Good for family outings and can cater to large groups. I've been here several times as my family lives nearby. The servers are always attentive and polite. Would recommend Ombak for people who are into the shell-out style seafood. Unlike its other counterparts, Ombak's portion is quite big and the seafood comes with a lot of gravy, making the experience more enjoyable. The place is also very spacious and suitable for dining out during these pandemic times. Plus point is the hand washing area - clean and well maintained.

Had seafood banquet here with absolute joy 💯. Would have rated 5 🌟 for Food if it wasn't for the baby octopuses that were too springy to chew. Cajun was personally the best, as I always prefer spicier flavour. Great stuff.

Really good for photo sessions👍🏻 We ordered The Imperial set that were meant for 5pax, their portion is quite big so we couldn’t finish them and had to take-away the remaining. We picked Cajun sauce (medium spiciness) and the buttermilk sauce. Seriously we love the buttermilk ones! It was so milky and their seafoods are fresh. Cozy environment and thumbs up for their service too! The servers were very attentive and volunteered to help us with the crabs and also to help us to take pictures too! Will definitely recommend to friends and family to come here again!

I would summarize my first food experience in Ombak Kitchen in one word: Yum! Had the blue mussel with their signature cajun sauce, australian lobster thermidor and fresh oyster. The restaurant has ample seatings and very clean. Parking is no issue but the restaurant is a bit hidden in my opinion. Other than that, great food experience.

Had our Birthday Dinner for my Dad at Ombak Kitchen , this was our 3rd or 4th visit there and as usual the food was delicious, the food package that we had was more than enough for 8 of us. It’s a great place for family gathering and special day celebration with family. The food preparation was fast and everything was smoothly done by them. Make sure to make your reservation and don’t forget to inform if it’s a birthday event because you will get a place with some deco (Happy Birthday wordings). Overall satisfied as always . Thank You.

It is a premium shellout restaurant. Good place if you want to taste a great and different class of shellout cuisine. Using fresh seafood ingredients and great sauce make it worth the money you paid. It might over pricing somehow compare if you can cook it yourself at home using fresh ingredients. Put a little bit part of king crab in each set will be good as it can be something special to the customers. Staff members here are great. Well done.

I took my mother and my big sister here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was just started. It’s great because we got the whole place to ourselves. Lots of space for my mum to parked her walker. Ordered a set of seafood (shell out) with added lobsters and corns in black pepper sauce. They were delicious! Plastic bibs and crab claw cracker were provided. Staffs were friendly. Restroom was clean. It’s lacking atmosphere though. Probably because it’s still early. So I’m not taking any star off for that reason. It’s a great place to dine with family and friends.

I'm so happy to be introduced to Ombak. Superb service, so accommodating... all seafood items are so fresh and high quality. In fact I think I'll order just steam with separate sauce next round. Generous with boiled potatoes & corn. Also very fresh and delicious. Will definitely order again!

I can't say a bad word about this place, it's just spot on. The seafood was fresh, the sauce was delicious and they've made the 'bucket' concept work exceptionally well. It's almost the perfect place for a spicy bucket of seafood! For what you get, too, it's extremely good value. Worth a trip for, even if you don't live in the local area. Setting is nice too, with a water feature close by and not on a main road, can sit outside in peace! Go here!

This is not my first ordering from Ombak Kitchen, Bukit Jelutong. This time I ordered 3 sets of combo 7 cooked in 2 flavours, signature cajun and buttermilk curry. I ordered these for a family dinner of 20 people. Everyone enjoyed the shell out style dinner. The flavour was good. The size of the seafood were decent. Although it is on the pricier side nevertheless we were satisfied.

Take away seafood combo for my small anniversary party. The portion is big and the sauces are so delicious. Ombak Kitchen Bukit Jelutong has delivered a tremendous job. Big thanks.

Tasty foods and drinks. However, we paid for the private room but one of the waitress rudely told us to keep the door open, as the aircond outside is faulty. We wouldn’t mind if she asked us nicely, but it just seems like we were at fault. She was not friendly at all throughout serving the foods and drinks either. Food arrives late, literally waited an hour, and have no choice but to pack the desserts since they already started to clean up for closing. Probably will be helpful to tone down the sound system as well. The other waiters are friendly and very helpful
