Saga Hill is one of the finest hiking trails in KL to stretch and flex those muscles before any upcoming fitness events. There are two trials to get to the top via Taman Saga, trail A and C. While getting to the top might require some stamina, you’ll be greeted by an open space with rest huts, a playground and more. There are a couple of small waterfalls ahead that are perfect for a picnic or bath.

The trail is well marked and maintained, and the Stations are good for resting with sheds, benches and stools. There were a lot of hikers as the day was a public holiday, some hikers came with their small children and some with their dogs. The crowd was very friendly and greeted each other with smiling faces.

Nice hill in Ampang. Unfortunately, the entrance is blocked by a highway construction project. You might need to get in through another entrance. Probably the hill will be off limits once the new highway is constructed. Nonetheless, a very easy hill to climb, especially for beginners. You can ask the locals for tips and info too.

Please check the trails here before you trek since there are many ways are known by local like A, B, C, 4, 5, 6. I start trails from Saga up front of construction area and all the way up with stairs and trails ways. The way will lead you to waterfall or Saga hill top (with a lot hammocks are hanging) but I chose to go waterfall trails and go in another way lead to saga hill top and come back to the same way and I began. Please ask local up there if they have any lol especially in the weekend they will be around up there just to chilled or else good luck on your way to make it back to the same entrance.

Great hike with a variety of trails. Quite hard with many steep parts and ropes to keep you balanced. A waterfall as a reward.

Really good hiking trail. It is very well made with steps, safety ropes and rest areas. Route to the waterfall is more difficult than climb to the top of the Saga hill. There are not any breathtaking views from the top. Lots of trees. Waterfall is really nice. There are places to sit by the water and have a cozy break.

I have been here many times via many entrances. It is a great place to start your exercise, well marked ways, some hikers you will pass including the insects and birds. Some areas in Saga peak has been "developed" by TnB. From Saga you can explore to some exits, Look Out Point in Jalan Hulu Ampang (not for a beginner), Cheras or Taman Saga (which is prohibited now)
