A small halal restaurant on the ground floor, below Jolenes, a popular breakfast place known for their Kueh Tiaw. Service was quick, staffs were attentive. They have 5 types of Kueh Tiaw (the original, dried, wet, special and soup) and you can choose between chicken, beef, seafood and just prawns. Starting as low as $3.50. They also have other options such as fried rice, soup, western food, sandwiches and a few breakfast sets. Heres what we tried: FRIED BEEF KUEH TIAW. We added on a sunny side up egg (additional $0.60) and requested for it to be spicy. There was a decent amount of finely chopped beef for the price ($3.50). The kueh tiaw texture was okay but the flavour was lacking, just soy sauce with no char (which seems to be normal in KB). The only reason I was able to finish it was because of the spiciness. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this kueh tiaw but this isn’t the worst I’ve had. CHICKEN FRIED RICE. The fried rice was surprisingly delicious. After eating the kueh tiaw, I had my doubts about the food. The rice was fluffy, flavourful, and had a slight char taste. There were pieces of shredded chicken which were a bit dry and there were no vegetables. Overall, a really good egg fried rice. There were still quite a few people dining in here. It’s hard to give a conclusion as I have yet to try the other types of kueh tiaw as well as other things in the menu. Will come back and hopefully the experience will be more positive.

affordable and delicious meals. variety of food and drink to choose from. they serve noodles, western food, soup, chinese food, soup as well as set meals for lunch and breakfast. their recommended ones are fried mee, fried mee hoon, fired kueh tiaw and kolo mee for the noodles section. they also recommend potato chips, beef steak, lamb chop and beef sandwich. i highly recommend having your breakfast and lunch here. their service is quick and the food is quite cheap for the portion they're serving.

Ask for Kueh Teow Daging pedas no sayur if you are here. Nyaman berabis. I craved for this when I was pregnant with my second baby. I delivered my son 3 hours after i finally ate the kueh teow. Alhamdulillah.

I believe this shop's main selling point is their kueh tiaw? For a specialized shop, it’s quite disappointing really. Never liked kueh tiaw here and I still don't. It really lacking in flavor, not to mention super expensive. I've had cheaper and more flavorful keuh tiaw than this.

Old school Chinese cafe that offers staples such as stir fried and soup noodles and lunch rice sets. There are some western items on the menu to cater to expatriates working in the oil industry but the item to order is the fried kueh tiaw or flat rice noodles. Add an egg over easy on top for a nice filling meal.

The only reliable place that is open over the weekend and (some) public holidays. Simple no frill foods. You get what you pay.

From the outside, this place almost looks vintage in the future. And it tells alot of stories. It's been around for millions of years, and my mom confirms how me and my brothers would love to come here and to eat their famous HOMECUT kwey tiaw. To my surprise, I remember none of it. And after taking a bite, I can see why this place has and still survive the Brunei economy, in a blunder. The noodles are evenly coated with Umami and soy sauce in our dreams. Though, it is best enjoyed piping hot. Cause it gets quite 'meh' when served cold. So get it going, fast! They recommend the beef kwey tiaw, and the secret is in the beef. Eating it alone is a dish itself. But when the Kolo mee dish came for my niece, I instantly regret ordering the kwey tiaw. ORDER THE KOLO MEE. There is no reason to hate it, there is no reason to even say anything about it. It tops everything else. This legendary Kolo mee is the chicken soup you'd give to a sick friend or sibling. It is the epitome of great bawang goreng amongst the wet. Crisp, and seasoned just enough to balance the whole dish. ORDER THE KOLO MEE. Because you won't regret ordering another bowl. Which my sister in law eventually did.
