A legendary shop that specializes in Hakka homemade noodles. The lamb noodle was really excellent. The lamb and the broth are perfectly cooked, also the chili is nice. I like their drinks as well, the taste is just alright and not diluted. They open early in the morning and closed when sold out, I am lucky enough to get the last two bowls during my last visit around 10am+ in a Sunday morning. The service is fast and all the servers are friendly and attentive. The price is reasonable and the portion is enough. However, parking is quite challenging, because parking space is limited.

Amazing mutton mee, one of must visit places every time I'm in Kuching. The noodles are very well made, the broth is very flavourful and the place has a classic/rustic kopitiam feel. I enjoy their coffee and service is good, the place can get a little packed at times.

Nice Hakka noodles. The noodles is homemade and very Q. Portion is just nice. Meat and charsiu are all tasty. Will try the other noodles next time. Boss and staff are friendly. Place is clean and tidy.

Been eating this Hakka Noodles for more than 30 years already ever since they were at Woon Lam Cafe before moving here. Overall the taste has not changed much over the years.

Lovely old coffee shop open from 6am daily. Noodles are made in house. The folk serving are so friendly and the coffee shop is spotless. We had it twice over 4 days. Such a typically great Kuching breakfast experience!

The famous blue and yellow coloured window shop. This place served a delicious beef mutton noodle. You can order with soup or dry. It is an old shop, you can definitely feel the 'old' Kuching vibe dining here. Instagram worthy view of the DUN Sarawak from beside the shop.

Enjoy delicious Hakka hand made noodles at the old town street is a memorable experience. The noodles comes with different meat (pork, beef or lamb) at your choice. Coffee here is also good.

the ladies here are friendly and food came quickly. noodles were q q and delicious. teh was nice to drink as well. we came around 9am so no crowd.

An old establishment with probably 3 generations managing at current location. My father was eating their bowl of noodles during pre-war days when he was a kid! There was no store back then! Handmade egg noodles with different toppings! Minced chicken or ground pork are two of my favorites. Dry wonton (kiaw as in local Hokkien ) to pair with bowl of noodles! There are other noodles like beehoon, lao shu feng are also available. A small secret is one can order complimentary soup on the side. The store opens as early as 6:00 am and will close around 10:30 am - 11:00 am depending how busy they were that particular day! Get there early! There are other locations too (ABC Center, 3rd Mile Market and kopitiam behind KWSB) run by different relatives (I assume)! Parking around Carpenter or China St might be a challenge during normal daytime. Parking during early morning is no issue. I suggest parking at Merdeka Plaza parking structure and walk leisurely over!

So Glad I went thru so much youtube vids. This place is the reason i will come back to Kuching again. Mutton broth noodle is amazing. The broth is not too thick. The noodle is cooked just nice. I can’t find this in Singapore. Dry noodle with wanton is also delicious. What Im most impress is that the two kinds i had eaten had two different condiments for this. It shows (to me) that the chef cares about the food. 👍👍👍 Youtube vid on old Kuching says that this store is more than 50 yrs old. And kolo mee origin could be from this store. Must try place. Take note. Open at 6:30am. Close on Tuesday. Its super popular. Hence as soon as it sold out. It close store. (Side note- this place is very hygienic. They put chopsticks in hot water when serving. The floor is dry and clean. Table is grime free) 😄

The handmade noodles are excellent! Highly recommended. Tried their kopi o kosong.. yea.. just not my usual long black.... Great service from the store lady and their well known reserved publick parking!!
