Korean food continue to be popular among Malaysian and Korean BBQ is one that loved by many, especially for those who consume pork. We tried other Korean BBQ restaurant in Damansara Uptown before and decided to try out QingHeGu. It was quite pack on a weekday evening but the friendly staff quickly get us a table. We ordered single portion of pork belly and pork rib, steamed egg and a misu tofu soup. Kimchi was served after we placed our order. It was good with many varieties. We had it refilled a few times and there was absolutely no issue with the waiter. The pork rib was marinated and nicely cooked by the waiter. It was tender and juicy, however, a little too sweet to my liking. Pork belly was unfortunately slightly on the dry side. But overall the food is fresh, delicious and tasty. Service was prompt and the place was clean.

Love the marinated pork ribs here - it’s well seasoned and also well cooked by the staff. Comfortable place for Korean bbq, but be sure to book ahead as it’s usually fully booked. Went for an early dinner at 5pm and there were lesser crowds. I also like the generous side dishes they provided here, and the staff actually helped us to grill all the meats! Only disappointment is the kimchi pancake, the texture was kinda soggy.

The highlight here is the charcoal flame and the drinks. While the other Korean restaurants are starting to get old and dated, this place provides a breath of exciting fresh air. They don’t provide the usual sauces and condiments so you can really taste the meat. Makes for a great night with friends. Order the beef bone soup!

I recommend their bbq pork ribs! How it was marinated along with the meat texture was good stuff! Also, their 4 different flavors of korean pancake were nice too. Their side dishes and spicy cold noodle were decent. Pork belly's meat felt hard and not that great. Tteobokki was nice at first, you will feel the overly sweet sauce flavour after having afew bites. Recommended only if you are sharingg with a group of peeps.

Really nice Korean bbq restaurant. Crowded. Good service. As usual hard to find parking on this area. Must try their marinated soft pork ribs, bibimbap. Free sweet coffee and ice cream. Unlimited refill of side dishes, which taste great. Recommended.

Our (me and 2 more friends) first visit to this Korean bbq at uptown. We just love everything here from the food quality /price, ambiance and service 👍👍👍👍👍The glass noodles mix veges n sliced beef, and roasted pork were marvelous..kimchi and seafood pancake are yummy too.. All side dishes are so good and my favourites are Kimchi and the white radish pickles..we requested waiter to replenish the two side dishes😍 Will surely come back with families and friends and highly recommended to everyone out there.. ✌️ #By the way, is there any outlet around KL?

3 of us shared the special set with pork and beef (about 700+ grams of meat). Portion was just nice for us. The set also came with a steamed egg. They provide table service. You can choose to have your meat grilled for you at your table or grilled in the kitchen and served. The staff who attended to our table (Shoibaib, I hope I didn’t spell it wrongly) was super attentive and professional. Cut the meat into nice thick slices and grilled them very well. Generous amount of side dishes. Radish kimchi was really good. Tried their rice drinks as well. Not too bad but nothing much to shout about.

Other restaurants also able to get this kind of taste. But the price here is expensive than outside. I dislike the kimchi side dish here. Not that sour and not that spicy for me. Other side dishes also normal to me. The pork is marinated well and taste very delicious. The pork here is thick. Kimchi stew or kimchi soup also normal. Steam egg is good. Spent around RM120 ++ for 2 pax.

First of all the service here is one of the best among other Korean bbq restaurants. They were attentive and explained eveything. The food is delicious and worth it. Enjoyed the marinated pork as it was full of flavour. Will come back again to try the beef.

Service is great just like other reviews mentioned. The waiter will cook the meat at your table for around 15 minutes and cut the meat for you, they will also check up on your meal asking if any dissatisfaction. There is also free flow ice cream and they gave us free complimentary pancake and the original pancake tasted really good. Kimchi pancake was just meh. Tried their pork belly, pork shoulder and pork rib and it was just okay for me. The meat is really thick hence it was hard to chew. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be. Seasoning wise it was great. Kimchi was really sour today, think it’s over fermented.

