This is the best Malay restaurant I ever visited. Very spacious, more parking space, more dining tables, variety of Malay dishes, tasty and the price is quite reasonable. Plus, they have a live band to entertain visitors. Very interesting. This restaurant is always crowded especially around 12 to 2 o'clock but if you come late after 2, nothing left to eat.

Went here for breakfast around 8.00am but it wasn't open yet. Around 12.00pm I come back again for lunch. At this time it was full with customers coming for lunch but don't have long queue . There a lot of menu options such as chicken, beef and seafoods. the foods was nicely sorted by type off cooking and it's already served in plate, so we don't have to spend time to scoop the food into the plates. The staff was nice and friendly, answer all of our questions calmly and recommend their best selling menu for those who can't decide what to eat. One thing I was disappointed is the drinks counter. There's not much options for drinks and we had to take it ourselves from the counter to the dining table. The counter was situated at the end of the hall, imagine if we bring a few glasses of water and had to walk through the hall with full of customers. Hope next time they can serve the drinks to customer direct or move the drinks counter to the middle of the hall.

Nice view in the morning but the place was not ready for beautiful breakfast mood as the menu were not prepared as their operating hours 8am..Hope the owner take the action to ensure their food is ready by time especially on weekend and PH. For lunch its was superb with so many choices and taste was super original local.

Many dishes to choose from. I chose udang masak lemak dengan rebung. The taste was awesome. I end up packed one for home. The place is comfortable and staff are friendly. Will come again to try another dish. I came during weekday so many parking available. I highly recommended this restaurant

The restaurant gives a kenduri vibe. The food counter is long, felt like it would never end with countless negri dishes. Good payment system too - you take what food you want, go to your table, someone will come to count the price & you pay before leaving.

It is a beautiful place with a vast rice field view, which makes it a popular stop for motorcycle groups, especially on weekends. The food and drinks are decent, nothing extraordinary, but the pricing is reasonable. The parking lot is spacious, but it can be full during weekends. Whenever I return to Pahang, I always make a stop at this place to enjoy a drink and relax while admiring the lush green rice field view, which always soothes my mind.

Pros: 1) ample parking spaces & dining area. 2) variety of food. 3) close to Istana Seri Menanti. Cons: 1) services are a bit messy. 2) masak Salai is only available after 11 am. We arrived at 10 am. Still got empty tables. Ate fried noodles, lemang with rendang, kuih bakar & dougnuts. Tasted so-so. Kuih bakar tasted good & soft. Love their sugar cane drink. A friend ate beef salai & said it was spicy. Most people queue after 11 am for an early lunch.Later, can visit the beautiful Istana Seri Menanti.

We are on our way to Rompin, Negeri Sembilan when we stop at this restaurant. People already queue to have their lunch as it opens at 11.30am. Variety of yummy dishes. Very tempting like wanted to eat all of them 😂. Has also small stall selling local desserts. There is local band entertaining visitors during the lunch.

A must visit when in Kuala Pilah. Great choice of traditional Minang delicacies. My favourite was the beef rendang and ikan bakar pair with their range of lemak cili api. Stunning back of rice padi field. Awesome.

I recently visited Kodai Makan Ain and found it to be a great place for a quick stop and admire the view. The rice field view is stunning, the food and drinks are pretty decent, and the pricing is very reasonable. There are plenty of parking spaces too, so you never have to worry about where to park. Whenever I'm around Pahang, I'd just stop here for a drink and continue my destination from there. Just a random spot, I suppose. It isn't so bad.

Was brought by our friend to makan here after visiting the royal palace. There are so many lauk to choose from over here. Love the food here. The ayam berlado is very good, will definitely get this when I come again. The masak lemak is a must try here, very lemaky and goes very well with rice. Sambal tempoyak is also fragrantz just not enough spicy and caramalised. The environment is okay, as some parts are still undergoing renovation, the live band is good and very entertaining. Sabun to wash hand very diluted as with many places. We feel the price is reasonable and food is also yummy.

If you are looking for local authentic food along your drive up, you can stop by here. Reasonable prices and fast service despite the long queue for the food. Main attraction is of course it’s Masakan salai - all types. It’s what I had expected of when looking for food in Kuala Pilah N9. The Surau is also clean as well as the toilet. It does have a busker band which is noisy while praying so go when they aren’t singing. Lots of dishes to choose from and deserts as well. Missed the chendol this round. My only ask is for the self service clod water tank to be filled fast because it’s hot out and that was a bit slow. Otherwise worth the stop and money.

This is my 3rd visit to this eatery.... A must visit eatery if you love negeri sembilan dishes. The varities of masak lomak cili api is not so hot (pedas gila) but deliciously hot (the bird eye chillies, salt, tumeric etc), ingredients are equally balanced that makes you want more. You must try the cow skin dish or jangeh. Mind you, once you have tasted it, you'll want more. The arrays of sambals n ulams compliments the dishes so well. For me, I will definitely go here whenever I am in Seremban.... if you want to taste REAL delicious negeri sembilan dish at an affordable price.... this is the place to be.

Visited this kedai when it was situated by the road side. Good food. Let us change masak lomak cili api to masak lomak lado api. We locals use the words lado api i/o cili api.

For the price of the meal and friendly staff and services, this place is worth a visit once a month for family occasion. No qualms in terms of parking space or seating place as the venue can accommodate around 60+ pax.
