to avoid having to wait. The decor is cool, random stuff and I like the snowboard benches. The menu isn’t huge but what more do you need than burritos, quesadillas, tacos and nachos! You choose your main filling, meat or vegan and then the different styles come with a variety of other fillings... easy. I had the chicken quesadilla and my wife had the chicken burrito. We both really enjoyed them. They had a lovely smokiness to the chicken and you can’t go wrong with gooey cheese. The service was good and the guy serving us was friendly. We would go again. They take credit card too.

Hailing from San Diego we were hoping to find a taste of home and we…..almost…..found it at Nate’s. At least there were hints of it in the corn tortillas and salsa. The meat dishes tasted more like they all had taco seasoning on them but the nopales were excellent and the serving of nachos was plenty with lots of toppings. The guy behind the counter wouldn’t do himself any harm if he was just a touch more friendly instead of the cool cat attitude tbh and what’s with the ultra loud music? I mean I really enjoyed hearing some 80s rap but I also like to have a conversation while I’m eating…you know….talk about which taco we will try next and ‘what do you think about the salsa?’….maybe that’s just me. Maybe we will be back when we have a craving for ‘almost authentic’ west coast Mexican food!

I love that there is initiative to start different kinds of food establishments in Nbg - this is much appreciated and needed. The highlight here are the margaritas- the best I’ve tasted outside of the USA. Unfortunately the food is generally overpriced for the quality in both ingredients and taste. It’s also annoying that after queuing up, ordering food at the counter you get asked if you want to add a tip on top of the price - in advance of tasting the food and there is no service, you have to order at the counter, pick up your food (screaming a name over super loud music) and clear your food away yourself. In the restaurant in Johannis the guy behind the counter was doing nothing, but was very happy to scream across the whole restaurant at someone to clear their table. I understand tips are shared across staff and I have no issue with tipping for service, but when I see such minimal service effort + already overpriced TexMex, I’m wondering if the total cost is worth the experience.

Friendly staff, cool location, delicious foods and drinks... would recommend and will definitely come back!

Had a great dinner last night before a comedy show. We tried both the street and crazy nates style tacos and thought that both were excellent, the beef ones were especially good. Probably the best atmosphere of a restaurant that I've been to in NBG.

Oh my, this is the best authentic Mexican food this California native has had since leaving San Diego and moving to Germany. I was excited to try it out, and this place absolutely delivered the goods. The chips are straight out of a cantina in SoCal, the salsa is dreamy, the meat is grilled to perfection. I’ll be back as often as I can. Thanks for the grub, Crazy Nate and co. Y’all are doing good things!

Sometimes you just want a taste of home, the casual dining experience to go along with it, and Nate's hits the spot. They are, in my opinion, an awesome MexiCali restaurant. 10/10, would go there again and recommend. My only complaint, they don't have a location closer to my house.

Excellent food using high quality ingredients. Really good vegetarian options which is not that common! Of course, excellent margaritas and overall a nice place to hang out with friends any day of the week. Bonus for boozy brunches with breakfast burritos!

Great dinner experience! Food tastes great, nicely seasoned and ingridients feel fresh. We were generally impressed by the weight and amount of filling that the chef wrapped in a burrito, true showcase of a craftsmanship. The Death Valley is the spiciest burrito and man.. I do love spicy food but that thing is reeaally spicy. Do not order it if your spice sensitivity is above -2 means of the standard deviation. Overall great dining experience as this is one of those places where you will happily be up for staying for another beer with your homies and having some post-dinner ciggies and chats - as opposed of other restaurants which mainly focus on, obviously, food but forget about creating an experience. Totally recommend it as its run by locals for the locals. Will come next time to try out some more tacos!

An outstanding happy place in the middle of nowhere for well executed amazing Mexican food...offerings freshness integrity and plenty of heat. Excellent fresh juices are a plus. Can’t help to feel much appreciated towards the English-speaking staffs with a heartwarming smile on their face. The atmosphere is just a travel in time. Suited to quick workday lunch or a getaway (in my case)

If you love Tacos and Burritos as we do, then Crazy Nate’s West Coast Mexican should definitely be your destination! Food is PHENOMENAL!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful! English speaking is a plus as well. Since moving to Germany, finding certain places that have food that you miss Stateside is a challenge, but we’ve found our “go to” place for Tacos and Burritos! Definitely 5 star! Stop by one of their locations...you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Searched for something to eat before going to the airport. Found Nate’s and WAS NOT disappointed. My husband is from Texas I’m from Cali. This place was a great mix of both. We really enjoyed our meal. Even our picky eating daughter got an extra taco. Thanks for a taste of home.

Crazy Nate's is still coming along as a very friendly and the coolest mexican food joint in town, yet foodwise it's seen better times. The PDX STYLE was OKish, but the LONG BEACH STYLE was not edible! The bacon was warm but apparently barely fried and the overall taste and consistency made it impossible to have more than one bite. So sad.

Tried this place after a google search. I was very impressed. I’ve had Mexican food in many different countries and several in Germany and I’d say this is the best California style Mexican food I have found in Europe. Atmosphere is very cool and takes me back to my youth. I really enjoyed it. I’d love to take my friends there. Owner is also cool.

Good place for authentic US-style Mexican food. The interior is unique and different. Definitely not something you expect in Nuremberg. The quesadillas were alright, I would not go back just because of them but my husband's tacos and burritos were tasty. It comes with a pricetag, so be prepared to spend a little extra for a West Coast flair. Check it out when in the mood for Mexican food!

Fantastic place. Found it randomly on a short weekend trip and really enjoyed the visit. Excellent selection of different beers including their own branded Helles and a really nice pale ale from the US. Best burrito and chili nachos I've found in Germany so far. Nate super friendly and chatty, can't recommend this place enough.

Their burritos seem to be just the right size, my children loved them. Quesadillas and Nachos are flavorful and a pretty large portion. To wash it all down get one of their beers, HELLyES.