The beef here was delectable! The pork was decent but not as good as the beef, kimchi pancake was too salty, steamed egg was a miss. The ban chan (side dishes) were nice and filling. There’s a minimum order of 2 portions of meat, otherwise you’d have to pay a surcharge. Service here is quick, but you do have to wait quite a bit if you walk in without a reservation. My partner and I waited around 30 mins on a Saturday night. Parking here is madness, so do take that into account. Alternatively you can park at the nearby Starling Mall and walk over too. They have unlimited ice cream with the standard flavours (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip) which was a nice touch. You’ll smell like Korean BBQ after. Also, it’s on the pricey side. We spent RM322 for two of us (two portions of meat, steamed egg, kimchi pancake, 1 bottle of sikhye).

Pork ribs was amazingly tender, beef tongue really thin and chewy coz we asked for well done. Lots of banchan and there’s free ice-cream and sikhye testers. Very packed so we didn’t get to let our food digest. Good job to Manik for serving us attentively! Noisy when full house. Loved the cold noodles too, not super chewy and there’s mustard! Too bad no chicken or seafood. Premium price but reasonable since there’s no fix amount of orders forced upon like back in Jeju or Seoul.

I was here to celebrate my mom's birthday and this is the second time we've been here. Amdad served us both times and he's no doubt the best! He was splendid in service and making us feel comfortable, it was a 10/10 experience for me and our family.

If you're looking for a quick fix for Korean BBQ, this is the place to go. The meat selection is really good. And the staffs are friendly. They marinated the meat, and it was juicy and tender. Always packed and full esp during weekends. And parking is an issue. Best to park in Starling mall and walk across the street. Kids will love this place, coz it provides free ice cream

Food is good. The whole bbq experience is great, there will be a good portion of vegetables for you. Side dishes are nice too, and you can have your free ice cream after the meal.

In our inaugural visit to this restaurant, we ordered the house special beef set menu that comes with marinated beef galbi, marinated rib finger meat, sliced beef, and a free steamed egg. We also ordered the four colour pancakes, two soup - galbi tang and sundubu jjigae. There were side dishes in smaller circular plates, but portions are big and are on free flow. We were given a bottle of fermented barley, and there are free ice cream and coffee (sweet) as well. The two marinated beef were tender and tasty, including the two soup were nice. The bill came to RM509.54 for the five of us.

Worth to try even though maybe a bit pricey. RM200 for 3 pax. The meat is well seasoning and well bbq by the waiters. All of the side dishes taste yummy and refillable. They are using charcoal but won't feel air very bad inside. Quite full, so better call for reservations. Free ice cream which can choose on cone or paper cup. Only parking is a pain.

My usual go-to place for Korean food. Not only the Bibimbap that is so effing good, they are very generous with the Banchan and KBBQ here is very yummy. You don't need to worry about anything being underseasoned. Meanwhile, service is usually very good, the staff are quite well trained and polite. Overall, a very nice and welcoming place! Tip: they have very good lunch deals!!

KBBQ restaurant in uptown. Side dishes good BBQ- staff will assist with the bbq, meats were tasty and nicely cooked Pancake- crispy edges, generous filling. Free flow ice cream (for diners) Experience slight marred by an extremely rowdy table but that does not reflect on the restaurant. In fact they were prompt at addressing the table when things got out of hand so kudos to them. All in all, no complaints. KBBQ restaurant done right. Prices are reasonable, but can rise depending on what you order.

This restaurant is packed at night so it's best to be there super early or make reservations. The meat served are much better quality. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Price is more expensive compared to Daorae but the meat is really good. Their menu is not as extensive as Daorae but there is enough to satisfy your appetite. Another thing to note, the area is terrible for parking so do go early to look around or double parked but please leave your number.
